We planned a family trip with 18 people. Not an easy task, but Chris was able to make our experience as easy and seamless as possible. He was responsive to our multiple emails and phone calls. He is well versed in cruising and was able to point a lot of us first timers in the right direction when choosing how we wanted our vacation to go. He worked with some of us in Ontario and some of us in BC, to ensure that we all met on the ship according to plan. He was able to book group excursions and group dinner reservations for us. I would highly recommend Chris and his team when planning your upcoming cruise.

Rep did not offer option of booking more time in Amsterdam to mitigate jet lag. Nor was there an offer of more time at the end of 15 day cruise to enjoy Budapest (a beautiful city) before taking coach to Prague. Scenic Cruise Line was exceptional. Staff were wonderful, accommodation was exceptional, food was great. Inclusion of optional excursions in the price was great. No tipping required feature was very nice. Scenic spoiled us big time!

I cannot say enough good things about Chris Ashton and Expedia Barrie! We have been working with Chris for the past year to plan a 80th Birthday cruise/Rome Tour for our Mum. Chris spent hours with our group ensuring that everyone’s individual needs would be met. Chris is a pleasure to work with! All was progressing nicely when Covid 19 hit. Chris immediately reached out to our family to reassure us that we would work through this together, no matter what we decided. Sadly, we had to make the decision to cancel, as staying safe is most important. Chris reached out to all the tour groups we booked with and secured a 100% refund on our behalf. Chris refunded us our down payment for our cruise. Chris kept us posted as to what Air Canada refund options would be, and gave us all the options clearly so we could make individual informed decisions. All this dedicated time to us knowing there would be no financial benefit to him or the company! I have never posted a review before, but Chris has stood behind us and the Expedia name with such integrity that I wanted to write this. No matter where I travel to next, I will be booking through Chris at Expedia. Thanks Chris!!

Whenever we had questions, it felt like we were bothering the agent. Sometimes there was a long delay in returning our calls (most recent enquiry has yet to be answered and it has been 22 days and our agent was in the office when we left the message). Agent doesn't seem to even try to get us a good deal and when we question, it's like we are being brushed off. Booked our trip a year in advance and only had 4-5 questions...we are not "needy" people who contact them every week. Switching companies.
