First time Rafting and I have to say I'm so glad that I choose Chinook Rafting. The whole process from booking, waivers, guidance, equipment and experience was way beyond my expectations. Very professional staff and service was really professional. We had the opportunity to be with Paz our Rafting guide, who was incredibly enthusiastic, positive, fun and adventurous. I hope I have the opportunity in life to meet her again. Paz your the best! Never stop smiling ???? ????

Chinook rafting is a hot spot for those after wilderness culture and that Canadian Rockies adventure vibe. My personal highlights were the cliff jump, hearing about the re-introduced bison in the area and surf in crystal blue waters????. The guides where all super knowledgeable of the area and Tim (our guide) even advised a few of us on other local delights and hikes close by to fill in the rest of our day. Hope to see you guiding in New Zealand, one day, Tim ????

We loved Chinook Rafting!! Mid July of 2019, our friends got married in Banff and this was one of our excursions! The guides were amazing, well-trained and very knowledgeable! Being on this River was the best experience ever! We also got to jump off of a cliff!!????️????⛰️

It was a incredible experience for us. Richard was our guide. He did a pretty good job. We booked for Horseshie Canyon river rafting but because of the water level rise they changed it to Kanaskis river. It was okay but not adventurous and we could not do cliff jump as it's not available in kanaskis river/for some other reason???????? Overall i will recommend this group. They are professional and safety concern.

The rafting trip with Chinook was one of the highlights of our trip. We went the very first day of the 2018 season and were skeptic due to the temps of the “refreshing” water. The atmosphere was great, the guide was awesome, every member of the staff was welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend taking time during your holiday to spend a few hours with Chinook. If we had more time, we would do it again. We’ve done most of the tourist attractions, and besides seeing a grizzly and wolf, this tops everything else. To put it lightly, if you are thinking about booking a reservation and then don’t, you’re stupid and can head back to the airport.

White water rafting is one of the items on my to-do list for a while ago. I had to admit that this is truly-amazing than what I imagined before I literally did it. A must-do in Summer activity. Wonderful experience. Most of us were non swimmers and first timers but our guide Vikram made sure we had the most fun experience ever.

Awesome way to wrap up our trip to Banff! This was a great experience. The guides are so organized, from the minute you check in to the minute you leave. Everyone has a sense of humor, which is very helpful when you might be a little anxious, I wasn't anxious at all! ;-) I honestly wish the trip had lasted longer just because it was so much fun. Our trip offered 2 cliff jump options, my husband jumped and loved it. Our guides James and Sam were great and we would highly recommend this for any adventure seeking couple out there! Can't wait to go rafting again

Breathtakingly beautiful sites, the rapids are not too rough and the guides were great and really friendly. I was nervous in the beginning and confident in the end because its very well explained. Its an unforgettable trip in any weather. The cliff jump is also amazing.

This rafting company is great! The guides are very funny and make sure everyone is knowledgeable about what they are getting themselves into. They claim to go on class 3-4 rapids but I was underwhelmed. I have gone rafting in Idaho and the rapids there were bigger than these. The guides make sure everyone has fun in some fashion though!

Went rafting with them few weeks ago in Horseshoe Canyon and the trip was amazing. Everything was well-organized and the guides were very professional. The rapids and cliff jump were a blast. Our guide, Dave, was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole trip a ton of fun. I would definitely go rafting with Chinook Rafting again in the future.

Just a brilliant family experience, and a must if you're in the Rockies! Can't recommend these guys highly enough. All the Guides are friendly, helpful, funny, and know their stuff. They made it very easy for us, as beginners, to enjoy the trip loads, including the younger kids who loved it. Our guide, Vikram, was a top guy - made it very clear what we had to do to get the most out of it and stay safe and have a lot of laughs. We did the family trip, so only level 2-3 rapids, still loads of fun, and hopefully we can do 4+ when our youngest is big enough.

Fantastic family experience. Took my wife Liz, my 6 year old son Milo and my 75 year old Father! So really was an experience for every end of the spectrum. We went on the Kananaskis river and had a great guide in Marshall, who was funny and informative all through the ride. All the staff were friendly and helpful though and made the whole event a joy from start to finish. Great value for money and an experience you will remember for a long time . Young, old or in between you should give this a try.

Really well organized. It takes a lot more than I expected to have a safe and good trip. But they do it all for you and there’s definitely value in all they provide. Even on a 33deg day- rare prior to climate change at least as usually it’s cool in Rockies- it’s cold in glacier waters so the wet suit is huge. There’s the bus to the drop off and pick up, loading the rafts to amd from, masks for bus, string for glasses, a car key drop off, photos taken fir free, the boots, wet suit, helmet, life jacket. Plus warm layer and sun layer if you want. Plus really efficient teaching so you feel safe and know what to do. Plus it’s all cleaned up for you after. And a free hot drink and snack after. What more could you ask for? We had so much fun. Did the easy one and saw young kids and seniors looked like they were having fun. My 12, 14 yo girls who are at the age that everything is at best Meh… and me who wants calm usually and my HB who wants excitement all loved it. We will do moderate level next time

My wife and I had an awesome time on the Horseshoe Canyon trip. James was our guide and he had us laughing the entire time. We're from the South and we were nervous about the temperature of the water, but it felt great. I would highly recommend Chinook rafting.

Had a not very nice experience with these people. We phoned en route to Nakoda lodge and asked for directions (which ended up being wrong) therefore we missed our raft trip. We spoke with the manager and explained our situation for them to tell us sucks to be you, and they kept our entire deposit without a rain check. Great customer service, thanks soooooo much for the wonderful experience...not.

This was such an incredible experience. My wife and I loved every minute of it. The guides were super. One of the guides (David) was absolutely hilarious! I'd pay a $100 just to listen to him crack jokes for an hour.

The initial orientation was led by a shorter blonde woman who was charismatic and reliable. She made rules... fun! She made sure we were all engaged through the safety demonstrations and provided a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. I cannot remember his name- but the guide from Costa Rica was a blast!!! He was hilarious, personable and knowledgeable. His wisdom comes from his experience as he has been all over the world rafting. He taught our party of 4 many thing and we had very good conversations. His guiding was very professional and safe, and for first timers: he put our nerves to rest with how well he took care of us! I would recommend this company (as all the other guides seemed awesome too) to anyone looking for a fun time! This was a great way to start our love for rafting- we hope to be back again one day!

Our family had a tremendous amount of fun and soakness! My 12 yr old daughter afterwards stated that it was one of her best moments ever to be in the white water and would like to try a Class 4 when older. My 10 yr old son loved it and was so thrilled, he wanted to go back. The ride and the scenic river brings was well worth it. The guides were excellent and skilled and the company were very well organized. Everything went smoothly and well-planned. Our guide, Richard, the tallest whitewater rafting guide ever to live at 6'8" was very skilled making sure the raft crew (us) were working together. He was also very accommodating making sure we hit the right white water sections well so the kids get really drenched!...lol. The kids loved it. Richard, the powerful anchor, was entertaining and informative. Thanks again to Richard and his crew. Well done!

We had so much fun on our rafting trip. We are a family ranging in age from 6 to 46 and everyone had a fantastic time. Our guide was funny, great with the kids and made the experience exciting and memorable. The company is well-organized and places a lot of emphasis on safety. Went with my bachelor party and had an absolute blast! Definitely an active activity with beautiful scenery and they take pictures of the whole experience for you. We did the level 2/3 rapids which was family friendly, next time we would tackle the more advance experience.

Our trip consisted of about 8 or 9 rafts leaving about the same time. For the most part everything was very well organized with specified details as to where items can be picked up and dropped off. I brought 2 young children (never rafted before) and our guide, Tyler, ensured that they had a great view, great ride and had them assist in the odd job too. They loved their first rafting trip and look forward to me taking them again. The refreshments at the end of the trip was appreciated. The one thing I didn't like was the fact that I bought a CD that has pictures of everyone's rafting trip. I have been with companies that supply only photos of your group/family which I believe makes more sense. But, overall I would recommend Chinook again.

Beautiful scenery, a very knowledgeable and entertaining raft guide Marshall, and beautiful weather made for a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend!
