Such a great crew working here! We had a really good experience off and on the river. A very extensive set of covid guidelines makes you feel very safe. The river experience was unforgettable. We were a family of 4 with 13 and a 10 year old and fell very safe while getting a doze of wild river...wild enough for me, anyway. The kids were beyond excited. The views are jaw dropping....if you are anywhere in the vicinity, it is so worth the stop.

First class tour. The gorgeous scenery along with experienced and talented staff made it an incredible experience for my family. We saw 2 bears; a grizzly crossed the river just 50 meters in front of us! Unforgettable! Don't miss it! Thank you Wild Blue Yonder!

I was initially apprehensive at to the quality of the experience but it was an outstanding experience. The geography lesson while on the water helped explain some of the sites we encountered or the rapids we shot through. Totally fun to see my grand-children totally soaked and grinning from ear to ear.

Went with my 10 and 11 year old sons. We had a blast. One of the hi-lites of our trip. Friendly staff and well run!

Totally Awesome! Stunning trip through a truly majestic landscape - the Sulphur River cliffs are a must see... Our guides rocked and are real pros... 10/10 - a must-do activity in Grande Cache.

I went on several trips with Wild Blue Yonder and it always was a lot of fun and adventurous! Not only that they care a lot about your security but they also make sure that you have a good rafting experience. The owners and stuff are awesome people who became my friends. We are always having a good time together and no one ever complains to be treated bad.

Not sure if it was incompetence, malice, dishonesty or a combination of all three from the management but I found this to be a terrible place to work. I wasn’t impressed by their safety protocols and was generally disappointed with how they handled situations (safety and otherwise) on the river. I would not recommend their courses, river trips, or employment due to how disorganized and unsafe I thought they were compared to other rafting companies I have worked around and in. Edit in response to first comment claiming I did not work there: Just to be clear I did work here for three months from May to June of 2018 as a raft guide. I went on 41 commercial river trips with this company. I did both the Swiftwater Rescue Training and the Raft guide training program in Grande Cache. I have been kayaking, canoeing, and rafting whitewater for over 15 years, have been a river guide for over 10 years, and was asked to help rewrite portions of the safety manual of this company during my employment. 2nd Edit: I have yet to file any complaints with employment standards. I did however have a devil of a time getting my ROE from this company after I became injured in the fall and had to file for temporary disability. These might be the complaints and phonecalls that the management are recalling.

Not a bad experience but when I heard they weren’t paying their employees I was shocked and refuse to go back. That’s awful employment for great employees. Come on.

We had a really good experience with these guys. The trek down to the river was pretty extreme but the rafting itself was very enjoyable ????

It was so much fun and the guides were awesome

Wonderful experience! The guides were clear with instruction, safety measures, and having fun!! Went with a mix of adults and children, both guides were great with each age group. It was great to hear the support the guides get with a future in tourism. We were not only on the water but learned about the environment, how things change, and most importantly things to do (and not do) when in/on the water. Had a blast, will definitely be back!!

I've known multiple people who have worked for them and have had bad experiences with management being dishonest and not paying them correctly, nor bothering to fix it when addressed. I wouldn't recommend working for them OR spending your money on a business with shady practices.

The Sheep Creek run is everything you imagine white water rafting would be like. I strongly suggest the 2 Wild package. On the Sulphur River you will practice your skills and enjoy great scenery on a leisurely ride. After a light lunch, you can take those skills to an exciting and wild ride down class 4 rapids on Sheep Creek. Be sure to book in mid-May to mid-June for the best water. P.S. The guides are experienced and entertaining. P.P.S. You get free Go Pro video and pictures taken and provided by the guides.

Great experience with Wild Blue Yonder Grande Cache. Rafting the Sulphur River is the best way to experience such a unique river with the Wilmore as your backdrop. Great guides and highly recommended family experience, well worth the drive to Grande Cache.

Great first time experience white water rafting! Yo was our guide and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! Would recommend to everyone !

These guys are SERIOUSLY professional. For our group, we used them to get us across the Smokey for some Passport hiking, and they managed the crossing in some really tough conditions. Good guys to talk to, very responsive, good focus on safety, very reliable. I have heard that they have done some serious adventures on their own time, and it was obvious in the short bit of work that they did for us that they had some real depth of expertise. I'd love to go on one of their regular rafting tours someday! Grande Cache is a beautiful area, and it is lucky to have some awesome outfitters like these guys! Check out the photo below for an example of them really going the distance!

I have known many former and current river guides and I am appalled at the way they are currently treated. Definitely seems like there are some unethical things going on and I wouldn't recommend giving this company any of your money.

I was sooo scared to try white water rafting, but our guide Cory really knew his stuff and the river, with his knowledge and expertise I felt safe, and had a great time! I hear he lives in revelstoke so I'm sure he knows that river well too! Oh and it was freezing cold and raining as we had out river talk it thundered. I'm always freezing but the gear they have kept me nice and warm like so comfy I was amazed! And when the sun came out half way through we pulled over so we could take off some gear. (Yes it was a boat full of girls only one of us had ever rafter before!) Everything about them was first rate, they went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. And the river oh my, it starts off slow u have lots of time to get the feel for it then it gets fun! It's real white water rafting not just floating in a boat! But don't worry if u get scared u can just hold the rope and sit in the middle like the kids Cory did all the real paddling anyway ;) and we had moose jump in the water in front of us! So much fun I could go on for hours I would definatly go back!
