I booked the Rockt Mountain 5 days tour online in USA Tour for Fun website. In order to confirm the itinerary, I called the agent yesterday. The agent is very patient to make sure every items I booked, also, give me many good suggestions , like the good restaurant in Banff Town, the weather in Ice Field. I believe we will have a good experience in Calgary!

Looks like they deal with mostly Asia, staff said nothing to me during my visit. The prices look okay I would look at hidden fee's. As you can see in my pics there is a package deal for Thailand as I looked the pamplet over there were extra charges $$$.

Horrible experience. Paid a really expensive fare for a 5 day tour to Banff for four people. On the last part of the trip, we were supposed to catch a train from Jasper to Vancouver, however they train company cancelled last minute. This was not very well communicated and left us in a panic as we had to organise our own transport, hotel and food. While I understand it was out of Westar’s control that the train company cancelled, they offered no help at all and no mention of compensation as we already paid nearly $5,000 CAD upfront. I feel as if this company doesn’t have any customer service at all and did not care about their stranded passengers. We enquired if new accomodation would be provided, but they disregarded the issue. They even had the nerve to issue out a waive of liability contract to cover themselves before any mention of compensation. We have asked the tour guide multiple times when we will know/receive the refund amount back, however again there was no answer. So now, I have to pay for FOUR people out of my own pocket because we have received no help at all from this company I will strongly reccomend not using Westar, aside from this issue I felt that both the company and tour guides were not professional and the service was definitely not worth the ammount I paid. Very poor communication on their behalf. If I could give no stars, I would.

As a lone tourist from the UK, I booked the 3 day tour in June 2019, setting off from Calgary, staying in Banff for 2 nights. The tour guides are Chinese, but with exceptional English. The tours are dual language, English and Chinese and the clients are predominantly Chinese. I was super impressed with the organisation of the itinery, the friendliness of the two guides Lisa and Eric and the quality of the hotel. The company could not have been more efficient to pack so much in. Driving yourself, you could not get as close to the sights as a tour bus. The time spent at each location is just enough to experience it. For example, the 90 mins at Lake Louise is just enough to walk at a pace to the other end. Same for Lake Moraine, where there was not one other person. Most people prefer to relax at one end. Both tour guides and drivers work exceptionally hard, but seem to enjoy what they do. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 days with them and would advise buying all the extras, such as lunch at Banff Springs, Gondola, Snobus etc as these just add to the experience. I upgraded to Canulta Lodge or similar and found the room extremely comfortable. Banff is a great base for two days too. Lots of restaurant choice. Lots of shops to buy gifts in. Can catch a bus for $2 to the hot springs in the evening. Highly recommend.

We just finished a wonderful tour with Westar of Jasper, Banff, and the Ice Fields. It was 4 days of some of the most beautiful sites that Canada has to offer. We were accompanied by 2 do the best tour guides we have encountered. The first 2 days Lisa was our guide. She was knowledgeable and very entertaining and a real delight. The second 2 days, our guide was David. He was also very knowledgeable and went into great details about the sites we were seeing. I can’t say enough about these two people. And I can’t forget our driver, Larry. We have been on a number of bus tours and I can honestly say, Larry was one of the best and safest drivers we have had. He made the trip memorable for our safety. If you are looking for a tour company that goes above and beyond to make the customers enjoy their tour, Westsar is the agency to book. They really know how to treat there customers.

We just finished a small group of the "5 days Calgary Jesper n Banff tour". We re soooo lucky cause half of the tour was only me, m husband and our tour guide Mr.Lee. The weather was beautiful and Mr. Lee was very friendly n knowledgeable! The last two days of our tour, we met some nice and funny people in the small group of 7 people. We became friends after the fantastic tour experience! Definitely 5 stars experience and sure that we would love to do it again in the difference season. The hotels, Best Western (Calgary) n Canalta (Banff) are clean and comfortable. However, the hotel located in Jesper was one of the worst hotel I ever experienced. The mattress has not support at all!! I only had a three hours sleep that night and my whole back was painful the next day!! If Weststar could help their customers to select a better hotel, the experience definitely will be more enjoyable! Thanks!

On their bulletin board they need to put the postings up in both English and in their home language other than that when I went in there were great with service but just said it would be nice and because I go there early on Sundays in to that mall where they're located I would like to see the travel specials advertising both languages

I had an amazing time with time the first time and I would rate them a 5-star service hands down. But then the second travel experience with them was totally ruined by the unprofessional driver/lead. Combining with the messed up schedule made by the company and the driver's bad temper and unsympathetic personality, I was not impressed. It's no doubt that Westart Travel is still too young in the industry, if you're looking for an experienced and educative tour company this is not an ideal one for you.

We just finished the Fairmont Experience Banff 4 days tour with Westar Travel.Thanks for Westar, we had such a wonderful trip despite the extreme cold weather (-31°C.) and bad road condition. Shelley picked up us from airport after 10:00 pm at Christmas Eve and helped us to check in to the hotel. Daniel is our first day tour guide, he is very professional and knowledgeable, we learned a lot about rocky mountain from him. Last two days we had John as tour guide, John is very caring and responsible. Since the Banff Gondola was closed due to the bad weather, the Westar arranged other site seeing instead, John asked everyone's concern, and tried very hard to make everyone happy.On the way back to Calgary, we saw Moose and took pictures, and he drop off us at airport around 6:30 which makes a perfect ending. Three Fairmont Hotels are so impressive, especially in cold winter, you have lots indoor time,definitely worth to try this tour. Winnie contact us after the trip and refund us the Gondola ticket fee. Thanks again for all your hard work, we will be back in summer time and Westar is the best and only choice.

This is for their driver only... I guess after reading all the reviews, surely it looks like they have anger issues. What I witnessed was horrific. Bus is going atleast 120km/hr in national park where the speed limit is 90km/hr. He almost hit few different cars before over taking me .. Drink and drive or sleepy head , whatever the reason was , be very careful before booking with these people. Putting stupid drivers on the road on jeopardize everyone's life. I will also post a video on youtube from my dash cam. NOT PROFESSIONAL WHAT SO EVER...
