A nice facility and well located. However, when visiting on the long weekend, parking staff failed to reserve the designated rv parking for trailers and large campers. This left those we were travelling with without a suitable parking spot. There were many designated spots available but they were often filled with smaller vehicles.

We had a quick bathroom stop here before heading out on our cycling adventure. The place was very clean and welcoming. We also went into the visitors centre to ask a couple of questions about the area and we found them very knowledgeable and friendly.

To be honest, I forgot when was the last time I visited the information center, but I did use the washroom besides the center multiple times. Very nice and clean washroom without resorting to out houses along highway 1. Combined with free wifi, it is a heaven for many people. As a bonus, the opening hours of the washroom is longer than the visitor center. Proximity to highway one is yet another bonus. While visiting Canmore is not a necessity, the Canmore washroom should definitely be put on the map :-) Kudos to the Canmore city for this great facility!

It has everything you want in a visitor centre: easy in and out from the highway, spotlessly clean washrooms, and lots of maps and brochures. We didn't want to wait for the staff members who were busy helping people with their complex questions who obviously hadn't checked the web , but were able to take a map and be on our way.

Very friendly staff, very clean toilets, loads of space to park. Only issue is the waste dump for RVs is positioned badly, and there's only one, so the queue to use it takes up a lot of the car park. If you go early/late enough though to avoid most people, you won't have to wait at all. Other than that minor issue, the centre is very good.

As someone very familiar with the area I never stopped here until I had kids and bathroom breaks on road trips became a lot more frequent. To that end this is a good place to stop with large, clean bathrooms. There are a few picnic tables on the grass outside making it a decent place to stop to tire out the kids a little also. The information centre itself has plenty of pamphlets for the surrounding area and all of Alberta.

Stopped to pick up some information about the area, bought a park pass for Banff and used the facilities. Friendly staff, clean and stocked facilities and plenty of information. Free onsite parking and spectacular views.

Wi-fi available and a great place to stretch your legs with a walk. Restaurants and biking trails right there as well. Views at the stop or on the walking/biking trail are pretty great.

I was turned away from the visitor center as I was driving a budget rental truck. I was told the center was for buses and RV’s only. Very unfriendly greeting. I was only stopping for a quick break and use the washroom. Not the welcoming expected in Canmore. Brad
