My wife and I had a great time learning about the park area. It was our first time snowshoeing and will definitely not be the last! Joel and Nadine did a good job of answering all our questions before, during and after the excursion...way to go!

Nadine led a group of six of us old-timers from Colorado and Tennessee on a hike to Lake Annette on Thursday, August 15th. She was fantastic!! We received animated and informative lectures on geology, flowers, pollination, birds, squirrels, weather, you name it. A most enjoyable day. We can't say enough good things about her range of knowledge and enthusiasm.

It was a very good experience. My 10 year old son enjoyed this experience so much. Joel was very attentive to my son's questions, he was patient and adjust to our pace since we are beginner hikers. We learned so much and enjoyed the stories Joel shared with us. We get to experience eating some wild plants too. He is very knowledgable and I felt safe the whole time. We really enjoyed it. I am so happy I did it.

oel took us on a wonderful snowshoeing trip through the woods. He's very knowledgeable and passionate about the mountain environment and all the amazing creatures that live there. Our future experiences in this wonderful place will be all the richer for what we learned on our outing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I booked a tour with Joel and Nadine as part of a birthday surprise trip, and what a fascinating and memorable surprise it was! We went out into the woods and made our way through the stunning, snow-covered scenery while being wonderfully introduced to snowshoeing, which we consequently want to give another try soon! Joel has been a perfect and contagiously enthuastic nature guide for us, who enjoyed to share what seemed like only a tiny fraction of his knowledge about wildlife and flora in the Rockies. Even the self-made snacks were absolutely fantastic, so that he happily sent us the recipe together with some photos after the tour. There is so much more to see and learn that we hope to meet again some time!

I did not go on the great experience of this Nature hike etc But I did stopp at the lake to explore and do some trail walking myself. I do not speak for this couple in the photo as I don't know them and they seemed to be partaking in the activities the lake had to offer. I was hoping they'd see there photo. As I thought it was a excellent quick snap. But thank you for such positive feedback!

We stayed at the Baker Creek Resort and joined Joel's show "Best of the Canadian Rockies". It was very entertaining and we learned a lot about the area and the history behind. We are very interested in doing tours with Joel the next time we will visit Canada. Thank's for this great evening, Joel!

We went for a three hour snowshoe with Great Divide Day Hikes over Christmas break, and had an amazing time. Our guide Nadine was upbeat, fun, and incredibly knowledgeable. Easy enough for beginners, but enough of a workout to feel accomplished afterwards! Our entire group of 6 had the same incredible experience, and the homemade powerbars and hot chocolate were great. I highly recommend Great Divide to anyone looking for a spectacular outdoor experience!

Joel took us on a private guided hike , to Bow Glacier Falls . We are unfit and middle aged ! He was wonderful at judging our level of expertise (or lack thereof ! ) . He is knowledgeable about the environment , and delivers the right mix of exercise and information . This wasn’t our first experience with him , and we won’t think of hiring any other guide . He is trustworthy , and meticulous in arranging things . We do front country hikes on our own , but this kind of hike makes for a completely difference experience ! Treat yourself . Joel was generous enough to do our hike for free ( being health care people) : beyond stand-up . Classy guy !

Our family did a guided hike with Joel to Lake Annette, and we all loved it. At the start of the hike he asked us a few questions about our interests, and then did a fantastic job personalizing information he shared throughout the hike [and he has a great memory!!] Joel is a wealth of interesting nature knowledge [ and we liked his sense of humor]. We would do it again without hesitation. Dave

Joel was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating throughout our full day hike. We were incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to participate in this adventure and it’s hard to believe this was real life!
