Overall I had a pleasant interaction with Gold Mountain Travel. The person working is quite blunt and not very friendly but they got the job done no problem.
They are so friendly and willing to help. They even gave me all my options to save me money! I really appreciated their customer service and would reccomend them for anyone headed to China and needing a Visa! They were way more pleasant than our representatives at the passport office! Great place and easy!
Great people to deal with!
Very helpful staff. Could save the long travel to Calgary.
I was referred to them by a friend, and they provided excellent service.
Their service is far from exceptional let alone satisfactory. I filed my application through this agency but soon after experiencing their poor customer service decided to file my partner's Visa at a location inside the HUB Mall. Their service was way better by far AND his visa came before mine. I filed mine a week before he did.. I definitely recommend this place if you want garbage service.
Very helpful group there got my visa and they sent my passport to me at work very helpful Thanks
This company provides authentication services, which is sometimes a prerequisite for a Chinese visa and also translation services.
Worst services ever. The guy I met was kind of indifferent to my inquires. He had its your problem kind of attitude.
Very kind individuals. Helpful for getting documents required for travel to China.
Thank you for such a great professional service. I had a very short turn around time to get a Chinese Visa and I found the staff very knowledgeable, helpful and reassuring that I would obtain it in time. To have help completing the form correctly the first time when under such a short time frame was great. I highly recommend this business if you need guidance on going through the proper protocol. (Translated) I will not use their service again, and I do not recommend anyone to use their service. I paid $ 180 for an useless document that they issued and they refused to pay me back or issue me a new document. So, I am a Chinese and I had a property in China that I would need to sell. I didn't have time to travel back so I decided to go to Gold Mountain and issued a Letter of Authorization to authorize my dad to sell the property for me. I called first and the lady called Jessica said they had this type of service. She told me to download a form from their website and send it back to her for her to review. So I did. She told me everything seemed fine and wondered whether I could go in for an appointment. So I did. I showed up on time but I had to waited for more than 20 mins. It was fine. I wasn't very happy about it but it was fine. So I met the lawyer (who is actually the owner as well), and she looked at my things briefly. And said things will be sent to Calgary and I should hear back from them soon. Soon I got my document. I paid $ 180 in cash and waited for 2 weeks. Got in couriered back to China for another $ 50. However, my dad said the document was in a wrong format and asked me whether I can issue the right one again . I was shocked! I emailed this company again right away. I didn't hear anything back. I emailed again the next day. Jessica called me. I explained to her situation that I downloaded this form from their website and filled that in but it wasn't right . She said to me "Different places in China have different requirements regarding the way that the document needs to be issued. It was your responsibility to check with your local organization. And you should know that." Wow ... So okay. 1 ) How am I supposed to know that? Is that a common knowledge? I do not have properties ALL OVER China so I would never know different places needs different documents! 2) Apparently, you are the professional and you have the knowledge. Don ' t you think you should let me know? 3) You told me to download the form and fill it in for you to review and I literally followed what I was told to do. Now it's my fault? Then she said "It's definitely not possible to process a refund because we also paid to process your document. Like we sent it to Calgary for you and got it sent back, yada yada." What a great reason, right? The solution that she offered is that "Originally, we will need to charge you $ 180 again to process it for you again, however, we have sympathy and we can charge you just $ 100." What a great solution! Told the wrong information to the customer and messed up the document, just charge the customer again and fix the document! Impressive! Brilliant! That is definitely a good way to keep making money! Eventually, I got nothing back but wasted a few weeks and a few hundreds. AVOID THIS PLACE! I will never use their services again, and I don't recommend anyone to use their services. Because I have a set of real estate in China to sell, but I can't return to China in the near future, so I plan to go to them to make a real estate notarization, and entrust my dad to help me deal with real estate transactions. First of all, I made a phone call. On the phone, I confirmed with a person named Jessica, who provided this service ($ 180). She asked me to go to their official website, there was a power of attorney template, printed the power of attorney, filled it out and sent it back to her for inspection. So as she said, I downloaded it on their official website, filled it out, and sent it back. She also saw that it was okay, so I asked a lawyer to meet. When I met, I arrived on time. The lawyer (that is, the boss) was 20 minutes late. It didn't matter. I thought it wouldn't matter as long as it could be done in the end. Just 5 minutes after seeing the lawyer, she glanced at my credentials, and then I went back and waited. Two weeks later, the documents were available, and I spent $ 50 to mail them back. When my dad took it to the real estate bureau, the real estate bureau said that the format was wrong. If it didn't work, let me make another copy. I emailed her and was ignored first. I sent it the next day, and that Jessica called me back. After I told her things, her first sentence was like this: "First of all, there are so many places in the country, every place must be different. You should have known this, and our website The template is for reference only, this is definitely your own responsibility. The refund is definitely not possible, because you see, our provincial certification has done it, we mail the information to calgary, and mail it back, all money? " As soon as I heard it, the whole person was blind. 1) I only have one property, and I never knew that the requirements for power of attorney are different in every part of the country. This is not common sense. How many people here are naturally aware of the news that the National Real Estate Bureau has different requirements for notarization formats? 2) Fill in according to your template, if you ca n’t use it, can you say it is “for reference only”? What you said clearly at the beginning, I must have filled in myself and went to the local area to ask clearly. You are a professional, don't you say, I think I "must have known?" 3) The documents I have done are wrong or wrong. How much do you spend on documents has nothing to do with me, does this constitute a causal relationship? Why did you spend money on documents and did not refund me if you did something wrong? In the end, the solution they came up with was “for sympathy” and you could make me another $ 100. Note, it is "out of compassion"! It's not their responsibility at all! You see, tell the customer the wrong information, collect the money and make the wrong file, and then you can collect the money and do it again! Isn't it great? Thank you so much! That is definitely a good way to keep making money! Eventually, I got nothing back but wasted a few weeks and a few hundreds. AVOID THIS PLACE!
