The people were friendly & the animals were great. However, the price is over priced for what they had set up with the animals. The advertisement made it sound like there was a lot of baby animals to see with lots of things to do with the kids. However, there was just a couple small areas with a few animals and that's it. I don't feel $30 admission was worth that price. Perhaps $20.

I was boarding my horse here and had him tested for Acepromazine as one of the riders had mentioned that they overheard a conversation about my horse being given ace. This would have happened without my consent or knowledge. He tested positive for having Acepromazine in his system.

Was not impressed at all. Upon arrival my family and I saw that both of the calves were severely underweight, going further in, we found that the other animals had 0 shaded areas, high temperature today was over 25°C and a young goat (possibly a pygmy goat), was sitting in a corner hyperventilating. Even further in was a Llama, laying on its side, twitching, no one gave it any notice or attention. The horse's hooves were splitting and uncared for, one was even tied up for the entire duration of our visit (3 hours) on a short lead, in direct sunlight, with no water. The horses and ponies were all made to walk in small circles of course with people riding on them, as is normal for the situation, but were only given breaks when their bodies had become so stiff and sore that they began to have severe limping. I will not be returning, and I will be filing a formal complaint with the humane society for mistreatment and neglect of proper care and housing for the animals.

Very well organized, lots of employees all of them were either very helpful or looking after the animals, personally witnessed workers watering or feeding the small animals on this hot day, did not feel that the animals were being mistreated or abused. The prices were not overly High considering what was available to do, there could have been more activities but I did not feel that $30 for 4 people was overly excessive considering almost any other activity you go to do costs much more. My daughter loved it and everyone was very friendly and accommodating I don't see why everyone else is complaining. I guess some people are just not so easy to please.

Fantastic place to ride. I started bringing my three girls up three years ago. They were all shy and did not have a lot of confidence in themselves. They are now all teenagers and beautiful thoughtful girls who are confident in themselves. Coach Roy is fantastic he is able to make you feel confident in all situations. He helps you to feel confident in yourself and abilities. He makes you feel like someone. Flying Cross Ranch is a wonderful place with a wonderful community. Thanks.

Five Star event for sure! My family had a wonderful weekend at the Baby Animal Event and in answer to one of the reviews posted the animals were healthy and very well cared for. Water pails were refilled constantly including the buckets at both the horse and pony rides. There were workers dedicated to this sole responsibility...I watched them going back and forth all day. There were canopies within the petting zoo and ponies and horses traded off regularly during the rides. I felt the Flying Cross Ranch staff showed excellent care and concern towards their animals. The fact that the event was only 4 hours duration each day is another example of how they dealt with the hot days. The admission for the events were extremely reasonable and it was a wonderful teaching experience for my kids. I highly recommend this event to any and all and hope they host many more!!!! It's unfortunate when people choose to post uneducated and ill formed reviews.

Poor quality of professionalism. They didn't communicate anything unless we asked. The children found the 'petting zoo', they didn't direct us there. Very expensive for birthday parties, and they don't use full size horses. They didn't enforce bike helmets or close toe shoes. They didn't ask for signed waivers either (they said it was required for riding). I was very embarrassed by the whole experience, we had parents of all the children we invited and I felt like we came to someone's friend's farm for a favor. Except less welcoming and WAY more expensive than what is provided for 'service'. UPDATE: Flying Cross Ranch acknowledged this and reimbursed us the money. I am incredibly thankful for this.

I took my grandkids to the most recent event put on by the Flying Cross Ranch. I must say it was a great day. There is not too many places like this locally where you are invited to someone’s farm to have the full experience. The staff were excellent and knowledgeable. The day was quite hot out however, all the animals had water and food in their area. I am not saying I am an expert, but I farmed with my husband for many years prior to retiring, and not one of the animals at Flying Cross Ranch seemed in distress, abused, mistreated or suffered from malnutrition. In fact, the staff were excellent at ensuring the safety off all the animals that we were able to experience that day. After reading a few of the comments on here, I must note. Please everyone do yourselves a favor and visit a farm or ranch, take a drive to the country, have a look for yourself. Don’t assume you know what farm life is like until you had an opportunity to see if first hand. Thank you for opening up your doors so my grandkids could have this great experience. We will be back in a heartbeat!

Recently attended Baby Animal Days with my family, what a great event! Lots to see and do, my kids didn't want to go home! I appreciated the ranch staff supervising the small animals, and the care the horses and petting zoo animals received. I will definitely be back!

I was browsing this website as after recently attended the baby days and falling in love with pickles the goat. My crew is interested in riding lessons. I took my 4 nieces (teens) and my two, two year olds. I cost me $45 plus pony rides. I have taken them to many different events like this as they are want to be farmers (love the horses) and I have easily spent well over $250 for a day out. We spent all day there and had a blast, even got an ice cream sandwich. I really had to laugh when I saw the comment about the lama lying down and twitching. Even I know that when they are hot and tired they will lay down and as for the twitching that is how they remove flies from there body. They definitely had lots of water and food and they are outdoor animals. Thanks Flying Cross Ranch for putting on such a great event. I guess there is no pleasing everyone. I will be contacting you soon to inquire about riding lessons for my crew.
