Just finished white water rafting with these guys from their location next to the Stoney Nakoda Casino in Kananaskis, and had a great time! Steve and his coworkers were all very friendly, organized, informative, and had a good sense of humor. We had Steve as our guide in our raft, and he was awesome! He was great at leading us in the raft, had lots of information about the things we saw around us, and was absolutely hilarious throughout the entire day. Would definitely recommend this to anyone young & old as it wasn't too intense of rapids, and I will definitely be going back with my wife & kids in the future!

We have done river floats in other areas, so have something to compare this one to. To start off, the guides forgot the life jackets for the kids, and then just joked about it. The kids had to wear an adult life jacket that was not very comfortable for them during the float. Once we were going, there was a terrible smell. Upon looking at a map, which I should have done before booking, I saw it's because we floated where there is waste water. The guide didn't know the names of the mountains, or any interesting things about the area. There were so many people swimming in the river along the way that it detracted from the experience. You also just basically follow beside the high way. I would not do this float again. It is not worth the cost.

Super fun experience! We were with a bachelorette group, split into two different boats because some of us (me) were a bit nervous and some more adventurous. They made sure everyone was well-briefed on safety and how to stay in the boat and we had a great time paddling and joking around. I think our guide was Ben (Scottish guy), thanks for an awesome trip!

All I can say is wow! This is the first time my wife and I have ever done this and in I'm glad we went with Canadian Rockies Rafting. We were greeted in the morning by all the guides, then given the instructions by Scott (and we were lucky enough to also have him as our river guide). Scott was amazing, kept us entertained through the whole rafting experience. Also told us about all the cool things that had happened and gone on throughout the canyon as we went down the river. We will definitely be booking another run here again, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to go white water rafting! Thanks Scott for a great day, the whole group appreciated having you in the boat with us! My wife was a little leary about going rafting, but didn't feel unsafe once!

Horse shoe cannon was an excellent white water rafting adventure. James was a skiled guide and went the extra mile to make sure everyone had a great time and pointed out scenes along the way from the movie, "The Revenant". Pedro, our bus drive, made the trip out to the river fun and enjoyable as well. I would highly recommend for a couple or family outting.

Well I want to say upfront the staff at CRR are awesome!! Jonas was incredible with his firsthand knowledge of the area, which is Stoney land! Our guide Liam was amazing. We did Horseshoe Canyon, but we were disappointed in the trip. We went rafting 20yrs ago in Golden on the Kicking Horse River & as far as "white water" & excitement go, it was a LOT better. This trip had 3 big waves, nothing that scary & lasted 30 seconds at most. We then spent an hour at the cliff jumping spot & basically waited for 40+ people to jump off a cliff, & there was 2 other rafting companies there as well. We didn't book a cliff jumping tour, I know they state it, but honestly wasn't expecting that & it was the bulk of the tour. I think we spent 20-30min on the river & after the cliff jumping, there was 2 more little drops with a splash of water & then we floated to the end. The scenery is beautiful, staff fun, knowledgeable & enjoyable....but it's a professional float & not much of a "white water" exciting trip.

Extremely disappointing river run. Huge waste of money. 1.5hr of the experience is waiting for people to cliff jump. The actual River you go on is slow and boring. We paid money thinking the river would be even slightly exciting, it wasn't. There were 3 small areas that had "rapids". Don't waste your money on this river. It ain't it chief

The Driver who pick us in Banff scold me at front of the other Passengers Because he said I am late, emphasizing showing that he is so Angry becuae I am late , felt so embarassed that time, I came exactly 1:31 pm let say i am 1 minute late according to My Phone Clock, the stiry is, He pick us up early in Caribou Lodge at approximately 12:15 to 12;30pm and we aarrive in Canmore like 12:40 to 45 , and Give us instruction to register to your office at Canmore and told us to come back at 1:30 pm, I am sure Im not mistaken from wha i Heard, because I ask and double check it with my co-guest that time ( family from London) , now after scolding me and Ifelt Embarace , we just stop another 20 minutes because he is waiting for the 2 of The Girls who bouth beers, WAIT A MINUTE he embarassed me and she let this Girls to buys beers with a happy face and and big smile in his Face but me 1 minute ,,, 1 minute ,,hhmmmm how do you called that Guy--- Ferbert? #2, arrangements of boats, I am raising my hand that I am alone? no one giving attention, all of the guide are busy with the group of Ladies, again strtike 2(felt so embarassed again Im like a lost child looking for a dad or mom, felt so Outcast that time, thank god the family from london told to one of the guide that I was with them , turns out i got a team , the driver going back to the Banff is the best, driver ever i experienced in this line of service, Yes not my first time it is my 4th time, 1st time with yur company, the Guide is very good two thumbs up Salute, Picture are so expensive and the resolution is not that high in short not worthed you guys need to upgrade your Camera, good resolution for the regulkar shot but not good if you zoom it a little bit, How can I promote you guys with that kind of Picture when I post it to my Facebook? maybe this what I get because according to my secretary is just a promo and I only paid 50% ,in that case i give you that, because it is 50% off ill give you guys 2 stars be cause i felt so Discriminated and embarassed, you can ask the opinion of the other people who saw that situation , anyway on the positive side still thank you for the experince, and i know how to enjoy so i still enjoy the trip,Very Good Job by the Guide in my team, very good 5 star driver going home,

My group and I went on the rafting tour & absolutely loved it. We tried the beginners one which was super fun. 10/10 would book with them again to try the horseshoe canyon. Robyn & Scott were super awesome guides (Scott even played it off super cool when he back flipped off the raft by accident), and even though we didn't get to see any bears this time, our group still had a blast. Absolutely terrible service. I wish there was a negative star. I wanted to book for 10 people for a stagette. I started booking back in February since they were on winter hours no one was in the office so I booked online. A few weeks before the weekend of the stagette I had my final number and wanted to decrease my original reservation to 7 people. After phoning, emailing and contacting on every social media site I was finally able to get a hold of person over the phone to decrease my reservation after the phone call I get the email confirmation back saying my whole trip was canceled. I immediately phoned back to get this corrected and I got a apology that was a mistake. After receiving the confirmation to decrease my booking from 10 to 7 people it was 2 weeks before the event. I noticed my credit card bill was very high. After looking through my transaction I noticed I never received the initial credit for the decrease in the reservation and they then CHARGED ME FOR and addition 7 people. After phoning multiple times again and going onto their website to find a promotion for “ early season booking for 40 % “ which I did not receive. Myself, and my sister both tried to get ahold of them from various phones and social media site which multiple emails. Once we finally got ahold of someone after about 30 phone calls, and 15 emails. The stated that they were aware they owned me a credit, but it just so happen that their debit machine was down and they wouldn’t honour the 40 % early season booking discount cause it was not mentioned in the initial payment !!! They weren’t answering their phones !!! After all this we just decided to cancel all together. It took 2 separate transactions and a etransfer all that which did not equal any of the payments I made. And it just so happened they got their debit machine working once I put up a stink about getting my credit back now.

Amazing experience! I’ve been to banff multiple times but this is probably the most fun we had! We originally sign up for horseshoe canyon but since the water level is too high, they moved us to Kananaskis river instead. They followed all the covid protocol and we get our own raft for our group. Wetsuits, jacket, shoes and photographer (thank you Tia for the great pictures!!!) are provided! We started our day with safety briefing by James - he went through all the safety, tricks, what to expect on the river and he paired us up with our appropriate wetsuit size (right on! Fits super tight). After we geared up, Pete drove us to the river and we’ll get our first chance of photo op by the river. We were guided by Hannah and Brandon throughout our rafting experience. Exceptional energy and they shared lots of different suggestions on what to do next in town. Brandon did an excellent throw of rope to save our friend when she fell down to the river! We felt safe and they took care of us really well throughout our journey in the river! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Experience!

Due to weather and water we had to change routed last minute. Totally not the companies fault as they have your safety in their best interest. The alternative route was still fun but wished we could have done the other one but again The company cannot control the weather. The staff were excellent and very accommodating to everyone. Felt extremely safe and definitely looking forward to go again to try the other route!

Big shout out to the entire Canadian Rockies Rafting staff for such an amazing day yesterday!! Was our first time together as a group, and the whole set up from the meeting site, to the care the staff takes to ensure you are fitted properly, and go over the safety rules while maintaining Covid protocols was impressive! Our Guide Sam, was top notch in giving us the best possible experience, and his genuine demeanor provides great customer service. We had a full raft flip, and Sam was on top of the raft, and had it flipped back over and had us back in the boat in about a minute, and it was such a fun experience!! Truly professional service, and we will be recommending this company to anyone who is interested in rafting:)

I would not recommend this company. They cancelled on my group the morning of our raft. I was lucky enough to find another company that could accommodate us. I learned from a few locals that this was not an isolated occurrence. If you book with them be prepared that they might cancel the day of your raft.

We did the Kananaskis river rafting trip with them. The guide kept speaking to the other guests in Italian which we felt was a little rude! The other guests spoke and understood English very well. The experience itself was quite enjoyable. Some of the views were breathtaking! I don't know how to swim so I'm a little scared of being around water, but I was comfortable the entire duration. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Great inexpensive way to see the true beauty that the bow river and Canmore have to offer. Matt the guide does an awesome job of engaging the group and sharing the history and folklore of the Mountains and geography of the bow river. A great trip for adults and children who want to experience Canmores piteresque scenery in an extremely interactive way. The float tour was probably the most relaxing and informative (and cheapests $) hour we had in Canmore. I highly recommend this trip to anyone - especially those with young children who want to see the true beauty of the Canadian Rockies first hand. You will not be disappointed.
