We enjoyed the Banff Springs Hotel experience this past weekend. Karen was a lovely and knowledgeable guide. Hearing about the history of the hotel while enjoying various dishes made with mostly Alberta-sourced and grown ingredients was a real treat. It was a great way to experience some of the many restaurants in the hotel. We can’t wait to go back and eat more!

What a special tour at the Fairmont Banff-Springs! Paula was our food guide and we couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable, friendly person to spend 2 hours with! I consider myself a foodie but there were things on this tour that I had never tried! Full of adventure of samples, and wines! Lots of food!! The chefs came to the table & shared their knowledge, passion with us! Money well spent. A must!! I was excited to hear they have other tours also... planning our next trip to Alberta.

I have ordered multiple food and chocolate care packages from Alberta Food Tours. Those that were shipped were efficiently done and quickly received. Those I picked up were easy to arrange and the owner was very gracious. I have used the food packages for both Christmas gifts and house-warming gifts. All were well received and everyone enjoyed the products included. I have used the chocolate packages for both Valentine's Day gifts and for retirement gifts. Everyone loved the variety of chocolate included - I even received a call from one recipient who wanted to know where I got them from so he could order more packages for his own gift giving! Both packages are great value for money and I will certainly be buying more in the future. The fact that all products are locally sourced is a definite bonus in my mind. Great job Alberta Food Tours!!

I have taken several tours and Alberta Food Tours provides the most exceptional experience for any foodie. The guides are all professional and tell amazing stories about the history, culture of the area. I highly recommend taking a food tour as it's the best way to discover a city's culture - through its food.

I booked a "Downtown Delights" Tour for a work team-building activity and what a joy this tour was! Alberta Food Tours CEO Karen Anderson came up from Calgary to guide us and we had the pleasure of listening to her great stories about Alberta food, the restaurateurs, and downtown Edmonton's history. Every restaurant on the trip served great food and our team walked away in a cloud of satisfaction. We're already recommending the places we tried to our colleagues. Simone gave us an informative tour of the downtown area. Sampled lots of "local" ingredients at 6 different stops. Got to talk with owners, chefs, and sous chefs- all passionate and knowledgeable. Our schedule didn't allow us to select the farmers' market version, but enjoyable nonetheless. A great way to get "behind the scenes". How can anything that includes bacon AND chocolate be bad??

My husband and I signed up for this as a group of two. As we followed instructions to start we had an issue with our password. We called and the issue was immediately addressed and we were on our way. It was an excellent way to learn about Kensington and visit shops we may not have otherwise visited. It's a great way to walk as well. An excellent activity for couples and families. Definitely would recommend!

My work decided to go on the 17th Avenue food tour that was hosted by Karen as a team building summer event. 6 stops with food and beverages at each stop had us all stuffed full at the end of the night! This tour is awesome for something unique and different. It is truly a unique experience and you learn so much in such a short period of time! This tour had our entire team laughing, asking questions, connecting, and wanting more. We will definitely be back for more and i would highly recommend!

Enjoyed the "Eat the Castle" tour at the Banff Springs, hosted by Karen, in October of 2020. This was a unique, memorable experience and a fantastic way to learn about the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and about Alberta's food scene. We moved from dining area to dining area, within the resort, where we enjoyed a small portion of each venue's signature dish and drink. Each time the food and drink was introduced by the chef, and Karen would give some history and context of the venue and the offerings. As a frequent traveller and visitor of the Banff Springs I thought I knew a lot about it already, but I was so wrong... there were so many interesting things I didn't know. It was fun, engaging, delicious and unique and I can't wait to host people on this tour in the future. Karen is great and a good judge of the group. The CoVid precautions made us all feel safe. This calibre of this tour is par with some of the best we've ever done while travelling the world. HIGHLY recommend!
