(Translated) It is a place which I visited during the Christmas market with articles from completely organic and artisanal producers in the area. There were things from food like maple candy, cookies or popcorn of different flavors to handmade crafts such as bags, bracelets or clothing as well as jewelry and art pieces such as cards. It is actually a community center for local people that serves to create the social fabric where people know the people around them and can work together for their community.

Caveat: My rating is purely for the museum aspect of the complex. This is actually part museum, part conference center, part community center. (I think?) The exhibits are well put together, and do shine a different light upon history - which is excellently done. What I found disappointing was that there was basically one medium-length hallway of good exhibits, and then a handful of small displays of artifacts and information (text & pictures) in the lobby. It's definitely worth a visit, but please don't expect to spend more than a couple-few hours there at most.

Wanted more time to explore and will be making a return trip next summer. Friendly staff, wonderful experiences. Would recommend everyone take the time and spend the week, for the cultural exposure alone. Then there is all that marvelous outdoor activities, with history galore!

See the results of the modern reconciliation process and self government. Guided tours invite visitors into a conversation about how we can recognize the hurts of the past (as well as present issues such as missing and murdered indigenous women and girls) and move forward together. Inspiring! It is great to see indigenous youth leading the way!

We took a free tour under official Canadian Youth Council Member Ashley Cummings. She was so lovely and is deeply connected to the indigenous people of Canada. She explained to us about how they survived. Sustainable fur trapping. And the importance of the first nations and idgenious tribes becoming self governing, its importance as well as the gloomy indian act. Thanks Kwanlin Dun for your important work in the yukon, your continued effort and Ashley for her amazing contributions. We will follow you on the youth council :)

I came to the winter market here which was indoor, warm and had controlled entry due to COVID-19. I felt really comfortable and at ease here. They have really nice and clean washrooms and hand sanitizers ready for use anytime. The items they sell were local produced honey, handicrafts, art etc. It's a pretty nice place to shop and support local businesses especially during such difficult times. Apparently this is a yearly affair so stay tuned during each Christmas period and it lasts for 12 days if I didn't remember wrongly. Some of the items are really popular and run out really fast so if you see something you like, don't hesitate. All in all the place is clean, staff really friendly and not rude. Some places have staff who hate their job absolutely and don't bother to make life for visitors. When you enter, the staff do greet you and check that you put on your masks properly (which is really important to me during such a difficult and dangerous pandemic period). Not totally my kind of place to visit, but all in all the experience is really good, 4 stars is well deserved.

Came here as a visitor just to have a look. Ended up getting a guided tour from a lovely individual who graciously shared her culture and the history of her people and the land. Also had some very yummy fresh bannock I wish I had come here earlier during my trip to Whitehorse, instead of on the last day when we were in a rush to leave. Absolutely loved the experience!

Not what I expected. I thought it would have more history, like a museum, it's more like a meeting place you can book out with groovy memorabilia from the past- not taking away from the history or displays there is just thought there'd be more because the building is called a cultural centre is all. Worth a gander though.
