Facility is dirty and falling apart. School website is poorly designed and not user friendly at all. Most teachers are nice and knowledgeable, but the conditions of the classrooms and resources take away from your learning experience. Would not reccomend.

Lakehead University is "Exceptional Unconventional" in the sense that they don't do ANYTHING in the manner that it should be done. Cheating is ignored at Lakehead, I have heard of many students being caught on exams and faced NO PUNISHMENT AT ALL! One prof even told me that his Dean said to make sure to keep students here so the university can get the tuition money. The university does not have enough resources or quality professors to run some of it programs, example Civil Engineering. If you read this please listen and go to a different university where you can get an education you can be proud of.

The university has made it a priority to engage and promote the needs and strengths of the First Nation communities in the Northwestern part of the province of Ontario. This goes a long way to opening the eyes and minds of those who attend Lakehead University.

Lakehead University has over 300 experienced faculty members. Each member is an expert in their field and offers valuable knowledge and insights to students. The student-to-faculty ratio is 15:1 in the Thunder Bay Campus and 13:1 in the Orillia campus. Hence, students and teachers get to know each other well.Lakehead University has around 7600 students enrolled with it. Lakehead is home to over 1500 international students from 70 nations worldwide. It offers several support services to students, including academic advice, health and counseling, tutoring, visa and immigration advice, financial aid, etc.

This part of Thunder Bay is a beautiful scenic area which is home to Lakehead University Campus.. This is a Internationally recognized university which offers a wide range of educational opportunities across 10 facilities on 2 campuses.. Quiet for a nice walk also. you can check out the home of Northern Ontario school of Medicine and the Bora Laskin Law faculties of Law. all in all GREAT PLACE!! here in Thunder Bay

It looks like the staff working remotely for student central are busy sleeping in their homes. When ever I call, I am put on hold for almost 2 hours, and when someone finally picks up, they always sound as if I am a bother. When I went to the office, they are just tossing me around. This is the most frustrating thing ever.

Very bad. Don't join any course there. You can't complete your studies with in specified time. Teaching staff are not co operative. They will fool you in the exam. Don't waste your time and money in this university. Very bad experience
