Went to Confed. college for many years. its constantly growing and is an awesome environment to learn in. The student union does an excellent job involving everyone in extra curricular activities as well. Lunch room is huge and library has quiet zones and a large computer lab. High tech labs and great teachers to teach a range of subjects.

The only college in ThunderBay other than the Lakehead University. The college offers most of the engineering, management, medical and other courses. Good college. No much facilities like a university. Most of the students are international students and mainly Indians. Student friendly campus.

Great college. Staff's are polite and friendly. It's a good college for international students. International office is very active. You can get your question answered very quickly. They respond very quickly. Main building is known as Shuniah Building. Most of the offices are here. Classes are conducted in different buildings such as Shuniah, MacIntyre. Food Court is managed by Sodexo. You can get quality food. But it's a bit expensive. ( International students, cook your own food) College provides accommodation in Sibley Residence. It's a good one. But you can't cook food here. Students can stay here temporary in the first weeks and can opt to stay here permanently. A new wellness center is opened recently. It's a very good gym. It's free for students.

It's alright if you choose the right program, otherwise you're going to spend years after grad trying to build skills for a job market that doesn't exist. Staff would gratefully answer questions initially when you were applying, but after you were in, they didn't seem to pay any mind as you were just another body. Cafeteria chili was good, pasta bar is my favourite, and you could avoid the Tim Hortons lineup by going to the Starbucks decanters on the side -- a lifesaver if you needed to get back to class quickly, except when roll-up the rim is on. Always do roll-up the rim. Free coffee is a lifesaver some days.

Faculty teachers and department heads with clinical experience are also good. In the case of dental clinic, it has been renovated around 2013-2014. We have also extended our accreditation certification in 2019. Although, the professors were good, but the management in the college is worst. In this pandemic situation where everyone was supporting each other, this college didn't even return a single Penny to the students who didn't use any of their facilities, especially the international students who come here and give away 3 times more fees compared to the local student. They are here just for business.

The teachers you could tell really cared about us students and the knowledge they were instilling on our minds I can’t wait to head back to this campus Even the online studies are accessible and full of motivated students and teachers. Please if you are considering the Computer Programming course, find somewhere else. The teachers while majority are very good, often switch subjects and some are better than others. However if you land with a terrible teacher for a core course, you'll be in big trouble. I have been struggling with the teachers not emailing back when you have questions & concerns, some don't even post marks until the final date they have to have them in. When you complain about teachers and their lack of doing their jobs you are then given the run around by 10 different people, to the point you get so frustrated you just give up. If you are a women, goodluck. I wont be returning for second year, I will not waste my money on teachers that don't care for my education, I will find a bootcamp instead, as to work at the top companies in the world, this course is not required. please speak to previous students, while the entire program has some amazing courses and information to learn, it's unfortunate they have such terrible teachers and terrible management that complaints are basically shelved. terrible school, terrible business.
