They have been doing this for a long time and it shows. The books are included and they are great, my level of confidence, knowledge of medical terms, note taking skills and and fluency have increased 10 fold. The course is detailed so detailed that I was even able to self diagnose a melanoma thanks to their lessons, so they possibly saved my life as well. If you are seriously looking to become a medical interpreter look no further. They cover so many medical scenarios, vocabulary, they really show you what it’s like being in the medical environment specially for those without any experience and also you benefit from the experience of others as well. If you are bilingual this is a very rewording way to get paid for your skills by helping others as well. They bring an excellent balance Professionalism, value and knowledge. Would very highly recommend!

I have been pursuing education and credentials of becoming a medical interpreter. Upon conducting research on the NBCMI and IMIA websites, I came across MiTio as one of the few accredited programs. It offers 60 hours course instead of 40 required by the professional board. The students get more training from the program. The online accessibility as well as self-paced program make it easy for whoever is looking for a career change. Highly recommended for people who is interested in entering the professional medical interpreting field.

I just graduated from MiTio Inc. I get huge help and medical information from the diploma course and will take CMI from MiTio. I was a part-time interpreter before I took the program. The teacher is always kind and help us at any time with a lot of patience, and I have found that 160-hour diploma course is very interesting and helpful for me to find a good full interpreter job. I signed up for the 160-hour MiTio Diploma course in September of 2020. I studied at my own pace and learned as much as I could. It took me one year and six months to complete all of the assignments. I'm proud to say that I have graduated from this 160-hour program. ???? Some of the advantages of the MiTio online interpreting courses are that its courses are self-paced. Thus, the student does not need to attend live classes weekly in order to study or do homework. There are several live practice sessions that students need to attend. However, the schedule which the school provides to attend these is very good. Therefore, I didn't have issues completing my assignments due to time or my own personal schedule. If you choose to join the 160-hour diploma course, I would encourage you to also consider obtaining a national certification (known as NBCMI or CCHI). That's one of my career goals! These two credentials will propel you to become a great medical interpreter. I hope this helps you! Thank you. ????
