I was given a big list to choose from, of which I’ve selected Josef Silny & Associates, Inc. I don’t regret for my selection. Office personnel found to be professional. My evaluation came in within 14 days( must be packed with water proof envelope- it’s rainy season now), I hope authorities will think about it. Parking is ok based on the space( be careful those who has fear of narrow parking space). So many restaurants near by for those who would travel from distance.

Horrible service , all they want is your money, every time you need a copy of your evaluation they run your credit card in 30 seconds, but takes them 10 days to send an email to the university you applied. I keep loosing my applications in every school because my evaluation is never sent on time. They should change that system, a copy by email for an evaluation should be sent in no more than 2 days since is already done.

I had a wonderful experience with JS&A. They have professional staff. The likes of Dianira Leon who helped me with my payment. Thanks to my understanding and ever responsive evaluator, Omar Garcia Garridor (OGG????). I opted for a course by course evaluation and I got the value of my money. The evaluation was error free and they kept to the due date. I will choose Josef Silny and Associates again and again and I will so recommend them to anyone wishing to evaluate documents.

They don't really advice you! They din't tell me that my diploma from high school was not equivalent in US. They did the evaluation without even tell you to charge you, they don't even care if it is worth it for you or not. They want you to pay for as many services as you can even if you don't need it. I will never be back to this place.

I was a bit hesitant with regards to sending my original certificate to Joself Silny and associates, being that I'm from the Caribbean, getting an original copy would be a pain in the neck. However, they were evaluated thanks to Beatriz P. - I was surprised at the research that must have been done in order to give a truthful representation of my credentials- And the original documents received in a timely manner as well as the sealed evaluation report. The customer ser. Rep., Laverne was an absolute darling!!! And responded to my many questions regardless of how nonsensical it may have seemed. Definitely one of their assets!!

Expensive, overcrowded all the time, slow service, they took more than a week to certify a one page document, and charged me more than triple the usual rate, I would not recommend unless absolutely necessary.

I went to their office yesterday frustrated because the documents that had been sent to another company had been lost by the latter. I got there and they were overwhelmed with work, yet Tatiana Restrepo was kind enough to understand my problem and give me some hope. Terrible experience, paid extra for rush service, As of today the document is 8 days late. The USPS Tracking number they provided says "Status Not Available". Difficult to communicate, total lack of professionalism and treat you like you are a burden to them. They won't return your original document unless you pay extra for it. Lost registration deadline because of their delay. Don't recommend at all, any other company would be better them Josef Silny & Associates, Inc.

I’ve been trying to call and reach you but I can’t get through to anyone so hopefully this way I’ll grab someone’s attention. I did my out of the country evaluation in September and I needed the copies sent to colleges I was applying to and that was done on time thank you. My issue however is I requested and paid for another copy to be sent to me but I haven’t received that one and I also paid for my original certificates to be mailed back to me but it has been over a month now and when I call I can’t reach anyone from the number on your website. I need to know what’s going on.

Beware! Do not conduct any business with this company. I had seen other reviews where people were pointing out the excess in surcharges for almost anything (and the company responding by saying that it must charge these things because it is in fact a business). Yes it is a business, a completely bad one. As mentioned, there was a fee for everything, I had to pay a fee just to get my documents back in my hand. There was a fee to pick them up as well. The fees were also completely unreasonable. Secondly, I did not pay for express service, but I had ordered the documents in September and they did not arrive to my recipient until late November, long after the application period had closed. Furthermore, I question whether the evaluation was performed correctly at all. I was not able to view it because you can bet there is a fee to get a personal copy (there is another fee for sending it to the recipient), this exposes how easily this company can scam you out of all your money. Other reviews had pointed out these similar issues, so do yourself a favor of finding another company. I have already warned other international students about this and have been able to discover more reasonable places in the process. And to the company, save yourself the time of offering me any condolences. I am making people realize the reality of the situation, and I if could give negative stars, I most certainly would.

The evaluation was done on a timely manner but the Department of Education never received the copy I requested to be sent. This is very upsetting as I trusted the company and thought it was the most reliable way to get it done. This has cost me not only a two month delay but the extra expenses because of what I paid for that extra copy and for it to be sent plus the copy that I had to send myself. Such an important document should have at least a tracking number that should be provided to customers. I don't think I would recommend it anymore.

Even if the working hours are specified from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, when you get there after 3:00 pm they just say sorry we do no serve any more after 3:00 pm. This is very unprofessional as this is not indicated anywhere and people usually requests work permit to get there for nothing. The lady in the main desktop is very rude when explaining this situation. I hope I can get some other institutions to do this service here in Miami.

Get ready to spend your WHOLE DAY here. I was told I’d wait 30 minutes at the beginning, no problem. I got there at noon and wasn’t called to get help until 3:30……. The lady at the front was extremely rude and had an attitude. They didn’t even actually review any documents they just quote you for a ton of money because they just rob people. Charging ppl $150+ just to ship a paper. Absolutely ridiculous if you can find another place to evaluate something do it. Don’t come here save yourself the time and money

I requested a sealed copy of my foreign credentials evaluation to sent to my college and they asked me to do the evaluation and pay for whole process again coz they don't keep records. This place is a total rip off....

I am glad that I have chosen this company from the list of evaluators provided by the Florida Department of Education. This is the only company that answered my call to inquire about evaluation. I was told to go to their website , which is straight-forward with fees that you will have to incur to obtain the service. I can say , overall, I have an excellent experience from day 1 communicating with Laverne Villahermosa Customer Service representative, John Silny , Director of Customer Service, Mujun Wang, Foreign Credential Evaluator and Kassandra Garcia Asst. Director for Customer Service. If you need an evaluation, do not go too far. This is the firm that you can trust to do the job. This business has done my evaluations in the past with no problem at all, but since Jennifer Gold left and they hired Beatriz Pineda, the service has become horrible. Beatriz do not reply your emails, do not mail your evaluations de way you paid for, and you need to make great number of calls and send many emails until you get your credentials back! If Beatriz Pineda is going to evaluate your credentials, do not bother to pay extra for any special service because she just will not care to read your application and see what you paid for!

Both times I went there was a 15-30 minute wait but it's still better than dealing with a company online and having to send originals in the mail. The pricing for an evaluation is competitive, though I recommend having your documents translated beforehand to save even more. I paid for rush services and everything was delivered on time. No words can describe how much I’m satisfied and pleased with Josef Silny & Associates service. I have been trying to get my degree verified in the U.S since January 2021 with another company and I was very disappointed as they kept rejecting my documents with inconsistent reasons ! , delaying and taking days to be respond to my inquiry without any valid reasons, costing me valuable time ( almost 8 months )and so many dollars for nothing . However with josef silny it took me literally 12 days for my degree to be verified and for the report to be generated and sent to the board I want to obtain. These 12 days included getting my documents filled in my country, shipping through courier service and the actual verification process which was only during less than one business day !. What is unique about this company they do have a very clear instructions for their requirements and on top of that they will assign an evaluator for you whom you can reach easily through email and will keep you updated with the progress of your request. I am so sad to share this review because the first time that I worked with this company it was 5 starts. However, the second time, it has been a really bad experience. First, my original notes were lost, after a moment of suspense, it was found. Thanks God. Later, the transcriptions needed to be sent by email to the college. But, they were not sent, so a couples days later the college wrote me an email that they do not have nothing. Final, the worst of it is that I had just one week to do the registration for the semester. At the end, it was solved at time, but I already felt disappointed for what happened.
