I like the location of the restaurant right on Granville street. I definitely prefer this place over other fast food places as you get a real burger not some sad greasy mess. I would recommend the Canadian breakfast as it is like a real diner breakfast and comes with everything you'd want.

My wife and I went here and found it cleaner, faster, and better than Charlottetown A&W. The Food was much better and they give you more onion rings and they are properly cooked. The root beer is nice and cold and does not go flat in 5 minutes. Anyone wanting to eat here should go and enjoy.... it's worth the trip to Summerside.

It is worth a visit just to see it and while you are there, be sure to get their delicious Teen Burger Combo. And if you like sweet potato fries, upgrade your order! The ice-cold mugs for your Root Beer will top off your great meal.

Positive note: Tried the beyond meat burger. OMG. Super impressed with the quality you would NEVER know. Just tastes like a light burger. I will be back at A&W just for that. Drawbacks: it did not seem busy, but I found myself having to clean off every seat and chair . Floors were quite dirty, not been swept for awhile, maybe days. the team of folks at the counter were great, except for one young girl who was very aggressive. Not holding it against the chain of the store. Nice work.

I had to sit at the wheelchair accessible table because it was the only table in the entire restaurant that wasn't dirty. It wasn't busy and there were staff available who could have cleaned the tables. I can see why your customer service rating machine by the door doesn't work.

always enjoyed the food and service but today a worker named Jan just seemed to be on a mission to bully the other workers, when I got my order i took an order of fries back because it was supposed to be onion rings, the girl who served me said yes your right and tried to fix the issue, then Jan came along and argued with the girl that she needed to see the order receipt and kept pulling up orders that was NOT mine saying no it says fries, meanwhile the girl who served me kept telling her , no she ordered onion rings Jan then loudly tells her that she must have rang it in wrong.. after a few mins, I said can i just please get my rings ? Jan says NO not without paying the difference, the little worker again tells her no she paid for onion rings. I didn't want the little one to have to argue any further so I said well forget it my food is getting cold, a customer behind me said to Jan,, your lucky i already ordered ,Jan looked at her and said why is that, the customer said because your not giving customer service here your being a bully, Jan again said there is a difference in price we aren't just going to give them out.. I went back to my table to eat. a few minutes later over comes Jan and plunks down an order of onion rings with my order receipt saying I found the correct order so here is your onion rings. This lady was rude and just wanted an arguement from who ever she could get to argue with her. I feel bad for the other workers who get stuck working with the Jan person at Summerside A&W !!!

Amazing burger joint! If you’re looking to enjoy a burger that has a minimal carbon footprint - ask them to replace your meat with the beyond meat patty (plant based protein). Tastes amazing! Fries aren’t that great. Pro-tip - skip the fries and head over to McDonald’s across the street for fries instead!

The service was quick and efficient. The employees were very kind. Why a one star rating? The restaurant was disgusting. The floors are covered in a thick layer of grease and you literally slide trying to walk in there. The tables are filthy and garbages were over flowing. The bathroom was so gross I wouldn't use it.

Meal was cold and Purchased a small gravy and it was only half full. Messaged them to tell them what happened and they made me feel like I was looking for something for free which I was not. Just letting them know that they should pay more attention to what they were passing out in the drive thru. I go to this location once a week and I will take my business to another fast food business from now on. Great owners, poor staff. Hope it will change but won't be going back to find out.

The burgers at A&W are by far the best in the business. They take the time to put the burger together right, toasting the but, being careful with the toppings. The beef is a very high quality offering. They have renovated their locations recently which gives a modern but retro feel to their locations. I really enjoy their Root Beer and Onion rings - highly recommend. Their fries and not the greatest in my opinion however they are not bad. A+ will go again!

Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Staff and restaurant is terrific! MUSIC is loud and annoying. Part of A&W's appeal is its connections to great Old rock music. Clientele throughout the day is mostly a generation that would appreciate that, and also a mix of music of various generations. FOOD is better than ever. Only exception is the Root Beer Float.
