Nice place, small, but packed with the history of Revelstoke!

Ano Nimo

An absolute gem! I spent the afternoon absorbing all the rich history contained within this small space. The work that has gone into preserving a history that at times seems to have been at risk of slipping through the cracks of time is truly impressive. Cathy English, the museum curator, is to be commended for her work. As a ski bum, I love ski history, and this was a key component of the museum. The gift shop has a ton of awesome stuff; I ended up dropping a bunch of cash on cool items that will always remind me of my trip here, and this very special place.

A surprisingly impressive, historic collection of local artifacts -well layed out and artistically displayed. Even the building dates back more than a hundred years. The adjacent green space, was a delightful suprise - a beautifully tended garden to sit and pen this review. I wonder if the locals, realize what a civic treasure they secret in their midsts.

Marisa Zed

Great history lesson on revelstoke and BC. Clean and well organized woth easy to follow progression. I liked that it was history on everything with cool well labeled artifacts. Multiple floors where the upstairs had a drawing area to occupy kids. I wish they had replica vintage BC plates for sale. Those were awesome ????

Some sad stories of avalanche victims. In 1910 a disaster claimed the life of a Scotsman at only 48 years of age, he was also the oldest of the 54 fatalities. The staff are very nice. They explained more detailed information on the history of Revelstoke.
