I've been shopping at Rona for many years, I love you guys. I needed a hammer drill for a small job - on of the guys lent one to me. Always someone around to get help from. If their busy I get eye contact and know they'll help we win free. Nothing is ever perfect but when there's an all out effort to make it happen. What's there to say?

Only one guy in the yard, driving a fork lift. Had to flag him down to get yard slip to buy anything from the yard outside. Inside, lots of help, workers hanging out with no one doing anything.

Up until a few months ago I would have given Rona Powell River 5 stars - unfortunately my account that I have had for 25 years was cancelled by the new accounts manager and when I asked why I found their response quite insulting. I have spent a lot of money in that store over the past 25 years renovating 4 homes using that account and was never in arrears. Because of this and the way I was treated, I will now be using our other local building supply store. Shame because the employees of PR Building deserve better... they've always treated me great..

Bought an outside door, door lock and door handle. Excellent service, the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of staff available to answer questions and offer help. Came in early Saturday morning so worked out great. My only issue is it closes at 5 during the weekdays, hard to take off from work (8:30-5) to pick up things here, but small town so understandable.

Special ordered building supplies for a shed here and they kept overpromising and under delivering on timing for weeks on end. This delayed construction significantly and once the supplies arrived they had sent the wrong materials in more sizes than ordered !!! Especially inconvenient when the building location needs to be reached by boat and now multiple cuts need to be made for “custom” metal. What is going on at Rona? Get my CORRECT materials already man!

Didn't have what I needed this time, they have a key cutter but didn't have the blank, walmart did but blew it on two trys, I finally bought a blank from them and made my own with my dremel.

Employees are very rude, no customer service at all. It seems the Management is lacking to motivate employees to be more friendly to promote Business. Employee doesn't even want to provide name and indicate doesn't have time when I can see she is just doesn't want to be interrupted having fum with another employee. I wouldn't recommend buying anything to this business due to the fact that THERE'S NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all!
