Great staff! Wondering how the new ED was hired though. They abruptly changed their hiring process from an open process to a secretive one. No transparency!!!

Hospice Peterborough is a wonderfully supportive environment located in a gorgeous new building on London Street ???? It's main objective is to provide support to individuals living with terminal illness ???? as well as their families. The residential hospice is open 24 hours and the community programs take place from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ( Mon-Fri) ????

Unfortunately my mother spent her last day here. But the staff, nurses, PSW and Doctor were amazing to deal with, very supportive, knowledgeable and made a very difficult time in our lives less stressful. We can't thank them enough for everything they did for my mother and our family.

I cannot think of a more compassionate place for families to come together on this end of life journey with their loved one. The people here are so kind, caring and compassionate. They not only care for the patient, but also for the families and friends who are here to say goodbye to their loved ones and who are going through their own fears and grief. It is also child friendly. All are welcome. The building itself is quiet and calm with privacy for families, meeting rooms and quiet sitting rooms. There is beautiful, soothing artwork throughout the spaces and rooms. They offer small but meaningful comforts to patients, handmade quilts, and warm bubble baths are just two examples of this. There are books to read, coffee, tea and treats for families and warm soup at every lunch. There is a small room for children to colour, sit and play. We were given cots so that our family could all spend the night together in the room. I wish more people knew about hospice and that they do not have to go through such a difficult time on their own. Being here has allowed us the needed help and care so that we can be present with our father as he gets ready to leave this world.

I know first hand the wonderful work Hospice can do for people. This establishment has made a new woman out of me (my old self). They welcome you with smiles, they don't critisize anyone, they listen intently and treat you like a human being who needs help. This is Betty Briegel sharing my great experience with Hospice. Kudos to all the volunteers who make a person smile God Bless Hospice for being there for all . I earnestly recommend you give them a call .... you will be so glad you did

Amazing caring group of people. Very professional and take excellent care of your loved ones when they so desperately need it. Also take care of you and make sure you are happy as best as you can be given the situation. Following covid-19 protocols and keeping everything clean and safe.

They had the coronavirus in front view all the time checking to make sure everybody was safe and the place was spotless. The staff was wonderful and considerate coming in and checking on their patient and their visitors asking if anyone needed water, tea, coffee or muffin. Thats why I gave them a five star
