Comfortable with good value for the money for shot stays at a short notice. Staff is friendly and cooperative.

Nice hotel, staff were hellpful and we were able to move from second floor to first as my wife cannot climb stairs. Great location right next door to McDonalds. Due to staff issues around the pandemic our room had no toilet paper at all. Front desk gave me a roll immediately. Room was fine, beds were comfortable. Our double bed room only had the computer table chair which disappointed my wife. There was no coffeee maker in the room. The complimentary breakfast was sparten but due to the pandemic acceptable. You had to eat in your room and as we had no chairs that made it difficult..

Very expensive for service received. No hot breakfast as advertised. Did provide continental breakfast due to covid but other Comfort Inns are providing hot breakfast. Coffee machine and juice machine didn't work. Did eventually get coffee. Not worth the extra amount of this Comfort Inn compared to others. The positive was that the staff were nice and efficient.

Beds very well used, air conditioner so loud difficult to sleep and very over priced!

The actual comfort inn I had no issues with as I didn't stay there. The Golden griddle where my family ate was my issue. Eggs weren't done well and the food in general wasn't great. Our server was wonderful though which prevented me from giving a 1 star.

Spent three nights. Quiet and clean. Close to many fast food outlets. Hot breakfast included which was waffles, eggs of some type, hash browns, sausages and bacon. Assortment of other foods like hard boiled eggs, yogurts, cereal, oatmeal, breads, pastries and fruits. Juice and weak coffee...coffee was not up to my standards but that's me. Nice view in back of marsh land and can sit under pergola to enjoy. Room had fridge and micro. I appreciated the many power outlets available. Vending machines and an area for children to play safe darts. A few more chairs outside would be nice so can stop stealing from other rooms. Lol $188.00 a night excluding taxes. Comfort and cleanliness as expected from a Comfort Inn.

So far, so good. Just checked in for 2 nights and found ourselves in an immaculately-clean room; firm double beds and a working TV remote and TV. Fingers crossed. Have stayed here before and hopefully it continues to live up to its reputation as the best hotel/motel in Parry Sound.

All in all a very pleasant stay. I was surprised to notice the rooms were nicely upgraded since my last stay almost a year ago. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would use thus hotel every time I'm in the area.

Clean room, friendly staff, nice place. Rated 3 stars because parking lot was not well cleared of snow and ice, almost fell twice. Pet friendly, but the beds are on regular frames so small dogs or cats will go under and it is difficult to get them out. Trees outside not trimmed back from sidewalk, got poked in the eye by a branch.

The property is centrally located which for business purposes is excellent. The hotel is clean and staff is very helpful. Please consider better quality food selections for the Breakfast included. That was the only down side of my stay.

We had work responsibilities that required travelling and were hesitant about a hotel stay while enduring pandemic restrictions. After a two week stay, I could not be more impressed. The staff are constantly cleaning and are incredibly accommodating. Connie makes you feel right at home and has made our stay truly one to remember. Her customer service is fantastic and has set the standard very high for all of my future accommodations.

Had a great stay, we checked in on Saturday night Connie was super nice.. Very helpful she suggested a restaurant for dinner, which was a great choice!! Room was clean, and great Internet service!! Not happy about breakfast though, came for breakfast at 8:30am and all breakfast was put away, stood at the counter for a few minutes and was not acknowledged!! Went to McDonalds for breakfast!!! Take the good with the bad I guess.... will definitely come back! Thank you Connie

Hi , after staying many a night in northern Ontario, I can say I was not to happy with Comfort Inn , Parry Sound, I can say room was clean, the price was dear, $160 plus GST, no pool, no hot tube, and no fridge in the room, not any extra towels, no extra pillows either. and the big one was no seniors discount, it not big but 10%..... I will not pass on to stay there, I stayed at Best Western Owen Sound for $143 taxes in beautiful grounds and sunset, hot tube, nice meals, then also the Holiday Inn Sudbury $142 txes in, hot tube , pool, both places had a fridge in the rooms, double beds, and great service, Comfort inn Parry sound its not worth the money at all thank you hope it helps someone

This hotel seems to be in the middle of a long-term updating. The room has been updated and had a nice bed, but the carpet was very stained and in need of replacement. Location is great, easy on/off from the highway. Breakfast was ok, but it is right across from the front desk, and the four staff members were quite chatty with each other so it made the breakfast area noisy. It was very overpriced, but that's because there is not much, real competition around.

Overall I would rate it about 85 OUT OF 100 tv needs to be larger for the size of the room most seniors eyes are not so good need bigger

For more 10 hotels that we stayed this year, overall it's safe. I'm happy with the adjustment they've done for their client to feel confident during the stay.

Location was great as we were in town for a hockey tournament and it was very close to both arenas. It has many restaurants and shops around (McDonalds, Starbucks, Sobeys, Canadian tire, Walmart to name a few). Room was clean and comfortable.

Other than a door key issue, we had a decent stay. The room was clean, neat and everything functioned properly. I guess they don't do daily cleanings due to the covid 19 ussue, but, that was okay. They allow dogs - we have two well behaved mid sized dogs - that was a plus. All in all not much to complain about. It was a nice stay.

Blood on the duvet, dirty unvacuumed carpet, shower was so clogged that I was standing in inches of water, breakfast was pure sugar. When I asked for the bloody linens to be changed I was told I had to do it myself since they had no one who could and never recieved an apology. Dirty hotels aren't acceptable in the best of times let alone during COVID. Do yourself a favour and book an AirBnB.

Good place compared to the rate. Having breakfast included in the rate is one of the very good things. It's also right next to McDonalds, gas station, Tim Hortons, etc. This makes it really handy to stay in this hotel. Plenty of free parking available around the building. Good selection of TV channels and the TV was in good condition. Check-in was very quick and hassle-free. Check-out was even easier as they had already checked us out early in the morning and had put a note under the door that we can just leave the keys in the room and leave; unless there's a cost that we need to pay. Which was fare.

We've stayed at the Comfort Inn in Parry Sound now for five summers while we drop off and pick our son up at Camp. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we feel comfortable here. The rooms are always clean and they've just been renovated in the past year. The location is very convenient as well.

During a very heavy snowstorm I arrived at the desk and was told the room would be almost 2x more because I didn't have a credit card to book it myself online. Nothing they could do. $120 I think it was? I wonder what it would have been with no snowfall :/ Staff seemed friendly but I napped in my car that night. No stars for you. EDIT: security deposit was not mentioned at all.

Went exactly how anticipated. Quick check-in, comfortable bed, and hot shower. Be prepared to pay, seemed rather expensive.

Took a trip with my wife and stayed at the Comfort Inn. Very nice, clean and easy locatio to downtown and the main roads.

If you can find somewhere else to stay in Parry Sound I highly recommend that option. The woman at the front desk was not polite or helpful. We had to wait until precisely 3 pm to check-in when it was a ghost town there. Then when we returned at 3:15, she couldn't check us in because the computer system was down. Waited a bit longer until a bunch of other people showed up to check in. They finally decided to do it manually. Well our key cards took about 8 swipes each time we tried to open the door. The fridge was so hard to open, the microwave on top almost flew off. Overall, after driving a long way to Parry Sound this experience at the hotel really just ruined our 1 night visit.

It was an amazing stay. We had another place in Parry Sound booked (site unseen) and there was no way we could stay there. Found a comfort inn in Parry Sound for last minute stay and we will definitely be back!! 5 stars across the board. Thank you! R & J Hillhouse

The beds were clean and comfortable, the bath tub, needs a good scrub, the internet works only when you get in, next morning doesn't work anymore, and the sliding door was pretty dirty. Breakfast it was supposed to be till 9am, but 15 minutes before, there's no more bacon and the girl won't put any because it's closing at 9. Not looking forward to come back.

The rooms were great but the sound travels from the hallway into the room easily. The dining area is way too small for the amount of people who was there for breakfast.

The hotel is obviously dated but still okay. The bed was comfortable and the usual features of a hotel were included. The main problem was the heavy odor of stale cigarette smoke from past years. The hotel was advertised as non-smoking, but the prevalent odor remains.

Decent hotel. Amenities include a microwave a refrigerator and breakfast in the morning. I think they might have a pool but I didn't go see it if they did. The room was comfortable the heat and air system be a little bit updated but the decor was very nice and you could tell there have been many updates. The configuration of the hotel was a little odd because you have to go outside to get to the second floor although you can get there from the main lobby too.

Parry Sound is quite small and so is their Inn. The staff was friendly and courteous. The room was clean, the bottle of complimentary water was refreshing and breakfast was delicious. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Update 30NOV21: The situation has been resolved. I'm grateful for Dawn pulling through and making this right. Old review: False promises and frustrating to deal with. In April I stayed here for 3 weeks for work. We were forced to leave early Friday mornings only to return Sunday evening. In my haste I forgot my pillow one Friday. I called early afternoon and was told it was at the front counter and would be there Sunday. I arrived Sunday to find out it had disappeared. I was told to buy a new pillow and submit the receipt for reimbursement. I have been getting nothing but the run around since. It's now almost December and I am still out a couple hundred dollars. I can't ever seem to get a hold of the manager and my messages never seem to be forwarded. I just want to be reimbursed the money. I don't understand why 7 months later I haven't received anything?

Great place to stay when in the area for boating or fishing. Breakfast is good, lots of options. Ground floor sliding doors are so convenient for staying with a puppy who needs to go out often.

Signage leading into the Comfort Inn property is a little confusing, as it's tucked behind a McD's; but the place was quit nice and cozy. Definitely the place to stay if passing thru and need a night of comfort and rest.

First of all I always use comfort inn mostly always a nice stay..but this one we had very dirty sliding doors like dog art...the tub had a brown rim..and room was very dusty..I usually ain't hard to please but this time..I wasnt totally satisfied with the comfort inn

Start with the positive. The breakfast, considering COVID was pretty decent...... However, The first room we received smelled horrible, and I don't mean a slight disconcerting odor. It was bad! Thankfully they gave us a new room, but later on in the evening we received a knock from another guest who had been given our new room by mistake. Another negative I have is VIP parking for a certain level of Comfort Inn guests. That sort thing ticks me off when I paid good money to stay there.
