I wanted to notarize 4 copy of birth certificate, I google notary around me, and Bytown notary public was one of them, start calling for the price, they all answer and gave me around 25 for the first copy then 10 or 15 for the second, except Bytown they did not respond, but as I saw 5 stars from many people, I thought they will have a reasonable price, but unfortunately they are the most expensive( they ask 25 for the first 3 copies and 15 for the forth one plus tax( around 102 C$) after discussion went to 84 ( still expesive), I refuse and I notarize the document for 50 C$ tax in( half price at Luigi notary.( so for not answering the phone, expensive price, and refusing to accept others price i gave them 1 star.

**FOREWARNING: If you do have a terrible experience and are brave enough to write a review be ready to get cut up with a little disillusioned character defamation in the process. Apparently this group likes to use their commenting for the sole purpose of making you look bad and them good.. no one can have a bad opinion about this place. To get straight to the point; I would highly not recommend this place due to: -the price is expensive and even if you ask if they price match the lady in there says "you can just leave, I don't have to do it" -You bring your government issue ID (I thought it would be fine) coupled with a photo copy of your drivers license this would not work, it has to be physically there - I had forgotten my purse at my Father's 7 hours away but needed this letter notarized for a friend's court appearance- to which again the lady had said "you can try else where, someone may let it work" -Husband went home (50km later), came back with my passport and she basically called me a liar saying "see you did have it" I said no, we've been gone 2 hours??? We had to go get it -Up until now the sweats this woman wore and the unfriendly attitude did not get the worst of me.... but now... I was becoming agitated NOTE: I would've gone elsewhere but most law offices were on their lunch at this time and I had pretty much spent all of my lunch trying to get this done and was running out of time; so this rude, obviously-not-wanting business lady was at this point my only option It was a terrible lunch for me. At every point of contact she indicated that in some way that she didn't want to do it and that I can go elsewhere. The awkward door answering was the worst too; there were no smiles and no happy welcome a private house. Overall the experience was just not one I would recommend to anyone.

I got a form notarized using the remote, online service due to COVID-19 protocols. It took 20 minutes and was very easy. Just sign up for an appointment, and you get a link emailed to you for a teleconference call at the appointment time. Sign your document, if needed, where they can see you on camera, scan it along with your ID and send to them. They do the paperwork and email+mail it back to you. They take credit card payment and send you a receipt. There's a 15 dollar fee for the postage/delivery. If you have a webcam and scanner, this is an easy way to get documents notarized, etc. without leaving your home! Easy!
