I had ALSC get a marriage certificate apostilled (or equivalent) by the Panamanian Embassy in Ottawa. ALSC provided me with regular updates and the correct service was provided. Their services are quite expensive though. For example, my wife and I had our FBI reports apostilled by the State Dept. for $55 each. Also, I had exchanged several emails with Fernando but when I called to provide my credit card info (I don't like to use email for such information), he seemed a bit clued-out. I realize they deal with a lot of people but I had specifically told him I would be calling to provide my CC and he had indicated that was acceptable. After that, I received emails from Filip, who was great to deal with. The courier costs ($70 for FedEx to the USA) also seemed high. I would have liked to see more options - I wanted to make sure I received the document but I was not in a rush so there should be an option for secure delivery that is not necessarily super fast. Overall though, I do plan to recommend ALSC to others because of the overall positive experience.

ALSC handled the legalization of document by the German consulate in Toronto extremely efficiently and professionally. With their in-person Global Affairs Canada authentication service and their quick forwarding to the consulate, I was able to have my document legalized in about 4 days. It's a somewhat nerve-wracking process, releasing precious ORIGINALS to someone you have never met, but their way of handling the process and keeping me informed steadily built my confidence. I am trying to get into China during a pandemic. China has very strict visa requirements, even more so during a pandemic. Joe not only helped me by answering my questions prior to hiring him for his services, but his explanation was very through and detailed. Joe also drew up multiple quotes for me to look at. I shopped around looking for other companies. I made phone calls to multiple agents here in Alberta. None of them made me feel as confident as Joe did. Here is the best part about Authentication Legalization Services: other companies were quoting me a 20 day business time to get my documents authenticated by the Chinese Embassy; ALSC quoted me 12.
