We ordered a couple Catalogs to be printed for our business, we had been working on them for months so were extremely excited to have the first sample printed. We showed up and they were completely wrong, but this isnt a negative review. It was about 8pm (store closed at 9) and the woman in the print section (Delanie) was great to deal with. she got them reprinted properly and extremely fast and at the end of the day I got to take two perfect catalogs home to my wife. Had I had not had them... I would have been in for a bad time! I dont normally fill out online reviews, but figured it was required. We run a manufacturing/sales company that sells nationally and understand there are always going to be issues, but her desire to fix the situation when she simply could have blamed someone, told us to come back tomorrow and moved on really impressed.

I like the fact therer is plenty of room to navigate around the aisles; the stock is always neatly arranged, priced clearly. Help is just around the corner so to speak. The prices are competative. I have ordered on line and the items arrived in a day or so... so convenient. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. The cashiers too are helpful if any questions or concerns as we check out.

I go there to send faxes or to print when I'm stuck for equipment (as so many other places have closed off this service during the pandemic). I appreciate that they are there. I didn't give a 5 star because I found it confusing to figure out where to stand to pay for my fax afterwards. Because the fax is at the end of the counter, anyone entering the store for other such services would be served while I was ignored.

This locations printing customer service is horrible! Clara was absolutely rude and impatient. Extremely unprofessional when attempting to receive printing services. I’ve been trying to print and bind documents for work for over a week now. I was unable to get the process done online so I figured I could go in store and receive proper assistance and clarification for the next time I attempt to use this service. No assistance was given, no questions were asked. I was told if I have a USB that I can print on a self serve machine… when asked of another representative if the self serve machine will also put a gloss on the documents I was told that one of the printing representatives would have to do so… had Clara exhibited proper customer service skills she would of actively listened to my needs and not had sent me to random self serve machine when I was needing assistance from a representative. I called over to the Lindsay location and spoke with Denise at printing. Denise was kind, patient and took the time to explain and even go online and attempt to mimic what I was trying to achieve. Representatives like Denise are truly the ones who make all the while and difference. I live in Peterborough and mainly use this location for work as my company has a corporate account with you guys. I will not be going to this location anymore it screams entitlement. Hopefully staples does their due diligence to rectify insubordinate behaviour.

They advertise that they recycle electronics but in reality they only want the easy to move around kind. Keep your photocopiers and big laser printers away. Personally I think that's just lazy and they should clearly state the fact they don't recycle business e-waste. Funny thing is they sure don't mind charging you out the ying yang for toner. Or making a buck or two off your old returned toner cartridges.

The cashier at the Staples located on Tolmie avenue on September 24th proceeded to mock me for paying for a $2 purchase with my Visa card. Her exact words were “you need to pay for that on your credit card? Cute”. And then proceeded to imply that my card might decline. By far the most embarrassing and horrible experience I have ever had in a store. What’s worse is that a co worker of hers was nearby and did not intervene. I am very disappointed in the company and I will continue to share my experience with others. You should not be mocking people’s financial status while they’re spending money at YOUR store. The only reason I used a credit card was so that I could charge it to the person I was buying it for. I can’t imagine how embarrassed I’d be if I was actually on hard times. Shame on you.

I needed a new charging cable for my Tablet. There was a lot of different cables on the wall. I didn't know which one to buy. A store clerk was able to help me I got one with a five foot length. It's wonderful to be able to plug it in and still use my Tablet without bending over.

If I could give them zero stars I would.... Went in on Saturday dropped off 118 photos to be scanned, saved as a jpeg onto a jump drive. These photos were for a funeral slide show. I paid for same day, wasn't done. I finally called the next day at 1pm and got through. They said there was a problem with the process that was done and tk bring my receipt in. I did, and she said I wasn't charged enough blah blah blah the manager said that it wasn't my fault and they wouldn't charge me more. Awesome! I was happy. I brought the jump drive home put it into my computer and they were all saved as a pdf, google slides would not accept them as a photo. I called staples and they told me "well we don't open until 12" and I said ok well if I bring it at 12 would it be done right away and I was like well i better wait outside before 12 so I'm the first or I'd have to wait. Thankfully I had a friend who has programming to convert it all to the right format. I paid for this service, and It was done incorrectly and they were not helpful at all. It is for my grandmothers funeral and they made this whole process even worse.

My husband and I visited Staples (St. Albert) on Monday, November 22, 2021 with the full intention of purchasing 2 chromebooks. Walked up to the laptops where 2 staff members were lost in conversation with each other, no acknowledgement of our presence was made. We continued our own search and when the selection on display wasn't what we needed, I decided to ask for an associate. Stood in line at the til because workers on the floor wouldn't make eye contact. Asked the lady at the till if she could send someone to assist at the chromebooks, to which she sounded like my request was an interuption to her day. Her response was to look around and say, "I'll try, but he must be on the phone." We waited and no worker offered up help. Considering this was a Monday morning, the store was not busy and they appeared to have plenty of staff on shift, I was not impressed. We walked out empty handed and made our purchase elsewhere.

I enjoy the selection of tech at this store but the print center is an absolute joke. Rude staff, confusing interface with the computers - I selected a same day print option, went through all the prompts only to be told (after I had paid) that they don't offer same day photo printing and it would be about five days for my one single photo I needed printed to arrive. No where during the process of me selecting my print job did it tell me the turnaround time for what I was doing. I had selected the option on the side that said SAME DAY PRINTS and photos were an option. I would be fine if I'd had to wait an hour or even two - but I am very disappointed that this wasn't the case.

Reserved a laptop online to pick up curb side, drove 45 minutes specifically for this purchase as I will not shop at the Summerside location. After paying for the item I received confirmation that it was paid and reserved and that it would be ready in 2 hours for pick up and would receive an email when to go. I had then waited 2 hours and no email, finally decided to go to the store after two and half hours to be told that the order was cancelled as they do not have the product. I understand that online may not be 100% accurate with the inventory BUT when the order was CANCELLED I should have received an email confirming that the order was cancelled which over 24 hours later and still have not received my money back or the confirmation that it was cancelled. Told the employee I want confirmation as this company has already fu**ed me around, he 'checked' the computer and said he can not print it out to go online and check there. All I can say is a big FU** this company!

I was very put off with the lack of concern for protecting customers during our current pandemic. The cashier at the Tecumseh East location in Windsor had a mask that was too big and fell down exposing her nose. The customer she was dealing with didn't seem to care as she was about 2 inches from his face while talking to him. I left the store as I didn't want to be close to her. There is no reason for that at this point. There are many masks that will fit her, as well, Staples could also supply her one if necessary. Not going back there!

Everyone is great at this store. Please make sure your restrooms are functional as I was unable to make use of them today due to some kind of door code malfunction or something. Pregnant people exist and are sometimes in a lot of discomfort and need to know the stores they go in have restrooms. The staff member i asked seemed to feel really bad. I would have been able to shop longer and buy more but had to rush out to find another bathroom. This is uncomfortable. I hope the staff have a rest room.

Over the past 1.5 I have been going there for my printing needs and have found that the staff aren't overly helpful. However yesterday July 20th/2021 I went in to talk to a guy about computer tech support as I lost the paper he gave me with the phone number to call to register for it. There was 3 (maybe 4) sales people standing at the counter and I explain to a girl that I was looking for this paper again, she started to engage in a conversation with me then kinda walked away and didn't say anything else. Then went back to the other sales person and were on the phone.... I stood there waiting, as I had hoped she had called the guy on the walkie talkie but I wasn't sure as she literally didn't say anything to me she just wondered off and went back to socializing. Someone else came up and saw me standing there and asked if I had been helped. I most definitely explained i wasn't sure since she never bothered to explain to me if she was doing anything for me or not. I was told I would HAVE to see a tech person but I didn't want to sign up I just wanted the TO GO paper with the info on where to call if I wanted to sign up for their tech support. Needless to say I wasn't shocked at such bad customer service or how poorly the 3 or 4 individuals were at basic human communication. Thr manager should be there working with these immature people who aren't capable of a simple customer service job. If you need something printer it is a good place but if you want to be spoke to at all or acknowledged then this is not the place to shop. Maybe I am old fashion when I think people being paid and standing around on phones during work hours is wrong.

Went to buy a router.....the lady at the till was polite and helpful. We had a price match as well as a coupon. The manager was rude, snarky, condescending and quite frankly a pain. Made the experience very unpleasant and as if our business was not wanted. He questioned our business as we were trying to get the price match (which was not an enormous difference but still worth matching) "why not just buy from this site, why buy it here?". Very unimpressed with Pascal. Even as he attempted to apologize when we made a comment on his behaviour, he was condescending and rude. The lady at the till was apologetic of his behaviour and was very accommodating and polite. Make her in charge, maybe staples won't lose more customers. We won't be back.

Worst shopping experience ever. We ordered online. got an email that our items where ready for pickup, when we arrived at the store they did not have 2/3th of the order available. I then opted for replacement options and payed those by credit card. In the end we got charged DOUBLE so both for the products that did not arrive and those we bought at the store. We are still trying to get our money back but have over 10 hours clocked on the chat and phone with their so called customer service. absolute disaster, criminally so almost.

I normally get decent service from this location when I get cards printed, but the 18 year old girl working the printer was more interested in chatting with her friend at the other end of the counter than trying to figure out how to print double sided on cardstock I normally plug in my phone or email the graphics and text, but she wouldn't allow this, nor could she change the text font or colour. So the best she could do was print the graphics surprisingly where I wanted it and I was left to add the text myslef. Other locations I have used would breeze through this for me, and for a better price (Ontario). Just annoyed more than anything else at all the excuses and resistance I received trying to get a not too difficult card printed.

We just visited Staples and needless to say we did not have everything printed out that we needed. Andrew at the copy center went above and beyond us to help out and printed what we needed with no hesitation (even after we witnessed him getting chewed out by some old man and THEN he had to deal with a Karen to top it off.) Andrew is an asset and definitely puts the service part in customer service.
