Son got faulty seat belt latches changed . Quoted him an hour for 3, called after one to say at least 1 hour each. They did not post or inform him of $150/hour shop rate plus mandatory $25 shop supply fee. Kid will never go there again , for anything. Staff was indignant about questioning charges.

When an business makes a mistake that leaves a customer's product worse off than when it was left it with them, it demonstrates a great deal of integrity when they own their mistake and make an effort to go above and beyond to make it right. I’ve had past experiences with businesses demonstrating such in principles and how they handled themselves gained them a customer for life. In this instance however, not only did my husband and I have to make all of the effort to get Sean Sargent employees to even communicate with us, we got the bare minimum response in order to make the necessary repairs on our 3 week old Highlander. Additionally, assigning the blame for the damage on your sub-contractors rather than taking responsibility (since we left it in your hands), and failing to ever even apologize for the mistake was also noted. We've purchased two Tundras from you; we love the Toyota brand, but we will make sure to shop at another dealership in the future.

DO NOT TRUST, got oil change, inspection and cabin filter supposedly changed, they are crooks here and I feel bad for those who aren’t mechanically inclined. This is the filter that was “changed” and I was charged 40 bucks for nothing. If you live in northern Alberta your better off going to Edmonton. Response to owner* I PAID for a service that was not completed, if your team could not complete the service they agreed to do DO NOT charge your customers for it. Shady shop.

Sales person tried to sell us a Honda CRV that was in an accident. All cars sold at dealership are at least $2000 more expensive than the big cities. What I did was phone dealerships in Edmonton and Calgary and the bigger cities. I ended up negotiating the price of our 2010 CRV via phone and saved at least $1500. This saving included the cost of the car being delivered to us in GP. If you are in the market for a car, phone to big city dealerships. Save your money.

Dropped off a module to be tested which took me 2 mins to remove in parking lot. Just as quick to test it. Went two days later to see if module was tested. It wasn't so i told the sevice rep i want it back and i get nothing but bad customer service here in the past. She goes to get manager. Howie comes out telling me I'm threatening his employees (apparently what happens when you send a complaint) brings me to the back telling me hes gonna test module just to show me all the employees working in back which is fine. I get it your busy but dont tell me your gonna do it and waste my time if your not. Then i tried telling him it would not take much time at all and he would not listen what so ever. He continued to be ignorant and ended up escorting me out the back telling me im getting pissed at him. Good on ya bud. You seriously need to take a management coarse and learn how to talk to anyone in general. I would highly recommend taking your toyota ro edmonton if you want real service

Was very thorough when helping us evaluate differences between a few models/years. Excellent transparency about the sales process, as well as honest about the selling points and weak points of each model. I don't think I could ask for a more straightforward salesperson. We're still evaluating a few options so we can't comment on financing and post-purchase, but based on our experiences with Sean Sargent Toyota, we will absolutely consider them for any future vehicle purchases we may make.

Noticing a difference in integrity from the service team at this dealership since covid started. Upselling maintenance, doing work with no disclosure of price increases or that there will be a charge for work that was previously free ($20 for a battery test? and $300 to replace??? $130 from Costco for anyone in the same situation) Increase in the price of oil changes without notice, and upselling anything they can to make a buck.. Not impressed at all. Time to start supporting local and pick a local garage that values there frequent customers. Autotrac will be my go to going forward. Cant comment on Sales. Never dealt with them for anything.

Really disappointed with them, I had a simple issue with my truck and in "truck country" they never had simple parts to fix me up. The manager phoned me back after my complaint, but was basically giving me excuses and REALLY not listening to my point. I drive a tundra, and I'm happy with my truck. I preach to everyone i know how awesome the trucks are, but apparently I'm GP the service and parts are not so great. The manager did offer to help me, but took my comments to heart, and actually asked if we should" fire eachother " ? Not impressed. Mayfield Toyota from Edmonton flew in a thermostat and a local ford dealer installed it immediately. This dealership needs to listen, instead of making excuses.

Faulty rad in tundra at six weeks/6000km. Was offered a camry loaner or reimbursed $40 per day for rental. First off I purchased a truck because I NEED a truck, not a car to drag down oil field roads. Second, at six weeks old I shouldn't have to pay any out of pockets expenses because of a factory defect . Not a good start for first time toyota buyer.

Bought used car back in November 2021. Nathan with sales was a great person to deal with. Honest and transparent and ready to help. The only thing I regret I should off take better look at mechanical condition of the vehicle. I always preferred to buy car from a dealership, as they claim their vehicles pass mechanical inspection before it goes for sale. In this case in my opinion they were more concerned about cosmetic then mechanical site. I hade to pass out of province inspection in order to register in BC, which it failed and had to pay additional $900, on top of that it has major engine leak, which I still have to to find out how much it’s going to cost me to fix. If you’re planning to purchase used car from this dealership take a closer look at mechanical condition and don’t rely on their inspection report.

I took my 2007 Toyota camry to get the bushing fixed at this dealership when i pick up my car and drove out the parking lot my car has aligment problem which it never had beofre and when i went back the people at the service department all they tell me is "we did not touch anything around the wheel" i would not recommend anyone taking their vichel here because i feel ripped off and there is nothing i can do i just have to take my loss and move on the only reason i took it there even tho they are over priced was to get the best service and get the job properly done but i left with a different problem my car never had before at the end of the day i am very disappointed and i will never go back there again

5 stars for a good reason! Highly recommend! Very please with the customer service and experience! I bought a used 2013 Toyota Venza on January 7 2021. I asked for command start, heated seats and AWD in the vehicle. It came with all these features, there was a problem with the command start, it would start the vehicle but it didn't warm up inside. I spoke to sales manager Lucas and Brenden. I asked if there was something they could do for me so this would work, they asked me to bring the car back to them so their service team could have a look at it. It took 2 weeks before I got an appointment, during those 2 weeks it got cold to -25 and lower. The windshield in the car would not defrost even though I would start the car a half hour before I was going to drive it. I mentioned this to Lucas & Brenden, on my way to Grande Prairie from FSJ at -28 with wind chill of -35, my windshield halfway froze from the top, I put cardboard in by the vent, (which ended up catching fire) I got it out the bottles of water I had packed. When I got to the dealership I told them everything that happened, they went above and beyond to take care of everything for me! There was considerable damage from the fire, with all the parts and labor it took to repair the fire damage it would easily have cost into the several hundreds of dollars, but they fixed it and didn't charge me anything!! The problem with command start ended up being a cause from the heater which they also ordered a part and replaced with no charge. Everything works well now and I feel like a queen driving the car!! WOW I am beyond words amazed! YES I would highly recommend this dealership and this car to anyone! Thank you Brenden & Lucas and the service techs for looking after me!!

My experience with Sargeant Toyota was not the best. The sales Dept was great but everything after was a flat out disappointment. I purchased a used vehicle and financed it. The finance dept pushed an extended warranty that I found out was completely unnecessary. In fact they lied about the vehicles transferable warranty that remained, saying it had a 100,000km powertrain only. By calling Nissan Canada with the VIN they informed me the vehicle was bumper to bumper for 160,000km. Thankfully, I called Nissan before signing any paperwork but I was very frustrated that Sargeant Toyota tried to push a $2500 warranty on me that was already there. Second, I’m from out of town so I arranged for the truck to be picked up. Sargeant promotes their free delivery. When I picked up the truck, I noticed the tailgate would not latch on one side and the mechanism was bent and damaged. Sargeant didn’t disclose any damage to the vehicle. The driver called the owner and took pictures and was told it would be arranged with me to correct the problem. It has been almost a month and every time I try to contact Sargeant to get this issue resolved I have been ignored and put off. Completely unacceptable to dodge this responsibility. Third, the vehicle inspection done by Sargeant. Everything with the truck was in perfect shape..... but again they lied. The first night I have the truck I put cardboard under it to ensure there are no leaks. Sure enough. In the morning there is an obvious axle seal leak on the passenger side. Once again, not disclosed by Sargeant. I take the vehicle to a Nissan dealer to have the vehicle looked over and they also find the timing chain cover seal is leaking. Both issues are covered by the manufacturer warranty so other than time I won’t be out any more money. I have never written a review before and have always bought Toyota till this vehicle. Have had great experiences with two other Toyota dealerships but Sargeant falls short in both honesty and integrity. They were either incompetent when researching the manufacturers warrant remaining on the truck or were lying to push an unnecessary sale. They haven’t been honest about fixing a deficiency with the vehicle that they never disclosed. Finally, their inspection of this used vehicle was poor at best and I don’t recommend trusting what they say. Before you buy here be very aware you are probably being lied to about something.
