At present this firm gets a rating of 2.9 stars out of 5 and this score has been calculated on 124 reviews.
As you can see its rating is discreet, neither too high nor too low, and it's based on a very high number of opinions, so we may say that the rating is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they are pleased with the business, it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to put tatings when they are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

When I was referred there the doctor was super nice. We were in and out quickly. Much better treatment than I received at hospitals in Ontario.
Had a total knee replacement a week ago. No one wants to be in the hospital but I if you have to be, the QEll is the place to be. Excellent staff, Drs, nurses everyone were all great. So experienced and friendly, couldn’t ask for better Thumbs up to everyone ????????????????. Thank You!!!!
Walked out after 7 hours of waiting. More people walked out then what were called. Still in pain and scared to go back just to be turned down again. It would take less time to drive to valleyview, receive treatment, and drive back. The triage staff are also extremely rude. Side note, always check which doctor is on call.
I've had 2 short stays at the QEII in the past year and would like to say that my interactions both as an inpatient and out patient with any staff were all positive ! ...Thanks to all your staff
Twice in the last 4 months, we have had to make use of Emergency at QE II. Both times we received courteous, professional and timely assistance. In less than two hours we had XRays and lab tests, seen the doctor and received treatment.
I had to use the hospital due to an ongoing issue that we couldn't control. (Feminine issues ) 61 days to be exact. From when I walked in the door I was treated so kindly and felt very safe and that I was in the right place. The Triage nurse , the receptionist admittance lady, with the beautiful nails, to the lady behind the next set of doors were so efficent and made me feel like I made the right decision. I was given a letter and a very comfortable chair . I sat back and watched and listened. People were telling the doctors and nurses of their ailments. Not once did anyone raise their voice or utter a rude comment. I saw nurses bend down, look patients in the eye and respond with calming, reassuring words. I had this beautiful soul Kris take my blood . I didn't even feel the poke. The Doctor listend to me, examined me and we waited for the results. When they came back he made his diagnosis. Told me to make an apt with my regular Np and set up a check up. (Renfree) I watched him multitask and flow though the emergency like clockwork. I woke up today feeling like a new person. My bleeding problem is almost entirely stopped. Side story my NP had been in contact with me though all of this. Setting up ultrasounds and being in contact with Gynecologists to try and solve my issue. Calling me to check on me and making me feel like I am not alone in this and I am not an anomaly. (Logan). I am lucky I don't get sick very often but when I do I am blessed to have a fabulous team of healthcare professionals on my team.
Not impressed at all went here twice. First time was for chest pains... they told me I was having gas pains. After going to another hospital found out I was taking a major heart attack. But dont worry the other hospital got me fixed up. Went there today for back pain. Felt like somthing going on with my kidney. Started off with telling me about my spine? Then said it is mussel pain. Ok that's fine I showed the prescription I use daily( for having a heart attack) then mr pipe grass guy gave me meds that I can't take.... oh yeah there FN marvelous. But I was ok with the wait time on both. About a hr and i expected that.
This triage is run like a joke! Waiting over 12 hours to just admitted.
It good
This hospital and it's staff are despicable. Giving parking tickets to "generate revenue" to patients who are sick and in need of surgery. To them you're just a number, another head to count so they get a bigger pay cheque. Everyone of the security and police officers there should hang their heads in shame, for taking advantage of sick people who are seeking help. Taking an oath to protect and serve, when in reality all they are and ever will be is glorified parking guards. After disputing a parking citation I was told that it's the hospital's admin staff are the ones who choose to ticket people in a parking lot that was paid for with tax dollars, so they can have extra money for "Snow removal" (it's May) The nurses are so unprofessional they fear to be held liable and would rather see you in pain then giving the painkillers suggested by the doctors. For your own safety and livelihood I would highly suggest seeking any other hospitals. Our AHS should be disgusted with the practices done at QEH.
Got sick there many times helped me but nurses where rude to me at 9yrs btw broke my foot and waited 8hours screaming my head off of how much it hurt
They were very short staffed but were friendly and did their best
Worst hospital experience I have ever had. Staff is to busy for compassion let alone to give you a proper explanation of what’s happening to you. Wait times are completely outrageous. At a minimum you will be waiting 3 hours to even have a nurse come up to you.
Hopefully they get friendlier office staff if they ever open the new hospital.
I am making this review 5 stars so it will be seen. My husband and I came in because he was in very bad shape and his pain was constant all day, note that it was 1am when we came in, after he was assessed we were in the waiting room area and he was supposed to get his blood work done, the nurses walked right passed him all night. They did not take his blood work and the doctor came back saying his results were good, when they hadn’t even took his blood.????????♀️ So about 2 hours later someone finally took his blood work (note that we are aboriginal people and we were getting dirty looks) I’m not exaggerating because there was a white man who just got there and got treated right away I’m not happy with the way my husband was being treated.. not to mention that when we were done they told us he was fine and to come back if the pain gets bad, we got our results by 4:30am. The only one who acknowledged us was the doctor.
I have only ever had two bad experience at this hospital but I have had MANY great (under circumstances) visits here. Life got the best of me today and instead of reacting the kind security guy and the front door lady were quick to help and were very nice and patient people. I give 4 stars because paying for parking at the hospital is ridiculous... there's debit machines on the vending machines but not the parkin one? I don't go often enough to know that before and only usually have debit. Now I have 17 loonies tho... bet
Awful!!! Parking is ridiculous and one time I waited 4 hours just to get told to go home! Wasn't even busy that time!! Some of the nurses are very snobby and disrespectful. When I got admitted they were cleaning my room, the ladies cloth was seriously black dirty , yet she still used it to wipe up the room instead of getting a clean one... There's so much wrong with this hospital. Never again.
Horrible care team. Horrible surgeons. Cause a major bone infection by placing infected screws inside my body and causing life time problems of infections and bone disease.
Friday July 17, I was directed to the QQ 11 emerge for Covid testing. I arrived at 4pm. I found a parking spot and was greeted by lovely staff at the door, Kim gave me a mask and directed me to an isolation area they had set up. I was then looked after by Kala who took down all my information, did the test and sent me back to wait in isolation. Testing for Covid they can do 4 tests in one hour, so I might be there 2 hours or as long as 4 hours. My results came back negative and then I was shown to triage where a female doctor who was working with Dr. Renfrew checked out my sore throat and did a test for strep (everything came back normal). She was so nice!! I was home by 6.30pm I had to go back to emerge July 21, because of an allergic reaction. Kim was working at the door and as I came around the corner a nurse said hello and it was Kala she had remembered me from the previous Friday. The staff in emerge are very organized, and super friendly. It took almost no time to get in and out which was a real nice treat. Everyone was gowned up, and had masks. The staff in emerge are professional and caring people, we should be grateful they are taking care of us.
1 hour and 18 mins isn't a long time to be in pain that is bullshlt should be 30 mins no longer this is not right
Im 10 years old i collapsed and they brought me there. They took 7 samples of blood half of them they didnt even use the doctor was bad they didnt even take the iv out its still in my arm
Unprofessional nurse working in triage tonight. Instead of acting like I had ruined your evening and talking down to me, you could have easily explained to try and come back the next day. Instead, you needed to show you were PUT out! You dropped my healthcard on the floor and left it there. Being new to Grande Prairie, I didn't know the proper protocol to get blood work done. Instead of making someone who has been sick for 5 days vomiting, being dizzy, fever, chills and high blood pressure feel safe, you made me feel absolutely stupid and you couldn't have cared less. I have NEVER SEEN this level of service. I guess the reviews, along with what I've heard about visiting the ER, are completely true!
Very good and very quick treatment, staff is very professional and very responsible.
I wish I was at my berth town ????
Always a long ways at E merge 0
For the Maternity/Labor & Delivery Ward: All around amazing experience! All of the staff were super friendly, very knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us! We just had our first born son and didn't know what to expect going into delivery. From the moment we got there until we left, we were treated with utmost care and respect from every single staff member. You can tell the nurses love their job and will go out of their way to help you learn and understand everything that is currently happening and that goes along with becoming a first-time parent. They took away so much stress and fear we were having and helped with every question or concern we had. I can not thank them enough for making a stressful situation feel that much easier for both myself, my husband and our new baby boy! <3
I had my baby in the beginning of January and the nurses were AMAZING! Not a single complaint…they made me feel cared for. The food is bad, but it's to be expected at a hospital. The only problem I have is the MANY "NO SMOKING" signs in front of the main doors, and people STILL smoke there. THIS IS A HOSPITAL, PEOPLE! Sick adults and kids are coming in and out of there, and Infants! The staff NEEDS to reinforce this. It's disgusting!!
I should not be here for damn 4 hours to see a damn doctor
Emergency waiting is wrost. I m sitting here with 6 other people in waiting room for last 3.5hrs and not even a single person has been called in. Its not a busy night or anything ( no snow storm, no new year even party casualties,no fFriday night fights, no hockey match fights, no disease out break, no season change allergies, absolutely nothing) the slowest day you can imagine and still the waiting period is 3.5hrs and its still clicking at 1am in the morning. I m dying in pain and no pharmacy to buy pain killer. People are just giving up waiting one by one.
I unfortunately have had far too many negative experiences here than positive. I've had Doctors google on their phone and hand me their phone to read. I've been laughed at when I was in pain & Dr rolled their eyes. After a car accident I waited 4hrs just for a Dr to send me home. Turned out I had many things wrong. I waited many hrs after getting 2nd & 3rd degree burns. It breaks my heart that the care is so minimal here.
If the meaning of "FREE" in ER is "wait till you die", i'd rather "pay" even it cause me my paycheck and be alive". You can literally hear your doctor talking to some employees outside the room. Worst case after he comes to the room and i aks him if the spots on my skin are chicken pox( i got chickenpox before too), howcome they are not itchy at all, he just said "you tell me" ... i was like what, u r the doctor here and im the patient.
Awesome hospital
Had my 8 month old baby with a severe ear and throat infection. Puss coming out of ears a bloody throat and hadn't eaten anything all day. He throws up his medication so we were told by 811 nurse and our peditrician that he will need an IV if this continues. We brought him into gp hospital and the triage looked at him for 2 seconds and because he wasn't short of breath they ruled him as a mom priority. He was so tired he couldn't cry and they took that as a sign that he's obviously not in very much discomfort. When I politely asked what order my son was in she told me that 3.5 hours isn't that long and they see sick babies all the time in here so no big deal right. I then let her know that her bed side manner is terrible and the tone in which she is talking to a father of a very sick baby is awe full and she should be ashamed of herself. Everyone has the right to feel like there child is important and not just another number in a line. Grande prairie hospital is aweful so go to beaver lodge; worth the drive. I hope when the new hospital opens it bring fresh faces and people who seem to actually like their jobs and want to help people.
I think the experience at the QEII is solidly 4-stars. Sometimes it doesn't meet expectations, but generally staff do their best to ensure that patients and families have as safe and helpful an experience as possible.
Was there for too long
My family has never had an issue with seeing a Dr. in Emergency, especially when not being from GP. When needed to it was in and out. We were referred to GP at 10 pm on a Saturday for an ultrasound for my son and they met met the door at admissions and were doing the ultrasound within 10 minutes. I swear the whole visit was an hour maybe an hour and half. The nurses and Dr.s are respectful, amazing and compassionate humans. We all need to remember the word triage, they don't make people wait and don't think everyone isn't as important as the next person they have policies they have to follow too as any job. We should all be thankful we have amazing people like Dr's and Nurses to care of our grandparents, parents, and children.
Wait times are awful. Expect to be here for at LEAST 5 hours if you come here.
Horrible parking. And horrible wait time, instead of 45min-2.5 hour wait it should definitely say 2.5hour-8hour wait or more. I cannot wait for this new hospital, hopefully we get more doctors in :)
Wait time is insane. They did a roll call to see who was still waiting after many hoursof not seeing anyone! Once your name gets called, you go to another wait area!
The maternity and nicu nurses were awesome. Extremely friendly, supportive and caring.
Just had surgery today...I was so so thankful that all the staff doctors, nurses and attendants are doing awesome care...thank you very much to all..
I have been going to this hospital for 4 day to see my GF and she is in a room with this pore older lady that cant move by her self and when she calls for a nurse to help her to go to the washroom it take them a hour or so to come help her i think that is so not far
this place is where they send the ''lower'' class people to abuse them or even cause death, they will poison your food and drinks, avoid this hospital if you care about your family. contact me on google if you want to know more about my case.
They sent me home with a collapsed right lung after getting x-rays and called me 24 hrs later telling me to immediately come back in for a chest tube. I told them the day I got x-rays that I couldn’t breathe and that it felt like 600lbs was on my chest and all the doctor said was that it’s just bad whip lash. The second doctor who gave me the chest tube was shocked when I told them I was sent away with no chest tube, he showed me my x-ray and didn’t understand himself how it was missed.
Wow. They said they weren't very busy. 4 hours later, they said likely another 3 to 4 hours. Gave up finally as 'emergency' is a joke. Almost everyone we started out with went home or to a clinic. The people I saw were very ill and should have been seen before the various cast changes, etc. So disappointing and here we sit, still very ill and having to wait a further 36 hours to see a doctor. Sad state of affairs.
Shouldn't take 8hours to see a doctor when you have a open wound that needs to be tended to this hospital is one of the most understaffed in alberta think we need to step it up
Waited for three hours for a appointment for a bubble study and then a nurse came out to ask what I was waiting for and comes right bk to say dr was not able to make it and they would reschedule well two days later we are waiting again and another dr had to do it as the dr does not show up again. Then I end up in emergency cause of a infection and have to wait to have a ultrasound done the next day.
Seems like a good hospital, under construction but that leads to a good thing, I deliver salt there sometimes for cafeteria 17 tons of it haha, no it's to soften water.
.
Bored over weight blonde nurse working tonight thats a total malicious piece of work. Girl, if you don't like your job find a new one! No need to be such a grump to people that are in pain for hours on end. Would've loved to kick her teeth down her throat :D
They are constantly getting better and trying their best, although sometimes you find a person or 2 with bad attitudes which is sad but given the stress and mental load of the job it's understandable that not everyone is always at their best. I'm so sincerely greatful for the services provided by this facility and feel it doesn't get the credit it deserves as a multifunctional, high stress, large load to capacity hospital.
People should understand that the nurses and staff try to do there best. Sometimes they can't make everyone happy.
You people are awesome! All the staff you are doing a great job! You are very kind and friendly and caring when I was there in March 7-8 2019 thank you all.
We were here for over a week in the Nicu the nurses and doctors were very friendly and helpful. I couldn't believe the good service we got. Thank you everyone
Arrived at midnight, left at 5 am after a only a single patient was admitted in that time, one of which with an open wound requiring glass removal and stiches
They book more appointments than they can supply parking for ... even with PAID for 48 hours parking at the meter they gave me a $40.00 parking fine due to congestion ... half of the staff parking is unused out of 3 lots and only 1lot available for the tax payers ... this hospital is a joke ... save the headache & make the trip to Edmonton
It's disgusting how little the doctor's do for people here. After my husband has had several visits in excruciating pain they have done next to no tests and continue to push pain meds on him instead of actually finding the issue. Not to mention some of the nurses (not all) are rude as hell. I understand it's a tough job, but if can't handle it maybe you should change professions.
So I'm at the hospital with my mom and thay are taking about her. And I am now truly mad right know she is crying. And I don't know what to do. Like she has been here for a really long time and she knows every body here. Doctors should not treat their patients like this. Thay should be treated equally no matter what color they are and how many times they have been here for and how much time. Equal She should be treated equally like avery one else in this hospital and in the hole world as well. Treat people with respect thay might be the future the president or something else. I am so disappointed in this hospital and I have been going here for so long now. And don't they release that we can hear everything they're saying we're not deaf.
If you want to be looked at by a doctor go anywhere but here. Been in constant pain and the doctors take there sweet time doing anything to help
My niece and I arrived @ QE2 hospital at 11:30AM on Tuesday. He specialist and family doctor were both on holidays. She had severe stomach pains, could not keep food or liquids down. This had gone on for 4 days and she was extremely dehydrated. We sat in the waiting room for 8.5 hours before seeing a doctor. We finally left at 10:30PM, after she was put on an IV to rehydrate her. Doctor and nurses were wonderful, but very understaffed. Alberta Health care...hang YOUR head in shame!!
The nurse's are beyond rude!!! I kindly asked a nurse to grab some ice because I've been violently sick she ignored me the first time then snapped back at me told me shes busy and I can get it myself then proceeded to talk to another nurse about an nonwork related topic. I got up half awake to take care of myself. If you become a nurse please care for everyone not just yourself! Especially in times like these!!!
Helpful friendly healthcare staff, the information desk woman was nasty though.
So I am told to come the day before for being induced because I am high risk and they cant even get me in the day I am suppose to be induced no estimated wait times just being told they will call me when they will call me having to spend the extra money for a hotel things could be more organized and set up on their end way better. I do understand that things are crazy with covid but come on.
I was having suicidal thoughts and was physically cutting and tying cords around my neck. This hospital does not care at all. Been waiting for 10 full hours and could be longer if there are more people. I really wish this hospital improves their emergency room procedures. Not impressed. By far the WORST hospital experience. Even 3rd world country hospitals have better services. This is what free healthcare is? Pathetic way of spending tax payers dollars. HORRIBLE HOSPITAL
They removed the metal from my eye....what's not to like :)
Unpopular opinion but I had a great experience here in emergency. I came in for a hand injury and was actually pretty concerned about being taken seriously because even though I was in a lot of pain, there was almost no swelling and the bruising was minimal. Regardless, no one ever made me feel weird for coming in and thank goodness for that because sure enough, my hand was fractured! In the midst of many great and helpful staff, I also had Dr. Ife Obuekwe and he was wonderful. He was super thorough and compassionate even though to an outsider it probably looked like nothing much was wrong with me! The total time I spent in the hospital was also very reasonable; just under 3.5 hours. I came in around 9am and there was almost no one else in the waiting room (and I walked past emerg several times throughout that morning and there were never more than a few people there at a time). In the past I have stopped by emerg during the evening and it was crazy then though so maybe that accounts for some of the other reviews on here. Anyway don't let all the negative reviews freak you out; they definitely worried me but my experience was nothing like what they describe. I can't guarantee anything of course but I know with confidence that there are a lot of great people working here!!
Don't even other wasting your time for any diagnostic seeking here, they don't care and they won't investigate. Been to QE2 multiple times, for many hours, for absolutely nothing. No compassion, overworked and uncaring doctors, and the most incompetent hospital administrators I've every seen. Go absolutely anywhere but here, even an off duty Vet will actually show you better care.
Frankly, the hospital does not care about emergency situations this second time and I am waiting in the emergency room for 6 hours. Unfortunately, this does not honor the people in charge of the sector. This indicates a lack of sense of responsibility in addition to the improper treatment on the part of the nurse. Paying the money to the ambulances, which is supposed to re-examine all these problems you have and find solutions as soon as possible because this is repeated every day. Peace
Go somewhere else, don't waste your time.
Over the 15 years that my wife and I have lived in grande prairie we have had to visit the hospital for the birth of my son, many infections, various stitches, some life saving surgery’s for my wife, the finding of cancer for me, the care of my brother in law until he finally passed away, and my friend Max’s poor little lacerated spleen. The staff has always been great and done their best. Yes the ER is busy, we just spent 4 hours waiting to get my wife’s bladder infection diagnosed, but now she’s gonna be ok. I have a lot of great memories at this hospital and i really appreciate it that it exists. Most of all a huge THANK YOU to all the staff, the custodians, the nurses the doctors and the administration!
Received successful ball surgery, pretty poggers
Prepare for the worst experience at any hospital emergency room ever. Everytime I've had to go... for injury or mental health I'm completely disregarded. The nurses don't have the time of day to be polite or helpful. The doctor on rotation at emergency couldn't be bothered to actually assess my problem and instead opted to tell me what I did to myself. And ladies and gentlemen... don't have a panic attack. They don't care. Be prepared to be ignored and dismissed. I'm so glad that our Healthcare professionals lack the basic caring and human decency skills it really screams the Canadian spirit.
This place is a joke.
Went in around one am because my sibling was hurting themselves and was suicidal. after 5 hours of waiting, we were told that they would ‘be okay’ and that self harm had nothing to do with suicidal thoughts. We were sent home with no other information or help. Really not impressed.
Great experience with staff. Especially in the delivery area. Fantastic capable nurses.
real joke!!! shame of the health care system ... im from Calgary and got the bad luck to have an operation there ,now I am moving out of province and need my file and imaging. they said that I need to drive 10 hours to get my cd with imaging on it?!? funny because I called peter lougheed hospital and they can fax me the paper so I get my file from there hospital. why not grand prairies ? shame on you idiots!!!!
Just had surgery yesterday ...I was so so thankful that all the staff doctors, nurses and attendants are doing awesome care...thank you very much to all..????????????
Unbelievable, my son suffers from Bowel issues, he was born with gastroshesis, took him to emerg cause of severe stomach pain. So we wait get in, get sent for x ray. Come Back from x Ray and not even 2 min later doc comes back with diagnosis of oh he’s just constipated. Hmmm ok whatever, get home my son starts throwing up and huge amounts of diarrhea. I’m soo mad ???? like honestly with his history and how many times he’s had bowel instruction or twisted bowel and now this. I hate gp hospital with a passion.
Im giving a five star review to the two EMS persons we had around 10am this morning and to the ER nurse miranda and the dark skinned night shift doctor, you guys were so amazing and helpful and so patient and kind to my husband who was in alot of pain and you guys were so amazing! Thank you so much I wish there were more workers like you guys all the time
Great staff! Can't wait for the new hospital to open :)
I've been here multiple times in the past year and every single time I've been surprised at how little time we waited to see the doctor (at emerge) always been less then 3 hours (once it was an hour). When I use to live in Ottawa you were lucky if you got out of there in 6 hours. Staff have always been nice with us. The only thing I don't like is the parking situation however is something you could say about almost every hospital in the country nowadays, how is it fair you have to pay to park at the hospital?
I have never in my life been in a hospital that picks and chooses who they want to treat first. Sever migraines for weeks finally went in and they treat me like I’m a drug addict. Never even had Tylenol in my system. I hate this hospital so much. And I hate that we have to use it.
So I got super bad tooth pain to the point I haven't Eat anything for almost 3 days now I was adviced go to emergency at this joke of a hospital i was told that there is a dentist on stand by so instead of paying 1000 dollars to have a tooth pulled I come to the hospital so I can be told we don't have any dentists on stand by... (here the good part) I finally come home 4hrs later and I decide I'm gonna back and ask if I can get help with a tooth that's keeping me from eating and they say yes we have dentist on stand by...it's now 7pm and I'm stuck with tooth impeding me from eating all because our hospital is lazy or dumb
Family waited over 9 hours to see a doctor in ER...had chest pain...nurse said she would "page the doctor". Unbelievable!
parking is farcical gouging sick people for parking not to mention the fact that half the staff spots are empty and there is only room for 20 vehicles at emerge best case because most people can't park...........
It's a hospital, they are saving peoples lives. What are we rating here exactly?
My wife came in and told them about everything wrong with her. It's a good list of stuff that is hospital Worthy. The dr tells my wife to go so a doctor. I thought that's where were.
The absolute worse experiences as usual.. Had a gallstone attack for 3 hours straight not to mention im 8 months pregnant and they literally made me wait 4 hours & STILL WAITING!!!!! The thing with gallstone attacks im at risk for preterm labour... And putting my unborn in stress... Some hospitals need new doctors and nurses. Especially the triage nurse was absolutely rude.
My surgery and stay at this hospital was a far better experience than any past experiences I've had at a number of hospitals. Excellent quality care and follow up, the nurses and staff in general were well above what I had come to expect from any hospital in Edmonton! Emergency still sucks unfortunately (More funding would be appreciated I'm sure).
5 stars so this gets seen but I'd only rate 2 on account of the maternity ward being redeeming. Great treatment from maternity staff during my son's birth and his first flu but emergency ward sat us in a room for 8 hours when he was 4 months with his fever over 100 and no help to cool him down or aid in his breathing (bronchiolitis) and nurse got snappy with me when he began wheezing and losing consciousness in an irregular manner and I called for help. He ended up being rushed to trauma 4 once I started screaming for help as his oxygen levels dropped to 72.... if I wasn't slightly knowledgeable about vitals my kid would have had brain damage from their negligence. Not to mention when I was 8 months along with him I began bleeding badly and my water still not broken they sat me in the hallway for 9 hours in a wheelchair unmonitored unattended when maternity requested me put into fast track. I said something to the nurse about this and she replied very rudely and condescendingly and continued to shove my file back despite the emergence of my situation and was taking people with a sniffle in before a bleeding pregnant woman. Fast track but I watched her shove my file to the back 6 times... went back to maternity and was dealt with properly there. Most of the ER nurses are extensively rude and negligent and rather than making me and my son feel safe I feared for both of our safety.
Best nursing staff, everyone is very caring, easy to talk too and very helpful, one of the best hospital in Alberta, thanks for being here
Cheerful staff, Great Nurses and Dr.s Its really nice being around such happy people. I'm so grateful for all there effort and hard work. Thank you so much.
Doctors are wonderful! extremely kind and good at their jobs. One of the nurses however was very rude to me. I have a broken foot and was in a wheelchair because of how hard it is to get around on crutches and she told me to be more independent and how I should be able to get around better. She implied I should be more fit, I am not overweight. It’s just hard to get around on crutches in a large building. Most times the experience is great, just a few nurses who are making comments they have no right to be commenting on.
Went to the ER with my 2 year old daughter, who had a fever of 41, and we sat for HOURS. I asked a nurse at one point if there was somewhere I could change my daughters diaper while we waited and she suggested the bathroom floor - as there are NO CHANGE TABLES. Absolutely sickening that this is how this hospital is run. Avoid this hospital at ALL costs!!!!!
Words cannot describe how grateful I am for the staff at this location, they took such good care of me while having a kidney stone extracted ! ???????????? Thank you to all of you who made a horribly painful experience sooo much better from the time I walked through the door to the time I walked out the door.
The nurses and staff here are great and try their best to deliver quality healthcare. The only problem is the location of the hospital, and the parking spot is a bit small.
