Everyone was so helpful and patient when I was super confused about where i needed to be. The girl at the snack shop past security was ON IT, when she saw me squinting at the wifi connection info and immediately handed me a card with the info on it so I could get it together. much appreciated.

Air port is good, friendly staff, nice bathrooms. Had the worst experience with West Jet ever! Booked a flight today in GP, It reminded me about the last time I booked with west jet. I had been in the phone with one of your staff members and he had planed out flights for me and I wrote them down. He told me to go to the counter inside the airport and I can book my flights. I got to the counter and showed the lady at the counter my flight numbers and she said those flights don't exist. So I had told her I need a round trip flight, I need to leave today and be back in 7 days. She tells me that there is a flight today for some amount of money I did care about the amount I needed to leave that day and I just got off night shift so I wanted to go to sleep. So when I handed her the money while I'm still holding on to it she grabs the money and I ask her when is my return flight? She say oh that's only one way and pulls the money out of my hand, I mention that I told her I needed a round trip and she say you already payed me with the money still in her hand not in the till not locked away... I was rather up set. One of her coworkers who was watching realizes her mistake and turns around abruptly then leaves. So I had to pay for my return flight separately. Promised myself I would never fly west jet again.

Absolute garbage airport. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The staff are lazy and completely inefficient at their jobs. Monkeys could provide better service.

What a joke - security is pathetic, simply too small and too small! Aim to arrive 2 hours early so you get through in time. On the other side - nothing - not even WIFI good enough to steam Netflixs! Expect to waste 2 hours of your life - worst airport ever - and yet with problems so easy to fix!!!

Friendly staff and quick security. Check in counters can be slow. No one acknowledges the bag drop-off queue for those that had checked in online so you have to wait in the standard line anyway.

The Flying Goose is an airport that defies simple explanation. Small yet spacious, the terminal welcomes disembarking passengers like a warm hug. Departing souls will be satisfied with a speedy check-in and a cozy upstairs cafe. Legend has it the water fountain was installed by none other than Ian Anderson.

Very helpful staff. The last time I was there the security was helpful as it was one of my kids' first flight. The security was helping her to understand why we need security this day and age.

Once you're passed security, there is nowhere to get food or coffee except at a vending machine. No charging stations and no easily accessible outlets either.

Rude staff, felt rushed and uncomfortable flight was delayed 10 minutes to get back home. Security lady was rude to me and people in front of me for check out.

It serves its purpose for travel. The security team is extremely intense, and almost seems to be on a power trip. I’m not sure why my mini mascara was reason to pull my entire carry on bag apart. Be ready for rigorous inspection by some hardcore ladies.

First time in the city of Grande Prairie and airport was small but staff was helpful and busy. The only knock is having to walk in from the outside in snow to the actual airport itself, brrrr! :)

I usually have a good experience with gp airport but that's all pre covid. Today before my flight I was asked to remove my buff because it apparently isn't sufficient enough to the Canadian government as a mask. And upon my asking why my mask is not allowed I was told "you don't have to fly". Well actually I have 2 vehicles and I would have loved to drive across country as I have many times. But I actually needed to fly. It was west jet that I flew with and I usually don't. I'm not mad about the restrictions, but how they handled it and didn't care about me or my feelings at all. Will definitely try to drive more and not fly from this airport and definitely not with West jet. It's annoying to be treated as a dumb child.

Staff is overwhelmed when only two flights leaving airport. Maybe go here for a beer... maybe. Not for food, unless you feel like being stressed about missing a flight.

Very decent small airport, have bunch of amenities. Upstairs restaurant is closed right now due to Covid however there are bunch of restaurants in 5 min drive from Airport. All major car rentals available near the luggage carousel. Overall nice little airport.
