What an amazing Recreation Centre! Staff are friendly and knowledgable, the facility has great new equipment and an awesome huge pool. Definitely a hub for most people in the winter. The single admission is pretty reasonable too considering the amount of activities available to you.

Very nice facility with lots of parking. One of the best entertainment you'll get in Grande Prairie from kids to adults. I love the swimming area. Hot tubs are nice and hot. Depending on the times you go, it can be crowded. Excellent customer service from the front desk !

Great place to kill a day! Family friendly of course. A person can get a massage while parent #2 takes the kids to the pool. Or play squash, go for a run, basketball, vball, etc. Lots to do, like eating and shopping as well.

I love this place,they gym has everything. They have a place to cut your hair. Got places to get food but it's very expensive. The people are nice. Wish there was a little more stuff to do well swimming cause it's easy to get bore. They have a basketball court and the equipment is free to borrow. I go here everyday.

My wife and I stopped in while visiting Grande Prairie and found ourselves with an evening to kill. We had a blast here. The fitness area was well appointed and we got a good workout in. We then headed over to the aquatics area and were blown away at how much it had to offer: lots of swimming space, slides, lazy river. The lazy river in particular was our favourite. Absolutely amazing for such a small city. It puts the new leisure center in Lethbridge to shame, which saddens us.

decent place, my go to location for athletics & sports. kinda sucks there’s no soccer pitch like the crosslink has, but other than that it’s alright. the track is great, basketball hoops and that whole area is really good, just not when it’s busy as it’s not all that big. the staff is a giant help. there’s one dude that usually works the equipment room and you can tell he enjoys his job, jokes with everyone and anyone he sees while he’s on the clock or even during his lunch break.

This sport complex is awesome, I was surprised to find that huge swimming area and splash park in this city. Sauna and steam room is worth visiting. Fitness center is also really cool, everything is modern and in great condition. Adult daily pass is only 11 bucks. Front desk ladies are beautiful and helpful. I'm gonna visit this place again.

It was fun, hot tub felt A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. bur the slides hurt so bad my back was getting pounded. Dive slides were closed so that's sad. On the wave pool I nearly broke my ankle, wanted to sit at the big gap and it sucked my ankle and pushed my foot back. And the lifeguard said i need two people to go down tan slide, like i don't got no gf.

I've always enjoyed using the facilities of the Eastlink center, the weight room is always bustling with activity. Staff are very friendly no matter where you are, some even interact with you in the gymnasium during your time there. The water park and swimming pools are very well maintained and it's obvious that cleanliness is a top priority, I definitely recommend the hot tub if you're looking for some relaxation.

Enjoyable place to spend a day. Since I don't have a membership we find it pricey unless you're going to make it here more once the day we decide to go. We really enjoy the pool & it's amenities. Sometimes it's hard to get along with the staff since they're pretty big sticklers for the rules.

The best swimming pool/kids play area ever! For $25 ish you can get a family pass and stay all day! There are 2 water slides, a lids area huge laxy river, many pools, a surf area, 2 hot tub, sauna and steam room!!!! The staff keep the place pretty clean and the change rooms are nice too! I'd suggest bringing a lock for the lockers in the change room but if you forget one you can get one from the customer service area for $20 (refundable deposit!) I definitely recommend this pool!

Collision Reporting Centre is definitely not customer friendly. Call while outside for someone to come let you in. No one I'd wearing masks. Made to go out to your car to fill out reports then go through the process of calling and waiting outside again until someone opens the door to let you in to go over your report. It's a joke.

Had a great time at the pool the other day. There's something there for everyone: slides, kids splash area, river tubing, lap pools, free swim area, diving boards, rope, hot tubs, steam room, and sauna. Easy to spend a fees hours here. Really liked that there's a JugoJuice and small cafe in the centre so you can grab a quick bite if you like. The change rooms were really large and well maintained.

We've paid for membership for 2 years there and the price keeps going up while service reduced. We did not renew due to the uncleanliness of the facility. Those members of our family have used the facility often got Feet and Hand warts from there countless times. I contacted them to discuss and my concerns ignored. My youngest was inflicted with a dozen warts and has been treated. They havent gotten new warts since we haven't returned. Talking to the local Doctor he advised it is a common problem and to not use the pool area.

Can't believe one staff member single handedly made this the worse visit ever. Make sure u dont go to pam as she will do whatever she can to get money outta you while completely wasting your time Used to love the place but after just going in for a drop in with my membership she wouldn't let me and started being incredibly rude insisting me to pay as something is up with my membership she said when it was fine last time I came in now I'm being told it's canceled and I get 30 dollars back as credit supposedly when I had over 5 months left on my membership. U do the math there. I really hope no one ever has to deal with Pam at this location or should I just say Karen.wow I don't usually write reviews but this was too much. I don't know If its because of my skin color or what but absolutely terrible service by her.

This place has gone to the dogs! Working folks can't use the pools after work grom Monday through Thursday due to a very small group that has the pools booked ongoing. I thouht today Jan 30, 2017, instrad of being upset my routine and yearly membership value had been highjacked thatI would go first thing in the morning. So I checked the Eastlink wensite for pool hours, Say's open at 5:30 am, great!! Wrong again!!!!!!! They changed the hours months ago to 6am, so here I wait pool locked. Evennings are ruined and mornings hours shortened, I can't help but feel like who ever is in charge here is completely incompetent. Getting good band for my 4th yearly membership......No Not At All!!!!!!!!!!!

The pool is great for adults and families who don't have children under 4 feet tall but it's terrible for young families... There is one teensy slide they can use. Other than that there is nothing they can do. The parents can't go down the big slides holding them, they cantc play on the children slide with them, etc. So we end up explaining constantly that they aren't allowed to do all the pretty, eye-catching things that they keep seeing and wanting. If I pay the price, I expect to enjoy the facility WITH my family. Not go there and pay, only to have a child that is crying and dissapointed the whole time.

I feel sorry for every kid that grows up with this rec centre; They will forever be disappointed in every other rec centre they'll ever see. If this town had a ski resort, I would move there for this rec centre. I want to rate it a 7/5 but Google won't let me. More facilities than anyone can use in a day for a super reasonable price. Staff were helpful and friendly, locker and shower rooms were clean with individual showers. Best use of oil bribe money I've seen. Would poop there again.

How is it possible that it is not mandatory to shower before entering the pool? How is it not mandatory to wash off after you sweat profusely in the sauna before entering the water? I watched countless dirty sweaty people enter the pool or hot tub without washing. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. There are no signs anywhere, since common cleanliness is apparently beyond people's comprehension to do it themselves. I never use the water based facilities here and wrap myself tightly with my own towel if I use the dry sauna. Just unsanitary. Apart from that, nice gym...but how clean is it really?

The pool is good, the fieldhouse gym and track are also nice. But the management and price is outrageous. They raise the price about 50 cents ever two months a student is now 9 bucks. The mens changerooms have no short dryers and no one notifies you about it. You either needs or own lock for the change room or have to borrow one which you have to give 20 bucks to borrow and then you get it back and to withdrawl from the machine it is about 4 dollars. Also a tip sometimes the life gaurd will tell you no smoothies but you are allowed smoothies they are not listed in the forbidden items in the rules.

At the desk they ask "do you have your QR code on you?" as an assumption everyone is getting vaccinated and instead they should be asking "do you have proof of vaccination or a negative covid test?" Asking this instead makes the unvaccinated people feel more comfortable, rather than segregated from the vaccinated. I provided a negative covid test that i got from a local business and was denied, even though its the exact same antigen test at any other location uses and i have NEVER been turned down with that test until i went to the eastlink centre. Disappointed and will not recommend or be back ever again, even after covid ends.

My phone was dead and I didn't have it with me and I needed to call my mom so she could come and pick me up. I asked the lady at the front desk if I could use the phone she said "sure" then while I was talking with my mom for 5 or 6 minutes the lady started telling me to hurry up and hang up the phone I told her to wait a couple of miuntes and she started yelling at me about how it was not her responsibility that I didn't have my phone and had a very rude and disrespectful attitude towards me. I hope the next time I visit I don't see this lady. Her managers should talk to her about her anger management problems.

I use to love going to the eastlink spending the whole day there, gym, swim, and steam. But now it is always half closed down. Definitely NOT worth the $11 drop in. The main pool was closed for some reason even though there was absolutely noone in it and lots of life guards walking around... in pairs.

It's a great facility. Fun for the kids. Didn't care for a couple of unnecessary rules in terms of the diving platform. A bit over the top. For the amount people pay they could turn on the warm water in the showers.

The staff here do not check for proof of vaccination and therefore many unvaccinated people in the gym brag about being let in, even though they are unvaxxed. This is not following safety precocious.

Have a membership here, they’re always nice to us. They’ve got lots of programs and classes to sign up for. Haven’t used a personal trainer here so can’t speak to that. We swim lots and the pool is always great, hot tub and steam room included. They do have a problem with theft in locker rooms though, as does everyone in GP.

Drove from Dawson. Google says it was open at 8 and we get here to find the pool is closed. Leaving with upset kids as this was the only reason we came here.
