Honestly, after reading the reviews, I thought about not coming here. But I had to. And I was pleasantly surprised. The screening lady was efficient and friendly, the charge nurse was thorough and sympathetic, the registration clerk just did his job. I arrived and left within a hour. The doc was professional and personable (Dr. Breen) and the nurse stayed behind to answer my questions. Way better than a Vancouver emerg.

Horribly understaffed. Wait times are horrific unless you're bleeding out or unconscious. Every time myself or someone I know goes to this ER it's a minimum 3 hours. Our 3 yo needed stitches and we had to wait 4 hours in the middle of the day on a weekday to get him in, with less than 5 people in front of us

Worst ER imaginable. Not blaming the people that work there I’m sure they are understaffed and over loaded. Northern health should be ashamed. But it’s typical of what has happened to our health care facilities when they became privately owned buisness for profit.

I wish I could leave 0 stars, the staff are rude and ignorant. I went there for suicide watch multiple times and had to wait 5+ hours each time in the waiting room not even in a bed. Just for them to send me home because I was fine and the counselor wasn't there. It's so slow and you have to wait for hours.
