They were quick to respond to my inquiry email. Appointment booking was straightforward on their website. Their service was efficient and friendly. The location is a bit hard to find but their notification system gives you their phone number in case you do get lost (I didn't need it but it was nice to know they recognized it might be hard for some to find and that they'd be willing to give directions if needed). I went to get a single document notarized and the customer service rep was not proffesional at all. I waited there for about 50 mins to get a single document notary. And I was overcharged by $ 25. I was told, the amont is $50. When she came, she gave me two documents and said 50$ for first one and $20 for second. I mentioned that I donot need the my licence copy signed. The customer rep did not have the answers to my questions, the document I received was written '"signed by the inactive lawyer member of the Law Society of Alberta" at the bottom. While paying, I gave them $100, she returned me only 25. She charged me $75 instead of $70.

Booking an appointment is so very easy from their website and any follow up appointments needed can be arranged with the staff very smoothly. All the staff are helpful and friendly at this business. They will provide all the clear requirements and procedures needed for their service once you are at the appointment. All appointments I've done with them have been very fast and efficient. They also do a good job in implementing covid prevention and control inside the building. Social distancing is followed, masks are provided and sanitization is present. I'm looking forward to doing more business with them.

We were in a time crunch and needed everything signed and emailed quickly. I called to make an appointment with one of their professionals to make a separation agreement with my former spouse and current room mate. I was told to bring our ID's and any information we had on paper for the agreement. I specifically asked if there was anything else we needed to bring or forms we needed to fill out before we got there so we would have a seamless appointment. I told them we couldn't find any proper documentation online and that I was concerned that we didnt have the agreement written properly. I was told not to worry and that if we did not have the proper documents, they would provide them for us on site with a witness for signing, if required. We were thrilled and they even fit us in the same day within two hours, so made the 20 minute drive to get this dealt with. We were greeted within about 10 minutes by a lady who seemed very uncertain about anything- asking us if the separation agreement was only for one of us or both of us.. We humored the odd question and were directed to have a seat in the hall. This lady returned a few minutes later with our ID's and said that she had "spoken with her boss and that they would send the required forms to our email later today and to come back another time". We protested, stating what we had been specifically told on the phone and she stood there just shaking her head and eyes looking like a deer in the headlights, appearing unaware of what we were talking about. This place wasted our time and no professionals were even willing to speak with us. I wouldn't waste your time here.

They were very much just a winging it. I have to either go back or go elsewhere to get the papers properly done because stuff was missed.

My name is Mary Grace and my husband Arvin and I needed to get two set of different documents (Affidavit of Undertaking & Special Power of Attorney) red ribboned by our Philippine Consulate General in Calgary. Due to Covid restrictions, we were having a hard time to even get to step one of processing. I googled online and first thing that popped out was Document Genie. They do the job. But not very upfront with pricing and details of the process. I needed to notarized documents, called in advance to confirm pricing and details, once there had to wait for a long period of time (around and hour) waiting for them to review paperwork (3 documents) asked again about pricing and they told me at the end we will review that. So they went ahead and did all I needed but forgot to mention the details of price per signature, stamps abs process. At the end they were charging almost 4 times what I had in mind according to the PhoneCall. After a short discussion they offered a discount however, was around a 100 dollars more than what I was told over the phone. Need to be more specific and upfront specially when it is about money.

Indeed they are the team of Genies who are always on their toes to help you get your tedious tasks done hassle free. I am mostly busy so I prefer something like chat support to inquire things or to interact with customer care representatives rather than wasting time on those long holds and call queues. It gives me flexibility of working parallelly while getting your work done. Here I couldn't find chat option so initially I was a bit reluctant in emailing them. This company refused service to one of my family members because they didn't agree with our religious beliefs. Never in my life have I heard of someone refusing to witness an oath because they didn't agree with the belief of the person making the oath for themselves. Imagine if I had been refused a marriage license because the witness didn't like me?! This is not okay and I will be submitting a formal complaint to the Alberta Human Rights Commission regarding their business practices.
