why is it the staff and thier friends get more than 3 samples and high paying customers only get a max of 3 one time only multiple times I have seen staff and thier loyal friends receive more than 3 samples. one I saw a cashier give 7 test tubes out

Went into Sephora this afternoon with a few friends. No one had told us that we couldn't pick up the packaging to read the ingredients. We all have sensitive skin a need to make sure that the expensive products we were potentially going to buy would work well for us. After being in the store for about 10 minutes, a lady came up and rudely took away any items we had from our hands without social distancing. we sanitized our hands upon walking into the store and were not told we couldn't touch anything. I had a product in my hands that I was going to purchase and had an employee come up to me telling me I had to give it to them because it was a tester... It was not a tester, it was a product, and I showed them that. I put my items down and we left. Completely unprofessional service today. I will not be shopping in store again, the staff need to learn manners and how to socially distance. Do not recommend.

Very nice to have Sephora here in Sudbury. The girls are nice and friendly but I don't think they are makeup artists. I like the store alot for quick shops especially if I already know what I'm looking for. They have a benefit brow section as well. Sephora brand items and more. Would love to see Sephora transforming like Ulta by adding drugstore makeup as well to make it a one place shopping for all I need. Also got free samples. I recommend this place really lovely. It is close to the la senza and eb games (across) close to la vie en rose.

I have been having trouble for the longest time getting a foundation right in both formula and wear. I went in today and got some help from one of the girls, she listened to my needs and then instantly found me a shade and formula. (which ended up being the Too Faced Born this Way foundation in the shade Seashell). It was a super fast pick and so I trusted her-- went home and tried it on immediately and was SHOOK. The shade matched perfect and the formula is so good, covers amazingly and it feels like nothing is on my face. I wish I could remember the employees name because she made my day. Super happy.

Overall I love Sephora and their wide range of products and shop there regularly but I noticed that I am treated differently by some staff including one lady who I believe is a manager depending on if I am wearing makeup when I go in! In my experience and this has happened on multiple occasions, the staff are “too busy” to help me find anything even after asking for help if I go in with no makeup on! I was told that they didn’t have time and to go find it myself. Not sure if I am the only one but it’s kind of disappointing considering I spend 100s a month here. I’ve also noticed that the manager watches over the staffs shoulder when they are talking to customers to the point that it made me uncomfortable. Customer service is definitely worse when management is present in my experiences. That being said I have also had countless good experiences with many of the other staff members and would still go back.

Loved that they do great screening at the front, telling you about the restrictions too. Helped right away. Found my products fast and checked me out quickly. I didn't have the opportunity to ask, but I would certainly hope that they absolutely require a mask and offer curb side or encourage online or get someone to pick up their products if they refuse to wear a mask with an excuse of having a "medical" exemption.

I am a RIB rouge... which is a top buyer typically online. I go in and not one employee even looks at me and asks for help. Not to mention one girl using making that looks like an “ELF” product, green lipstick, chopping foundation... walks by me. There was ONE girl who recommended a makeup brush cleaner which I bought so that is the only thing I bought. Rude employees. I go shopping in a chill outfit and no makeup. It is a relaxing thing for me... maybe it was because I was a clear face girl in the store but totally unfair. I’ll stick to online shopping because I do not feel like being judged...

It can be a bit overwhelming with the huge selection , so if you're a first time shopper there, my advice would be to snag one of the girls to help you find what you're looking for. I thought this was an average Sephora. They had a good selection, and the sales people were good. I don't often like Sephora as the prices aren't easily seen, but the sales people here weren't pushy when I said I was just browsing which I appreciate.

Went in for the first time to get makeup. The staff doesn't acknowledge you. Judges how much you spend (which because it was my first time wasn't a lot), and gives NO samples. Will probably not go to sephora again and instead stick with online shopping. Very disappointed.

Beauty consultants were friendly and personable (from asking if I wanted any assistance, to breaking out into some Bruno Mars with me and dancing alongside Anastasia Beverly Hills ????), and very helpful! They took the time to help me with a colour IQ, and tested foundations with me until we found my match. They also shared personal beauty tips, and were quick to spread compliments! Browsing afterwards was also great fun - the store was well kept and organized, so it was easy to look around and find fun products. Can't wait to use my new treasures!

Would have given 0 stars if possible. Never been in a sephora store and was my first time. Had to ask for assistance after passing at least 4 staff members. They didnt carry what I was looking for but then offered an alternative. However they used kleenex to dab the makeup to show me but then refused to let me have the kleenex to see if it matched my complexion. The kleenex was going into the garage either way. I'm not about to spend a fortune on something I can't compare to my actual face. That's why I went into the store. Won't be back. Ever.

I went in here to buy products for my daughters. I have very little knowledge of makeup but was sent with a detailed list of things to pick up. It was a weekday and there were more sales staff than customers in the store and I receicved next to no service or help. Once I did flag a representative down they didn't seem interested in helping me purchase products. Ended up going to Shoppers drug mart and received excellent service! Daughters were happy with the products from shoppers and they were probably 1/3 the price.
