You have all the opinions of real people who know the services of Northern Nissan (Translator) in Elliot Lake (Canada).
At the present the business gets a score of 3.9 stars out of 5 and this rating has been calculated on 102 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is high, and it's founded on a very large number of scores, so we can say that the assessment is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to give their feddback when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Translator is included in the category of Used car dealer.
Great staff, so friendly, not pushy at all. Everyone seems to remember the car I bought and asks me how I am liking it. Service staff is TOP NOTCH, always friendly and helpful. Wendy was my salesperson and she was super helpful, considerate, and passionate about their product.
sneaky , they will blame it on something els , and still charge you for the repair , i incourge people not to come get your car serviced here , they don’t do a proper job servicing your vehicle , they also have a BIG lack of integrity and at times laugh in your face and the service is rude , this place is about making money , not helping out the consumer , they will try and get the most out of you and make sure they will do something wrong so your Car brakes down and your forced to go back , take my advice and avoid this place!!!!!
Excellent service
Pros: Polite people up front. Jen from the Nissan Financial was very nice. Cons: Very dishonest! Just bought a brand new Micra S last month. I understand I just bought the most inexpensive brand new car in Canada right now, but they really made the purchase experience very cheap. First, my car was dirty when I picked it up. There was dust all over the exterior and interior. It was pretty obvious it was only given a quick wipe on the surfaces but the dustiness was really evident. I was offered a free detailing by the sales agent, plot twist: I'll get it when I come back for my first oil change. Sure, let's see if they remember that when I come back in 6-8 months for my oil change (if I'll ever do it here). Also, they changed my final invoice to make it look like I got my all season mats for "free". This is after offering those mats for "free" because they didn't have the car in the colour that I wanted in stock. I bought the trim without AC but was charged the $100 AC tax on my final invoice. On the day of the pickup, they've changed the charge on the invoice to the all season mats and said I got the mats for free. Sneaky! Lastly, I came back to the dealership after learning my car didn't have a cabin air filter installed even though it was advertised on their brochure to have it. For the people reading, this cabin filter is very important especially for people with seasonal allergies. They wanted to charge me to get one and insisted it is not covered by warranty. The excuse was because it wasn't installed in the factory therefore it isn't covered. Well thanks Northern Nissan for standing behind your product! /s This will probably be my first and last vehicle purchase from you.
customer service in the dealership is awful
Funny service department, the job they did and charged was not what I asked. I made and appointment a week ahead, they had my car for six hrs, for nothing. Great job team.
Brutal! Was lied to and told my tire was not repairable ...was told a screw had gone the side wall... Thanks for your help Tirez and Wheelz Sudbury. You restored my faith in Auto service technicians. #TirezAndWheelzSudburyFTW
Accommodating staff, great dealership to purchase from. They make sure you are taken care of the moment you walk into the door.
Had a break job done to my 07 Liberty a couple of week ago inform me that my e-brake was seized in would have to be replaced regular brakes work good didn't have to use the parking brake till a couple of days ago when it had failed and started to roll called em. booked a service appointment guy told me that it was going to be under warranty get a call once it's in the shop saying that it's not what they had fixed well what the hell you told me you were going to fix my e-brake and yet you didn't so now I have to pay $150 for a part that should have been already fixed and paid for and it still doesn't hold nobody knows what they're doing this is the 3rd time I've had issues with this dealership never going back stay away
Just picked up a 2016 Nissan Maxima SR today at Northern Nissan and I absolutely love it! Our salesman, Matt, went all out for us and the general manager, Blair, got us a fair deal. Everyone who we dealt with were friendly and knowledgeable. The coffee and muffins in the waiting area was a great touch and much needed this morning! I have no qualms about highly recommending Northern Nissan to you if you’re in the market for a new (or used car). And once they move to their new location further down the Kingsway, the parking area won’t be so difficult to navigate! Thanks again Northern Nissan for an overall fantastic buying experience!
I have been treated very well here.
Absolutely horrible service. Ordered part, parts services will leave it on sales side so I can pick it up off hours. Nadda! Called the next day to ask it be set aside. Was told it would be set aside. Guess what? Zilch. No one knows what anyone else is doing and everyone is ready to blame the other guy. Just moved here too from a wonderful Nissan dealership in Winnipeg. This is not a good first impression.
Nice people but more focused on the sale. My personal experience was lengthy, not personal, and overall not very satisfying. My request took 2+ weeks of recapped conversations and hopes on having my mind changed. I decided to take my business to another city's dealership and am currently the owner of a brand new car(with even more then I expected) within a week. All I can suggest is not to settle for unsatisfying sevice.
Very Dishonest and Inefficient Customer Service. Here is my story : My 2018 nissan rogue had a grinding sound from my front wheel and to do a diagnostics I dropped by Norther Nissan. They did a quick check and returned back to inform me that my front and rear rotor and break pads are completely screwed up and there is no way that I could drive with it. I asked them if there is any quick fix to get rid of the loud grinding noise and got a reply that "no there is noooo way and replacing the pads and rotors worth of 800 CADs is the only way" Just for the 15min check they charged me 75 CAD (seriously???) Returned home disappointed but before I do something thought I should get a second opinion. I dropped by NAPA automotives and asked them to check the same. The technician returned back my car fixing the grinding noise for 50 CADS and the only issue was "THE BEND BACKPLATE RUBBING THE ROTORS"... How greedy and dishonest can someone be? They could have just fixed the issue by fixing the backplate..no, instead they wanted me to come back and get it fixed paying 800+ tax!!! When I went back and enquired the same they had nothing to say, literally speechless!!! Wouldn't recommend ever.. NAPA did a great job and saved me some good money..
Terrible service and they just don't care for the safety of the people in the vehicle. DO NOT BUY FROM NORTHERN NISSAN. THEY ARE DISHONEST.
Huge appreciation to this wonderful dealership and specifically Chad in the service department. We have a 1 year old Pathfinder which we bought in Midland. On our trip north we had a engine light come on. Quick call to Chad and he advised we were safe to drive but as we were an hour from Sudbury come in and we will check your car out so you can continue on your trip uninterrupted. All dealerships (and listen-up Toyota) should be run to this standard.
Knowledgeable friendly staff.
Just pure goofs.. don’t have a clue on what they are doing .. never ever will go back there would rather bus or walk then get my car fix by this joke of a store!
I will never go back to fix my car here. They estimated everything to $400 -$500 and they charged me $1159, I have never had to pay in addition for scanning my car on computer until now. I'm really disappointed and never go back!
Recently purchased a Rock Creek and it was a wonderful experience, amazing staff and management, and amazing vehicles!
Great place but expensive
Just bought a brand new vehicle for my family and the staff was amazing. No pushy sales techniques to try and trick me into purchasing from them. They were my first stop of many when researching and deciding on the perfect fit for our family. However, ultimately I returned because the prices and financing rates could not be matched and I just felt most comfortable buying from them. So glad I did as we are fully protected and have an outstanding new vehicle! Nissan for life!
Salesperson Wendy is the best you can ask for...friendly , knowledgeable, no pressure sake. Put me at ease right away.
Staff very friendly
The stuff are polite with professional attitude. The environment was friendly
Just purchased our second vehicle from Northern Nissan, we had a new sales and leasing consultant Anthony Dangerfield (No relation to Rodney I asked lol). What I can say is his customer service is the best I have experienced yet. He’s a young energetic knowledgeable consultant who cares about the client with a no rush or pressure to purchase, he made sure we were happy with our decision and was very accommodating to my wife and I. Thank you Anthony once again, I see a bright future ahead for you and Northern Nissan are lucky to have you on their team!
If there would be a zero star rating I would have chosen that, I strongly recommend nobody deal with the Sudbury Nissan dealership for a few reasons, bring my vehicle in for maintenance covered by warranty but get my vehicle back with damage that was 100 percent not there when I dropped it off, I was basically laughed at in my face by a gentleman Joe, basically told it was their word against mine and I was wrong, spoke with the GM of this location and doesn’t sound like anything will be done about it but I will keep this review updated of my outcome, as of now I will very soon no longer be owning a Nissan because I would be to afraid to have to deal with the Nissan location in Sudbury
The sales rep Brittany Shannon made the experience of getting my first new car amazing. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming too. Amazing service from start to finish.
Very friendly staff, helpful sales staff. Took vehicles for test drive. Showroom is fabulous. Congratulations
Stacey and Chad from the service department are phenomenal. Stop by and say hello to them. They are a big reason why I drive a Nissan. Thanks!!!
Excellent service. Friendly front staff. Nice waiting area. W/c accessible. Followed covid protocols
Excellent sales team, friendly and very knowledgeable
We have been N.Nissan customers for over 10 years now and love the service and quality. Very pleasant to deal with. Our salesman Jim listens and helps find the right vehicle for you - he doesn't try to sell you the most expensive .... We appreciate his honesty. Over the years we've also dealt with Cambrian Ford & Sudbury Hyundai. Terrible. Will be loyal Nissan customers forever ????
Friendly and professional people. Very fast in fixing the issue my Nissan Rouge when they realized I am on my road trip. Thank you
Really happy with our experience at Northern Nissan while shopping for a new family vehicle. Sales team was fantastic and didnt try to pick something for us. Really happy with our new Rogue. Thanks a bunch for being awesome. Oh, and the rewards program is plus too!
Every time I've been to Northern Nissan I have had to find someone to assist me. I wanted to purchase a car, but had to put down a $500 deposit in order to secure the purchase. Emailed several times about the car I wanted, and was waiting on financing. It wasn't until I called a week later that I found out that the deal didn't go through. I then had to ask for my $500 deposit back. This is the second time I've been jerked around by Northern Nissan. The first time I bought a Nissan I ended up going to Barrie.
Gorgeous dealership. Very friendly staff. Very beautiful woman took me on a tour of the dealership. Really great.
My first time there and it was great. Service was helpful, knowledgeable and super friendly!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Great friendly service! Ordered wrong part for us one day and they made up for it in other ways! Don’t really like that it takes 2h for an oil change but have always had good service! Very happy
I been dealing with Northern Nissan for about 2 years now and had my vehicle serviced by them several times. They listened to my needs each time. Was able to even give me a loaner vehicle during the time I had my vehicle serviced. Front desk staff was also great. One time, a staff even took the time to accomodate me when I had come in 10 mins after closing! Definitely recommend them to my friends and family.
Great friendly and curtious service!
great advisors but come ok guys service is slow. who’s dispatching work? who’s running the shop. time for improvement.
Great staff very happy with the service
Wendy was amazing to deal with! Customer Service is great. Highly Recommend
People and service
My first visit to the service department did not go well. Stewart showed a great deal of patience and I rebooked a second appointment. Thanks to Jim and Ray, my second visit was absolutely amazing. My problem with my 2007 Murano was solved, and the reception within the service department was outstanding. My opinion about dealership repair has changed, thanks to Northern Nissan.
A reasonable wait time and decent service.
Went in for service on my car, the staff was extremely helpful, nice, and genuinely cared. I talked to quite a few of the sales people and service people, they were all friendly and accommodating, and none of them were pushy. I would definitely go back for anything I needed.
Great experience .... Went in just to enquire about specs and prices.... Garret was great to talk to . Still shopping but of it's a Nissan in my future.. I'll be back !
(Translated) Superb new location. A beautiful waiting room with coffee, tea and pastries. (Original) Superbe nouvelle emplacement. Une belle salle d'attente avec café, thé et pâtisseries.
Be careful do NOT sign final purchase agreement look very carefully they will add a $400 security etching fee and hide the charge in another fee and hope you don't notice!!! This is illegal!! This is a complete waist of$ you don't need it!!!! Also be aware Nissan Morano's have a well known defect in them, the back window explodes for no reason and Nissan does not warranty!
Good honest work for your dollar
I found them very helpful and friendly. I would recommend them.
I bought a 2013 Murano, which I love, I have brought my Murano,in for it's regular oil changes, I've only had the Best customer service, from all the Service guys. They are all pleasant to talk to,and honest. If I ever decide to buy another vehicle, It will always be a Nissan, because of the quality and workmanship in their product.
Their mechanics are parts changers. They can't diagnose without codes. Then they turn to guessing and changing parts and computer resets, and still charge, even when it doesn't fix the problem. This cannot be legal. They just changed the catalytic converter,( again, not sure) and guess what, we got the car back today and it's still doing the same problem. $2700, because they had to break other parts to be able to change it. Unbelievable. Now I have to miss work to try and get a refund from these crooks. I'll update to let you know how it goes. Should be interesting. It's sad that we've had to lose so much money on a 5 year old lemon. I used to hold Nissan in high regard until I actually had to deal with one.
My experience was with the service team, Cameron was very helpful and did not spare anytime to make my experience with Northern Nisaan better. Way to go Nissan, Hopefully you keep up the good work and attitude.
I guess if your name is not on file with them they don't give a
Fast service
Very friendly and accommodating.
Amazing and quick service.
Excellent services. Great staff. There already ready and happy to help. Definitely recommend!
No real parts department
