I was in a predicament that required me to rent a vehicle for approx. a week. Dealing with Tom at Hertz Car Rental was a breeze, I required an extension on the rental to which Tom had absolutely no problem, also, I ran a bit late returning the vehicle and again Hertz was understanding and did not ding me extra for a late fee. If you need to rent, rent from Hertz! Makes what can be an unpleasant experience into one that leaves you smiling! Thanks Hertz!!! nice to see exceptional service in todays world!

Not a real Hertz, it's inside Northside Toyota. I didn't even get past the girl on the phone, who was obviously plucked from the trashbin of Northside Toyota employees, Bobby or something, went on a fear mongering rant about how the car "doesn't leave the lot" unless I prove that I have car rental insurance with my policy, like some kind of mafia talk, which I said I'd look into (I do, as well as on my credit card too) but that didn't stop her from banging on about a whole $20 a day that I might have to pay for insurance. I use $20 bills for firestarter, I could care less - but I actually had to hang up the phone while she was still ranting. How do these people get jobs? How are they not fired? Hertz is an upscale rental agency and I've used them all over the world but somehow Sault Ste Marie manages to completely destroy their reputation. Considering the apparent scam they seemed to pull with someone else and a cracked bumper, I'm glad I dodged a bullet and avoided these heavy handed oafs. Perhaps I'm being too harsh, did they just have another incident with another customer? But why do I have to endure the result of someone else's behaviour? Life is too short to put up with rude nonsense.
