Our experience with JR Language was incredible. They were responsive and accurate with their quotes, The online payment portal was easy, and the product was better than I could have hoped for as they typeset everything in exactly the way the original document was laid out. They even worked with my design products in my Canva account. We used them for multiple projects in quick succession and I was able to work with the same translator for each, so I was grateful to build that relationship.

JR language translation saved my trip to Greece when I was informed at the last minute that without certified translations of my Greek birth certificate, I would not be able to travel on a Canadian passport due to Covid related travel restrictions. JR provided certified translations in a couple of days and even arranged for a private courier. Communication was always prompt and professional and alleviated any stress around the rush I was in. My experience was mixed, but ultimately not good. The good points, they respond quickly to inquiries and returned the product in a decent timeframe. I had a document translated for a state agency that required a statement on the certification letter (which it did not contain). The statement needed to say that the person who translated the document was in no way affiliated with me (relative, friend, business associate). JR Language refused to add the statement. Therefore, I wasted my money getting the document translated. I was 'told' of all the other agencies that have accepted their generic letter; totally disregarding that the agency I submitted it to rejected it. Not happy that they weren't willing to be flexible and try to assist.

I would give this company ZERO stars if possible. This company quoted me a 4 "business" day turn around and they sent me their translation over a week later and blamed it on Thanksgiving. Also, the translation was obviously just run through Google translator. I have been calling them all day asking for a refund and they are not picking up my calls. AVOID this company.
