(Translated) Our trip started in Calgary and ended in Vancouver; So we only had the return in Vancouver. Die Rückgabe funktionierte absolut problemlos und sehr rasch; das Personal war total freundlich und wir wurden sofort im Anschluss per Transfer zum Flughafen gebracht. Wenn wir das nächste Mal kommen, dann sicher wieder mit Canadream!

Disapointed, the bill says 3200 km allowed and when you pay it's 1600km. They want to charge you extra when you already paid. Cheaper than others RV rentals but extras bring you to the same price. The RV is supposed to be ready at 13h and we left at 16h30. I do not suggest or recommend.

Point of advice: Give renters, beside the given campingchairs, a little table. Levellers ( i hope i spelled it correctly) are also handy. (that was the only thing we missed. Das CanaDream-Personal war wiederum sehr freundlich und unkompliziert Es gibt wirklich nichts zu bemängeln von unserer Seite. Bei unserem nächsten Kanada-Trip wird CanaDream wiederum unser bevorzugter RV-Vermieter sein.

(Translated) We are currently traveling with a Canadream MH-B that we got as a Run Off Fleat. The Canadream recommendation came from the travel agent canusa and the price was tempting. The motorhome is 7.5m long and very large for 2 people which doesn't bother us much. On the other hand, the equipment is spartan, the car would be suitable for 6, but there are only dishes for 3 on board, which means washing every day even with only 2 people, which means that the gray water tank (shower, hand wash basin, etc.) fills up very quickly and has to be emptied every 2 days. All not broken legs but laborious. As for the gas in the car for cooking and refrigerating and heating, we were told when we handed over that we would get there well with one filling for 16 days, but honestly it is almost 1 3/4 fillings that we would need. The additional costs for final cleaning etc were known and that was to be expected, but disappointing that there is no comprehensive insurance, so there is total insurance, there is a bland aftertaste and a residual risk of ending the holiday with $ 750-1500 extra costs in the end! Regarding the equipment, it can be said that camping chairs, toasters, electric coffee machines are available for money or negotiation, but there is absolutely no first-aid kit, warning triangle and something like drive-on wedges, because if the campsite is not level, you can sleep become uncomfortable AND the refrigerator fail ...... The camper's heating also runs on gas and led to increased consumption for us if it worked. Yes, in September it is cold in Canada, and a thick blanket and a fleece blanket are NOT sufficient on a -2 degree cool night, because the camper with aluminum windows and slideouts offers a lot of cold bridges, not least the completely warped and leaky door to Mention camper, which I had repaired while driving, since the screws had loosened from 2 of the 3 door hinges ..... Das Motorhome is 7,5m lang und für 2 Personen sehr groß was uns aber nicht sonderlich stört. Spartanisch ist hingegen die Ausstattung, für 6 wäre das Auto geeignet, an Bord befindet sich aber nur Geschirr für 3, was bedeutet jeden Tag abwaschen auch bei nur 2 Personen, dadurch wird der Grey Water Tank (Dusche, Handwaschbecken, etc) sehr schnell voll und muss alle 2 Tage etwa geleert werden. Alles kein Beinbruch aber mühselig. Was das Gas im Auto angeht für Kochen und Kühlschrank und heizen so wurde uns zwar bei Übergabe gesagt würden wir 16 Tage gut mit einer Füllung hinkommen, ehrlicherweise sind es aber fast 1 3/4 Füllungen die wir bräuchten. Die Zusatzkosten für Endreinigung etc waren bekannt und damit war auch zu rechnen, Enttäuschend jedoch das es keinerlei Vollkasko, also Total Versicherung gibt, es bleibt ein fader Beigeschmack und ein Restrisiko, am Ende mit 750-1500$ extra Kosten den Urlaub abzuschließen! Hinsichtlich der Ausstattung lässt sich sagen, das Campingstühle, Toaster, Elektr. Kaffeemaschine gegen Geld oder Verhandlung zu bekommen sind, dennoch fehlt absolut ein Erste-Hilfe Kasten, Warndreieck und so etwas wie Auffahrkeile, denn wenn der Campingplatz nicht grade ist, kann das Schlafen unangenehm werden UND der Kühlschrank ausfallen...... Die Heizung des Campers läuft auch auf Gas und führte bei uns zu einem erhöhten Verbrauch, so sie denn funktionierte. Ja im September ist es kalt in Canada, und eine dicke Decke und eine Fliesdecke sind NICHT ausreichend in einer -2 grad kühlen Nacht, da der Camper mit Alufenstern und Slideouts sehr sehr viele Kältebrücken bietet, nicht zu letzt die völlig verzogene und Undichte Tür zum Camper zu erwähnen, welche ich während der Fahrt auch erst einmal repariert hatte, da von 2 der 3 Türangeln sich die Schrauben gelöst hatten..... Fazit: Vor einer Buchung lohnt es sich Dinge zu Hinterfragen an die man ggf. Nicht denkt oder aber für selbstverständlich erachtet (First aid kit?) Auffahrkeile, Wäscheleine, extra Decke auch wenn es unnötig scheinen mag, sie fehlt wann man sie braucht!

Hired their largest RV from May to July 2017 - 63 days - excellent service - good prep and familiarization pre uplift - gave extra bedding towels products etc - had a issue with fridge after first week - brilliant 24 service and follow up re problem that was resolved by the help desk - This is the second time we have rented from Canadream - both RVs exceeded our expectation - both were new models - low Ks and spotless in side - will be back with them again in 2018 - excellent company to deal with - Steve - New Zealand

In addition to the exorbitant price, you discover the essential incidental costs: broken glass insurance, breakdown assistance, rental of toasters, seats, exterior cleaning ... The dashboard is basic but it is possible to associate your smartphone, in particular to benefit from your own GPS. Prefer the "Here de go" application which works offline and allows the free download of the map of Canada. Do not take the GPS offered by CanaDream because it is obsolete. Besides, we put it back in its box from the first hours of travel. Big downside, the motorhomes have neither obstacle radar nor reversing camera, it feels like going back to the last century. As a result, it is not reasonable to drive alone or else never maneuver. Canadream also does not provide wedges to rebalance the motorhome on slightly sloping terrain. Last advice: do not clutter up with bath towels, they are included. By cons, provide a tablecloth for tables in campsites. My bedding is of poor quality, the mattress is soft and without support of the spine, causing a backache, but we end up getting used to it after several days. Despite its length (9m), the interior layout is poorly optimized: the 2 places for bedding at the nasturtium level is far too narrow. The electric opening of the kitchen is not essential, it only widens the corridor. The toaster, optional, is incompatible with the ultra-sensitive fire alarm which is systematically triggered. We ended up finding the trick: put the toaster on by turning on the range hood. The closets in the bedroom are very practical, but the hangers do not hold in place as soon as the road vibrates. Our motorhome is a real fuel pit: 30l per 100, almost 3 times more than mine ... But fortunately, gasoline is 50% cheaper than in France. The sewage disposal is very well designed. The crockery equipment is perfect. The kitchen table is curiously very slippery, the plates slide over it like on a skating rink. Cependant, Canadream ne propose pas de modèles intégraux, mais uniquement des modèles à capucine, c'est dommage car le toit avant cache le paysage, surtout en montagne. Les passagers à l'arrière ne voient quasiment rien. L'accueil est parfait et les explications en français limpides. Le mode d'emploi fourni est extrêmement pratique et bien conçu. Outre le tarif exorbitant, vous découvrez les faux frais indispensables: assurance de bris de glace, assistance dépannage, location de grille-pain, de sièges, nettoyage extérieur... Le tableau de bord est basique mais il est possible d'y associer son smartphone, en particulier pour bénéficier de son propre GPS. Préférer l'application "Here de go" qui fonctionne hors connexion et permet le téléchargement gratuit de la carte du Canada. Ne prenez pas le GPS proposé par CanaDream car il est obsolète. D'ailleurs, on l'a remis dans sa boîte dès les premières heures de voyage. Gros bémol, les camping-cars n'ont ni radar d'obstacle ni de caméra de recul, on se croirait revenir au siècle dernier. Du coup, il n'est pas raisonnable de conduire seul ou alors ne faites jamais de manœuvres. Canadream ne fournit pas non plus de cales pour rééquilibrer le camping-car sur des terrains légèrement en pente. Derniers conseils: ne vous encombrez pas de serviett6e de bain, elles sont incluses. Par contre, prévoyez une nappe pour les tables dans les campings. Ma literie est de mauvaise qualité, le matelas est mou et sans maintien de la colonne vertébrale, provoquant un mal de dos, mais on finit par s'y habituer après plusieurs jours. Malgré sa longueur (9m), l'aménagement intérieur est peu optimisé: les 2 places pour la literie au niveau de la capucine est bien trop étroit. L'ouverture électrique de la cuisine n'est pas indispensable, il se contente d'élargir le couloir. Le grille-pain, en option, est incompatible avec l'alarme incendie ultra-sensible qui se déclenche systématiquement. Nous avons fini par trouver le truc: mettre le grille-pain en allumant la hotte de cuisine. Les placards de la chambre sont très pratiques mais les cintres ne tiennent pas en place dès la moindre vibration de la route. Notre camping-car est un véritable gouffre à carburant: 30l au 100, soit quasiment 3 fois plus que le mien... Mais heureusement, l'essence est 50% moins chère qu'en France. L'évacuation des eaux usées est très bien conçu. L'équipement de vaisselle est parfait. La table de cuisine est curieusement très glissante, les assiettes glissent dessus comme sur une patinoire.

Unsere ganze Tour (leider nur zwei Wochen) war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis; daran hatte maßgeblichen Anteil das Fahrzeug. Mit 35' km nicht mehr ganz neu, aber in tadellosem Zustand. Dass die Kiste mit ihrem 7-Liter-Motor 23 Liter Benzin brauchte, war keine Überraschung. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten an der Ausrüstung traten gleich nach Fahrtantritt zu Tage, waren aber nicht weiter wichtig. So hatte der Wasserkessel keinen Griff mehr und an der Herdabdeckung fehlte am Scharnier eine Schraube (ein Stückchen Schnur reichte für eine provisorische Reparatur). Sehr gute technische Ausstattung ohne irgendwelche Probleme während der Fahrt. Einweisung/Übergabe und ebenso die Rückgabe waren solide und genau, aber in kurzer Zeit erledigt. Dass jedes Mal eine deutsche Mitarbeiterin zur Verfügung stand, war ein netter Effekt am Rande.

Some friendly people, but bad polices and terrible service. They disable the 'city water' functionality of all their RVs, with the bogus claim that water pressure varies from one camp to the other. This makes it necessary to keep refilling your water tank, making "full hookup" impossible. When we complained about it the rep said " I couldn't agree with you more"... We got what was described as a 2015 model RV, but had numerous technical issues: door that kept opening spontaneously (very dangerous), even after we turned back and they supposedly "fixed" it. Leaking kitchen plumbing (couldn't use hot water as a consequence), non functioning oven, and audio system that we could not figure out (and not mentioned in the manual). They also doable the TV, which we did not mind, but others may. Plus they have many hidden charges that at least some we did not as elsewhere: $150 for turning the generator even for one minute, high fees if you do not thoroughly clean the RV upon return (and they sell you a $150 plan to avoid this charge), extras to lower otherwise high insurance deductibles, etc. All this was already enough to make you feel swindled, but then came the unpleasant check out experience.. Not withstanding the promise that it will be a breeze if we purchased the $150 package, we spent over one and a half hour there, and had to pay for an expensive cab to the airport since the supposedly frequent shuttle ("every 10-20 minutes") was nowhere to be found and after already waiting 45 minutes we were told it will only be there in at least 30 minutes (at least if we were told earlier we would have taken the taxi sooner). Bad experience and left a bad taste after the otherwise lovely vacation (the Canadian Rockies are amazing).

For couples Canadream equips you not with a motor home but with a camper van, that is to say a fitted van. Do not take large suitcases you would have to store them outside each time you are stopped or put it on the bed when you travel. Canadream prohibits you from using the high wind which means never being sheltered outside. They also equip the machine with a TV and a DVD player which are not connected by prohibiting the use however very useful on rainy days or in the campsites which do not reserve beautiful pitches as it is often and surprisingly the case. It must be emptied every two days ... gray and black water ... finally the gas only takes two weeks for normal use which means a fridge without cold since it only works properly on gas ... In the end and in the country of the motorhome which only offers from the campsite not really very teamed and often not very clean when it comes to sanitary facilities ... do not rent from Canadream for two people rent a vehicle for 4 ie paying more is certainly what they are looking for !!! Pour les couples Canadream vous dote non pas d'un motor home mais d'un van camper c'est à dire d'une fourgonnette aménagée. Ce qui signifie dormir dans sa cuisine cuisiner dans sa chambre faire pipi et le reste dans sa douche et se doucher dans ses toilettes. Ne prenez pas de grosses valises vous seriez obliger de les stocker a l'extérieur chaque fois que vous êtes à l'arrêt ou alors de le mettre sur le lit quand vous voyagez. Canadream vous interdit l'utilisation du haut vent ce qui signifie n'être jamais à l'abris a l'extérieur. Ils équipent aussi l'engin d'une télé et d'un lecteur de DVD qui ne sont pas connectés en interdisant l'utilisation pourtant bien utile les jours de pluie ou dans les camping qui ne vous réservent pas de beaux emplacements comme c'est souvent et surprenamment le cas. Il faut vidanger tous les deux jours ... eaux grises et noires ... enfin le gaz ne tient que deux semaines pour une utilisation normale ce qui signifie un frigo sans froid puisqu'il ne fonctionne correctement que sur le gaz ... Au final et au pays du camping car qui n'offre que dès camping pas vraiment très équipes et souvent pas très propres s'agissant des sanitaires ... ne louer pas chez Canadream pour deux personnes louer un véhicule pour 4 c'est à dire payer plus cher c'est d'ailleurs certainement ce qu'ils cherchent !!!

I do not understand how they do not rent diesel that they spend half ... in our case 2800 km at 25 liters and 1.36 dollars per liter total cost 1000 eu d gasoline ... . En fin estamos contentos y recomendaria a todos el servicio de esta empresa y el personal que nos atendio ya que fueron muy amables y cumplidores pero creo que todo esto tendria que mejorar ya que uno tiene unos dias al año para desconectar y lo ultimo que desea es tener dolores de cabeza. decir a favor que a la vuelta al aeropuerto si nos han dejado en la terminal....

Pretty good company. Both Vancouver and Calgary. Did a relocation for them. The truck was new and camper almost new. Diesel truck. Lots of power good on fuel. No problems. Free 10 gas card included, and a welcome pack. Would rent again. I hit a deer and it cost me $1000 deductable. asked for a discount as I was relocating for them but never got a phone call back. Oh well. If a manager reads this please see if I can even get 200 back as we were very nice customers and thought we all got along well. Was 1200 bucks for the rental and included 2000 KM. we used 1950. Would do again. Out the door was 2200, plus fuel and camping fees. Probably about 3000 bucks out the door for 10 day vacation. probably good price. Was informed that Fraserway makes you pay 7500 if you decline their insurance. With Canadream the insurance is included. They did not give me any problems on return, but I followed procedure by the book. They offer me 500 KM free on my next trip thats cool. From Twasseen we uber to their locaiton, and from calgary we uber back to airport. no brainer. -A

I had three opportunities to rent an RV from them in 2015. In March, me and friends decided to go to Whitehorse. It was exciting because this was the first time for all of us. People were nice and some were under training. But they were very understanding. The RV was very suitable for that trip. In May and June, I booked another two trips from them as well. All went well. The last one was late return, called them one day before return, they first said no, but then they swamped some other vehicles to accommodate us to be late. Our trip was generally good, however, we had some issues during the pick up, drop off process. The pick up process took way too long as we had some door lock issue and needed long time to fix. Our main comment was during the drop off time when the staff were a bit tense and not very welcoming. They were more concerned about the vehicle than the customers. When we told them about the damaged water kettle that could’ve burned us, their response was whether we bought a new one to refund us. Finally, the policy of paying for 7 days even if you book for 5 (like in our case) and then charged us for $160/hour for late drop off is a bit over (especially when the drop off time is 10 am). My little daughter summarized this by saying “we didn’t get what we paid”.

One thing I must admit, the nicest and most accommodating staff that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with, right from the first contact to the last. Now, having said that, there were issues, first with the RV and it only had about 18, 000 KM on it. Pieces falling off, flimsy construction and things cosmetic. The RV overall was superb but the small issues were annoying. Once mentioning this to the staff, the response was quick and thorough although when it comes to RV's I would not purchase a Jayco RV due to the workmanship. I read the other reviews and must as well agree that there were charges other than those quoted when we arrived to pick up the RV and I find that a bit misleading, no reflection whatsoever on the staff as when I mentioned the issues they told me that they are corporate and could not be handled at their level. There were extra insurance costs, cleaning costs, even wishield chip costs, all in all never mentioned and when you pay $1700 or so for a week, it get's excessive. I was also not very happy that you could not purchase an upgrade to your mileage when you leave with the RV. Sometimes it is not easy to know how much mileage you are going to put on the RV and that would mean that those on a strict budget could not venture out and truly enjoy as the extra mileage was $.37 a kilometer. All in all my extra costs were somewhere in the vicinity of $500. Considering that the RV needs a trailer full of gasoline to run, the trip for a week cost us almost $3000, a hefty fee just for the RV and no other costs like camping, food, etc...,and something that all of you reading this may want to consider and this was on a special promotion. In my opinion, to sum it up, I believe that the staff could not be better but the owners need to give their heads a shake and understand that it is better to give people choices, explanations and the courtesy to adjust their position while on their trip or it will just be viewed as greed and the return clients although happy with all else may think twice before doing it again. I hope that you take this review as suggestions on how to improve and not complaints, per se...

Just returned our Canadream Deluxe Camper Van today after a 4-day trip in Vancouver, B.C. Our van was a brand new late model Coleman converted Ford Transit. Had plenty of power and amenities for us during our camping stays. Everything worked perfectly as it should. Service was amazing. Heidi at the counter was very easy to deal with and was very helpful in explaining the rental process. Once we brought it back we had it inspected and our inspection agent was beyond nice. The entire process was seamless and easy. Couldn’t have had a better experience.

I do not recommend this company. My husband and I rented an RV in early fall 2020 for a couple of weeks. It was just the two of us but they made us rent an enormous 4+ sleeper because it's the only type they winterize (I imagine to boost their profits). The worst part was how rude the front counter staff were when we returned the camper. We got a scratch on it during our trip (at very low speed, as we we had never driven such a wide vehicle before and its visibility was limited). We were okay to pay and had paid for the insurance of course, but what was terrible was how rude the front counter staff were about it. The mechanic/technician was very pleasant and went to inspect the scratch and get a quote for repairs. When he came back with the quote and gave it to the front staff, they were talking to each other saying, "This quote seems too low... he must not be charging for his labour... what should we do? Well the quote is the quote." I found that whole interchange and their attitude very unprofessional. More notes: The camper and what it included were all very basic. E.g. Canadream included about an ounce of dish liquid and a mini-sponge that got flattened/useless after first use. Given we were renting for more than two weeks, I would have found it classier they not provide us anything - it would've made them seem less cheap. The camper was fine but it did not feel as high end as another we've rented through a different company. Bedding and finishings were comparable with a 1-2 star hotel.

We rented a camper van from CanaDream with the 7 day special they were running - it was the best price we found after calling around several places. Quick service at pickup and they clearly walked us through how to operate the camper and all it's features. Super fun way to travel around and explore BC - we saw tons of these and the CanaDream campers on the road while we were driving up toward Whistler and Squamish. I'd recommend CanaDream for the competitive price, quality of the vehicles, and good service experience.

The people at the drop off were rude (the guys at drop off and the manager) and rushed through everything and to tip it off we weren‘t able to get the shuttle to the airport, even though we contacted the company in advance about it. Positiv was the friendly women at the reception and the agent who carried out the paperwork. About the RV: they are fine, but badly built. So they are loud when driving, storage space is not divided (everything moves while driving), the headlights are useless if you don‘t use the high beams (so you have to avoid driving at night), the light on the inside was horrible cheap, cold, industrial light and you just quickly get a feeling that nobody who is building this thing is actually using it.

Had the worst experience with this company. When I arrived to pick up the RV, they told me that it wasn’t ready yet. I ended up waiting for 2hrs for them to get it ready. When they were finally done, they rushed through the inspection glossing over things. When I returned the RV, they told me that a piece was missing and that I would be charged for a replacement (estimated at $500-$600) but a few days later I get an email explaining how the damage was worse and that they will need to replace the whole part (a feature that I had never used because it was broken upon pickup). To no surprise, they told me that they will be using my entire deposit ($1000) to cover the damage. When I asked for pictures with a time stamp or any proof that this feature was functional at pick-up, they told me that it was up to me to have asked about this when I picked up the RV. So all in all, a scam of a company not to mention terrible customer service from pick-up to drop-off. I would highly recommend that you rent elsewhere.

Great service and friendly and supportive staff. Awesome phone experience. I did have a bit of issue at the manager level -- had to rebook due to their system glitch but when the reservation was done incorrectly, the manager was not very sympathetic. The rest of the experience made up for it but left a bit of sour taste. During the trip, the fridge didn't work, but I was sent a technician the same day to resolve and was compensated on return without much hassle. I would recommend and would use again.

I rent a SVC for 10 days to Banff and Jasper from CanaDream. The truck performs as it is because of the weight. Uphill is slow and downhill needs to push the towhaul button to help to brake. This is my first time to drive a bigger truck like a RV so it took 2 days to warm up. Before that, the biggest car I drive is a minivan. Some tips of driving the SVC. 1: Should never go beyond 110kM/Hr for safety reasons it is a RV not a racing Car. It is very stable when driving at 80km/hr. When go beyond 80, side door has some noise depending on the wind conditions. 2: Double the braking distance, It means keep at least double the distance with the front car comparing to your minivan or sedan. 3: Read the manual(when you pick up the RV, the staff will provide you the manual or user guide) carefully I found out it is very helpful as regards to how to drive a RV. 4: Always ask someone to guide you when parking it. 5: turning radius should be doubled when you turn right or left comparing to a minivan. Enjoy it. I like it very much even though it is not a easy drive like small cars. CanaDream is a good company, staff is very polite and professional. The RV I rent has about 40000km which is not bad. I will definitely rent the RV from CanaDream again and recommend it to my friends.

We booked a deal from Canadream that my wife found on their website to travel from Vancouver to Calgary. The people we dealt with right from the initial booking over the phone (I think her name was Ashley) right up until we dropped off the RV in Calgary were fantastic, and so was the deal we got on the rental. The whole experience was wonderful, and honestly the only drawback was the rather pathetic set of pots and pans that came with the RV. Next time we will bring our own. Rented a maxi motorhome for our trip to Banff and Jasper. Overall the trip went fine, but that's not without problems. On the first day when we stopped at the gas station, we realized the engine wouldn't start and later found out we had a bad battery. They got us to go into a ford dealership to get the battery replaced, but that resulted in tons of extra driving (going backwards) and half our day wasted. No compensation was provided for our inconvenience. The vehicle itself was sufficient but rather poorly built. The bug guard won't budge and was basically stuck, so we couldn't leave our door open. The bedroom sliding door wouldn't close properly because the piece it hooks onto has a loose nail. Drop off was quick, though no apologies or compensation was provided for the loss of time due to the battery problem.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Canadream. Our first RV experience, I can't recommend Canadream more highly. Very friendly and efficient service throughout. Booking a breeze, confirming our pick up and orientation simple, complimentary pick up from Vancouver airport hotel. Comprehensive and thorough run through of the RV and what you've booked and any potential restrictions/options you might want to consider thoroughly explained without any pressure. RV itself spotless, bedding, towels, kitchen utensils & welcome packs good quality. I can't fault anything about the rental process. We arranged a late drop off which I would recommend - a small surcharge but allows a very relaxed last day and very quiet arrival (I suspect getting back for the standard drop off may result in a delay in getting processed due to everybody arriving at a similar time, but that's nothing other than a guess). Even though we broke a bowl and glass, there was no replacement charge. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Canadream Vancouver....can't wait for our next trip......

According to the employee, it is possible to enter additional drivers once on a daily basis, the next one explains that this is not possible. Employees prefer to sell additional insurance and so it can happen that the supposed handover of a rental vehicle takes more than 2 hours. The shuttle, if the employee (sometimes without a name tag) is only available if you bring the appropriate waiting time. Because of these facts, you quickly lose important vacation days or rental time. It is better to switch to another provider who is also cheaper. Addendum: Canadream cannot be reached for personal answers and puts it here differently. It's a shame. Apparently you just want a quick buck. PS: If you have any questions, the "" free "" hotline with a waiting loop is always available! (Original) Man wird von Mitarbeiter zu Mitarbeiter durchgereicht wenn es Fragen gibt. Zusatzfahrer einzutragen ist einmal laut Mitarbeiter auf Tagesbasis möglich, der nächste erklärt einem, dass dies nicht möglich ist. Mitarbeiter sind lieber auf den Verkauf von Zusatzversicherungen getrimmt und so kann es gerne vorkommen, dass die vermeintliche Übergabe eines Mietfahrzeugs über 2 h benötigt. Das Shuttle, wenn der Mitarbeiter (manchmal ohne Namensschild) steht nur zur Verfügung, wenn man die entsprechende Wartezeit mitbringt. Aufgrund dieser Tatsachen verliert man schnell wichtige Urlaubstage bzw. Mietzeit. Lieber zu einem anderen Anbieter wechseln, der dann auch noch preisgünstiger ist. Nachtrag: Canadream ist für persönliche Antworten nicht zu erreichen und stellt dies hier anders da. Sehr schade. Offenbar will man nur das schnelle Geld. PS: Für Fragen steht immer gerne die ""kostenfreie"" Hotline mit Warteschleife zur Verfügung!

Uns ist eine Frau reingefahren, trotz Versicherung wurde Kreditkarte mit 1500 CAD belastet. Der Schaden wurde aber vom eigenen Sachverständigen auf 1000 CAD geschätzt. Wir sind schuldlos und warten trotzdem schon seit 4 Monaten auf die Differenz. Und die 100 CAD Bearbeitungsgebühr wurden beim Abschluss des Vertrages auch nicht erwähnt. Es nervt.... Dann schrieb hier einer, man wurde bis zum Flughafen zurück gebracht.Stimmt auch nicht, wir durften mit Sack und Pack noch Metro fahren. Service sieht ganz anders aus

I wanted to give it one star because the check-in agent named Karen was horribly rude and unhelpful!!! We had ferry reservations to goto the island and because the drive from Nanaimo to Tofino is about 5 hours, you can only book the ferry earlier in the day. The pick up at the location is in the afternoon which is inconvenient. She told us “You should have planned better”!! However, Im giving it a 3 star because Jerome at the Delta location was absolutely helpful. He let us pick up our vehicle earlier. He was kind and understanding to our situation. Not sure if we will rent again from them again since there’s a lot Of other RV places in the city.

Definitely a fan of Canadream, after spending nearly three months on the road with their vehicles this summer / fall. They are good value for money and we found them cheaper than most of the other (comparable) rental agencies. They also have excellent customer service - we encountered some problems with our unit after driving more than 1000km to Banff NP, but they had no problem with dropping off a new vehicle at our campsite two days later. We found some of the staff at the Vancouver location weren't as friendly or efficient as at some of the other locations we used, but overall we were very satisfied with the whole experience. Side note: During the summer, we spent more than a month with each of the Midi and Maxi motorhomes. Having experienced both, I would highly recommend the Midi for any situation, as it's not only cheaper but also much more convenient (and for some reason even felt more spacious) than the Maxi. The main difference for us was that the Midi actually has a lot more storage (especially inside) and kitchen space (e.g., for some reason the Maxi doesn't even have a garbage bin). The only potential downside is that the Midi requires you to slide out your bed, whereas the Maxi has a fixed bed.

The fleet is new, the center is welcoming so is the staff. From the rental days take into consideration afternoon rental delivery with delays in rv take off and you have to bring it back before 10 am it means you lose w rental days or pay extra +/-350$ for early take off or late return. Rented a MHA for 5 nights. Overall it’s a good experience: pick-up and drop-off were quick and efficient; the staff were all friendly; the RV was clean and in good condition. There was an issue with the left rearview mirror which got loose when I was driving on highway 1 and just past ironworker bridge. Because of that I lost visibility to the traffic behind me on my left side. I was finally able to find a safe place to pull over which was already after about 10 mins of driving in panic. I got off the vehicle and checked the mirror, 1 screw on the elbow where the mirror connects to the arm was loose and the mirror could spin on the arm. I called the customer service and they told me there was a screw driver in a bucket in the bathroom. Finally I was able to tighten it and continued my trip. I gave the feedback to the lady who did drop off inspection. Hope it can be treated seriously with a preventative solution in place.

The RV itself was fine. As described and as per the photos. Clean inside and out. Beds were comfortable. We booked a promotion where you dont know which vehicle you will get. However since we were a family of 5, they guaranteed that we would receive a vehicle that accomodated all 5. Although appreciated, we did have to call several times and speak with different people to have this done. I guess they assume only families of 4 or less are renting. The pickup of the vehicle was relatively painless. Be prepared for upselling of chemicals, toilet paper, insurance etc. Things I found strange or not conducive to good customer service: 1. Pickup time - late afternoon. We are ready to go, all packed....but now we are driving through rush hour traffic and most likely have missed ferry connections or check in at desired RV park. If driving north or East, you are not getting very far before dark. Wouldn't it make sense to have esrly morning pickup so customers can get to their destination? 2. Drop off time - early morning. If you have travelled more then 3 hours away and/or taken ferries, you are not likely going to be able to return the vehicle ontime and have it clean, grey and black water tanks emptied and gas fueled. Seems to be more customer friendly to have returns in the later afternoon. Because of the pickup and dropoff rules above, you will likely have to pay for additional days that you wont use. 3. Parking - we were delayed at pickup because they had no parking for customers. Street parking only and that was completely full since there are many other businesses on this street. We eventually to park several kms away at a friends business after receiving no assistance from the staff. If we didnt have that option, we would be backtracking home to drop the car off. More time wasted. 4. No one to provide or offer any basic operating instructions. They simply hand you the keys and expect that the online videos will suffice. Would have been nice customer service to have at least been asked if we had any questions. The end result for me was that this felt like buying a used car from a car lot. Lots of upselling, unnecessary fees and policies that favor the company and little regard for the needs of the customer after the purchase. They asked me when we returned the vehicle if I would refer them to friends or family and I told them that I wouldn't. The experience was not something I would want to do again and therefore its not something I can recommend.

Where to start. The truckcamper was a great camper and served us well. That is why I give 2 stars. Then Canadream as a company (1 star for Service) Camper Pick up at 15:00u forgot to Pick us up at the hotel so late at Canadream and explanation etc took a long time, ready to start the holiday after 18:00u extremely late. During the explanation they tried to sell us all kinds of unneccesary extras almost forcing us to buy it (luckely we did Not) The tank was only filled 1 quarter which is very low looking at the miles on a gallon, so first had to find a gasstation and it was already late. During the trip we found out that the explanation of the camper was incomplete or even wrong, luckily we are handy People and worked it out for ourselfs. At Drop of the tank (before 10 am, so very early) was slightly lower than the quarter at which we picked it up, so we had to pay 65 dollar, did not do that drove to a gasstation and added 13 dollar of diesel which was more than enough. Overall the personal was not very friendly (only a few were). All together we did not get a relaxed start and end of our holiday due to the way Canadream operates.

We had really good experiences renting our RV at Canadream. Everything is well arranged. We had a pick up from a sky train station. The reception at Canadream is perfect! They know how to deal smoothly with all tourists. We rented a navigation device which was already set at our language! Thats service to detail! You'll get quite an intensive detailed explaination about the rv. Note thats this takes quite some time. But its good to know all the ins and outs of the rv that you'll call home for the next weeks. The rv is in perfect condition. Ours smelled brand new. We understood that all rv's are pretty new. Of course Canadream does not want you to have troubles with your rv while beiing in the middle of nowhere. If some day we'll go back to Canada, we'll choose for Canadream again.

We rented a maxi motorhome for 11 days the first time in August paid $4500. Motorhome had no working plug-ins, couldn't use shower. Couldn't make coffee. We were compsatated 2 free night. Check in was a joke both times. So we booked for 11 days. October 16 to 27th. We went hunting in 70 mile house. When we returned the unit ,again check in is a joke We picked up until all was good till we returned the unit They told us they were taking your damage deposit of $1000. For a dog being in the unit. We don't have a dog!!! I believe their ripping people off with all there crazy issues with the wrong issues I don't and never give them another penny and never recommend them to never deal with this company. Their horrible customer service. Yeah the staff seems to always make customers feel like their opinions don't matter and the photos CanaDream took was not our unit. I believe they took photos of another unit to use as an excuse to keep the $1000 damage deposit. I don't trust anyone their and their service is pathetic.

I rented from canadream oct 2016 from Toronto to Vancouver.I had to leave the RV in BC. I have to say the staff and Tim from the Toronto location was awesome !! Also the Vancouver drop off was very nice also. I would definitely recommend them. They also upgraded my Rv from a 26 foot to a 33 foot at no extra charge. Nach mehreren Mails ..mit zugeständnis der Auszahlung von 78 Dollat aus dem Hause Canadreams wurde sie ein paar Tage später wieder zurück gezogen. Nach unseren erneuten Anfrage haben wir bis heute keine Antwort erhalten. ES ist sehr Schade, da wir auch die Police von Canusa mit geschickt haben, Viele Mitarbeiter arbeiten auf Provisionsbasis und sind auf Verichserungsabschlüsse angewiesen, aber nicht auf meine Kosten. Wir werden bestimmt noch öfters bei Canusa buchen, ob dann der Anbieter Canadream in Frage kommt ist offen. Es wurde uns auch Angst gemacht wegen der Außenreinigung des Campers, da diese komplett gereingt abgegeben müssen und es In Whitehorse angeblich keine oder schlechte Möglichkeiten gibt, war nicht war, viele Camper haben es vor Ort selbst getätigt...?Deswegen hatten wie ein komplett Paket gebucht,,haben aber den Camper von innen komplett gereingt und geleert abegeben. Es ist Schade, das so ein Unternehmen so reagiert, dies macht keinen guten Eindruck. Aus diesem Grund müüste man Sterne abziehen. Da der Camper in Ordnung war habe ich das Unterlassen. Meine Empfehlung wäre..bessere Personalschulung

This is my unsolicited review of Canadream . Words cannot describe the level of customer Service and the wonderful experience i had getting my RV repaired/ serviced at Canadream. First of all, i didn't even know that they do repairs and services on an RV . After a google search , my initial Call was with a Jerome who answered my emergency service call request , and made sure i got a call back from his Service manager . In short, I needed a new water heater replaced, as my old heater had ruptured suddenly during camp, and seals checked on my Rig as they might have potential to leak through . Vlad, service mgr, communicated with me every step of the way, and even accommodated me on a Saturday for an urgent repair basis as i had to break camp . His team , Rico , Yurri went above and beyond to make sure i felt at ease with the repairs and . WH heater replaced , rig serviced in under 2 hours and VERY reasonably priced! After the repairs , Vlad followed up with a phone call on Monday to follow up on the repairs and even recommended a few things that i could do on my own for maintenance purposes . Who does this these days ?? Most service bays would have charged me just to look for things to make recommendations. I would definitely be back for my yearly service maintenance .Thank you Canadream!!! I will be back

This place isn't a fair business they make sure you pay for your insurance deductible didn't tell me if I bumped a tree I had to report it in 24 hrs only gave me my paper work and told me to review it at my leisure and have a nice holiday . I returned the camper and had to pay for a new awning because I bumped a tree and twisted the front support . The support would have been the only thing replaced if the insurance covered it but they replaced the whole awning . $3100.00 not a reputable business because if it was important for me to report the incident which I would have had up to 2 yrs with my insurance because it wasn't an automobile accident I brushed against a tree .

Renting may be one story but when you have purchased a camper or RV through CanaDream DO NOT DO IT! The costumer service is disgusting. Yuri the gentleman doing the service was the only pleasant experience during the whole ordeal. He was very willing and was able to explain to us which was very kind. The manager on the other hand needs an adjustment in her hospitality. First off, trying to book in to get an awning and electric jacks installed was an awful game of phone tag. Vlad would tell me he had me booked in on his calendar to phone me and he did not. I got quoted one price and was given another. Now my boyfriend and I understand that accidents happen, when the services were being done the ladder they put over his truck scratched the side. The reaction to us explaining what happened was disgusting. The female manager (don't remember her name) decided to only take my boyfriend in the back to show her the scratch, this is where they tried to interrogate our integrity. My boyfriend came back quite frustrated and explained that they tried to team up and a guy who was not even involved tried to come up and tell him that it was impossible to scratch his truck with the ladder and brought the ladder around and showed it could not have touched his truck, my boyfriend told them to turn the ladder around as it was not the direction that the ladder was in during the event and sure enough it line exactly up to where the scratch was. As you can imagine they thought they were cleaver enough to get away with it but hard to deny when things line up. In the end I think we got a discount of 200$ of our over 3000$ bill but that came along with attitude and stress.

Sogar als festgestellt wurde, dass wir das Fahrzeug mit zuwenig Treibstoff zurückgeben, wurde uns die Möglichkeit eröffnet, doch noch schnell zur nächsten Tankstelle zu fahren und nachzutanken, anstatt die im Vertrag ausgewiesenen 65,- CAD zu bezahlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr kompetent. Das Fahreug war in einem Top-Zustand. Ich würde jederzeit wieder bei CanaDream ein Fahrzeug mieten.

(Translated) We received an excellent and very young camper for our stay in Canada in September / October. Pickup and return were absolutely smooth. There is free Wi-Fi and coffee on site. The arrival by public transport from Vancouver City is very tiring, but in the end it worked without any problems. Unfortunately there were still hair in the shower and next to the mattress in the camper. Unfortunately, we felt a bit ill prepared for the upcoming travel days with temperatures below freezing, but received many useful tips by phone to prevent damage to the camper (heating on, emptying tanks, filling in frog remedies). Otherwise many staff were very helpful and friendly, others unfortunately not at all. Since the positive points and the great price-performance ratio convince we would always rent a camper again. (Original) Wir haben für unseren Kanada-Aufenthalt im September/Oktober einen hervorragenden und sehr jungen Camper erhalten. Abholung und Rückgabe verliefen absolut reibungslos. Vor Ort gibt es gratis WLAN und Kaffee. Die Anreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln aus Vancouver City gestalte sich als sehr anstrengend, hat aber letztlich doch problemlos geklappt. Leider befanden sich im Camper noch Haare in der Dusche und neben der Matratze. Auf die bevorstehenden Reisetage mit Minusgraden haben wir uns leider etwas schlecht vorbereitet gefühlt, erhielten aber per Telefon viele nützliche Tipps um einer Beschädigung des Campers vorzubeugen (Heizung an, Tanks leeren, Froschutzmittel einfüllen). Ansonsten waren viele Mitarbeiter/innen sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, andere leider überhaupt nicht. Da die positiven Punkte sowie das tolle Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis überzeugen würden wir hier jederzeit wieder einen Camper mieten.

the old receptionist at the front desk was very rude, which made them lose out on a sale. I'd suggest going to Canada cruise, they are very nice and helpful with all of my needs, and they are way cheaper!!!! They are also right down the road!!

Nicely run camper rental company. People were helpfull and kind. Also no problems at collecting the camper and returning the camper. They know what they are doing and who they are doing it for. We had a smaller van, which is perfect for a couple and very nice to drive around with.
