Great store, great service, however; when you go through the till watch they don't seriously over charge you. $17 for a watermelon, whoops! They also forget to give you coupon points. I know it's a fairly new store, so hopefully that changes!

Smaller building but just as many groceries as bigger Save On Foods buildings. I've found this is possible by making the width of aisles skinnier to accommodate the volume of products. No self checkout but the employees sort and bag alot better than I can so I can't complain about that..lol

Save on Foods have savings every 2 weeks so you can shop and save every week! They have alot of different kinds of groceries. I had wonderful help when my husband wanted social tea biscuits! I was amazed, thank you to Maureen. When I want something special I go Save on . They always have it. So if you want something special go to Save on. The prices are reasonable for Covid and the staff are friendly and helpful. I love Fort St James.

Overpriced even with their member card. Went to 3 different grocery stores for an item and found it at all 3 of them and save on was the highest. As well I noticed most of their food was a higher price. So far customer service has been good so that's why it's a 3.

Cashier was very kind but did not know how to activate gift cards. I purchased 2 gift cards, had to wait a long time because they couldn't figure it out. When I got home I realized the other card had not been activated properly but the other did and I was charged twice for the same gift card.

Brand new store and it looks fantastic! Its great to have another option for groceries in Dawson Creek. Parmacy hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM so if you need a prescription filled you can't do it on the weekend. I was told that pharmacy hours will expand once additional staff are hired. Staff are still learning and a bit nervous but everyone is really friendly. There is an in-store seating if you want to grab any of the prepared foods and eat before you shop. You can also shop online and pick your order up all packed and ready to go.

Check the expiry date Know your prices before you go in Sanitize the carts and wash your hands when you leave You might get sprayed by the produce freshener so you need ninja reflexes in that section

This is a nice store, no doubt about it but the customer service sucks. Friday I was told I did not need a Save on More card to receive the sale prices, there was a "master" store card that is always available and she scanned it. On Sunday, I returned to the store and told them about the card and I was told that it was only available, "If you're from out of town, like, if you're in Vancouver..at the hospital." Funny, I was told on Friday, here in Dawson Creek, in this very store that it would "always be available." Safeway does not require you to join their program to receive the sale price, needless to say I will continue to do my shopping there.

the music is annoying my boyfriend and I always guest what's playing before we walk into the store, one of us is usually right on the artist playing. Its dark in side they should clean the paint off the windows .... I love the cashiers most of them theres one that should just go home. most of everyone who works there is nice and helpful!

The one thing that makes me angriest with Save on Foods is the fact they sell bulk things at competitor prices, but with less content either by weight or count. For instance, they sell pop for $1 more per case, but instead of 24 can, they have 20. That's 20% less for 15% more money. Also the amount of times I've purchased seemingly fresh food only to have it rot over night or be rotten in the middle of the case is shocking. Over priced, terrible products, and questionable produce. Avoid if possible.

I used the online delivery service via the save on foods app. Browse the app. Select the food. Reserve a time slot. Pay. Then an email tells you to go to the store at the time and phone them to let them know you are there. Then this really nice lady brings the food and loads it into your car. Easiest most enjoyable grocery shopping experience of my life. No line ups. No crowds. Highly recommend.

Not enough staff to help with self check out. For the price of SaveOn food, there should be SaveOn service. Places was messy and needed cleaning and dedicated self check out staff to disinfect in between customers. Not impressed with the management at Dawson Creek SaveOn foods.

I have been shopping @ Saveon for 6 yrs now and enjoy it. I love how sometimes you'll find the neatest non grocery items they bring in year round. It's very clean, well stocked and the cashiers are always helpful and friendly. With having to shop for 7 people it's perfect for me. Love not having to find a loonie for a cart!

A fairly recent competitor in the Dawson Creek grocery market having just opened in early 2019, Save On has started off right. Great service, comparable prices and (best of all) high quality produce! Deli meat prices are significantly lower than other major distributors as well and the bakery and meat departments are strong. Overall great experience when shopping there, they even offer a kids program where there is fresh fruit at the from of the store to keep kiddos occupied while getting your things done. Was not happy with this store during the covid 19 pandemic they do not offer washrooms to public nore douse 99 percent of the town i am very discussed with the town in general as the nehbouring town vanderhoof has many open washrooms to the public as they have staff sanitizing and restricting people in washrooms but your still able to use them as their is a need for public bathrooms

Don't have to pay for a shopping cart. Lots of parking. Friendly staff. Very clean store, moderately priced although some items are way more expensive here than other stores even if you use your More Rewards card. I love that they sell plants! They have the best 'made in store' sandwiches in town. It's nice that it's right beside the mall. They're also open until 10pm which is handy.
