Nowadays this firm has a rating of 1.2 out of 5 and that score is based on 13 reviews.
As you can read, it reaches an reviews average is really low, and it is founded on an average of scores, so the evaluation is rationally credible, although it doesn't have a sufficient amount of evaluations to give it absolute credibility.
You know that we do not usually bother to put reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Translator belongs to the category of Car rental agency.
Seriously? A down deposit and you HAVE to have a credit card? What on earth is the point of a deposit if you Need a credit card? Every other company I dealt with only needs the credit card. No deposit. Talk about doing their best to be inaccessible. Disgusting to force your customers to pay a deposit and force them to use a credit card too. Pathetic.
Worst customer service ever. She has absolutely zero phone etiquette, she would rather complain about how cold it is and what else she has to do than do the walk around of the vehicle. Couldn't be bothered to actually meet up for the drop off. 0% professionalism. Do not go here!!!
Hard to contact. Service lacked in many areas, particularly friendly. Did not offer recommendations of what might be a better option. More bang for my buck. IT was "Take it or Leave it" Attitude! Prices were a bit high for the limited mileage.
I would give this agency no stars if that was an option. I was discussing renting a vehicle for two weeks with the agent when her phone rang. She took the call and instead of asking the caller to either hold or call later, she proceeded to discuss the rental of a vehicle for that caller, leaving me standing . She carried on with the conversation and was still talking when I left..after five minutes. This is unacceptable .Obviously I will not try to rent from this company in future, nor will I recommend the company.
Great customer service
The tires on the vehicle I rented were so worn out it was dangerous. I tried to exchange the vehicle as it was an icy winter day. They told me they didn't have any additional vehicles. Terrible rude staff. Avoid this place.
Customers can rent and return their vehicles to other service centers located almost everywhere in BC. The basic needs of a car rental can be found in their service.
Service was good. The car was quite new. It had winter tires. One of my more positive car rental experiences.
Customer service was great. About 900$ to take a car from Prince Rupert to Prince George.
What I have come to witness over the past couple of years has gone on long enough. The local National Car Rental is doing their car clean ups in an alternate location. These cars are being raced back and forth between the store and the garage where they are cleaned. I understand that the two locations are a distance from one another, although that does not mean speeding and failing to stop are acceptable. We are all to blame for bad driving habits from time to time, but when someone does it daily and is getting paid to do so, I feel even worse for worthy individuals that are unemployed.
Very nice and friendly staff. The only rental car company in Prince Rupert
Got my car rental because I had to go to Prince George for the night and I had that I was returning it the next evening. Returned it the next evening clean without a scratch before the time I had claimed it for. no one was in the office to accept it so I put the key in the return slot. Weeks later I just got charged today for 453.00 which is more than double what it was supposed to be (178.00). Is by far the worst service and worst experience I’ve ever had renting a car. Do not rent from here
Worst experience ever getting a rental - booked onllne and it was an hour process to once again give all of my personal information. I was charged more than the online quote and the employee did not explain, he did absolutely nothing to find a response for me. I emailed mgmt, three weeks later still no response. I suggest you go next door over and use Avis, I would have but by the time I was about to the Avis employee was t available and I'd already wasted an hour.
Gets the job done.
My experience was excellent with this national car rental, when I picked up there was two amazing staff who were an absolute delight to have behind the counter. I was even upgraded from a compact car to a full size, and when I returned the staff was quick and on the ball getting me out the door to catch my flight out! Would recommend to anyone coming to visit the area, rent from this amazing establishment.
Worst service imaginable. Do not rent or return without someone going over the vehicle! I had it for 2 days was charged for 3, charged more in damage insurance. I got it at a half tank, wasn’t marked on my agreement, and they charged me the extra to refuel it even though it was returned with more than I got it at. Never sent an email copy of receipt! Took total advantage of us as to why we needed to rent a vehicle in the first place! Go to FSJ or GP to rent a vehicle. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION
Great service
By far the worst car rental experience I have ever had. I travel extensively with a national and provincial sport organization and can confidently say that I will never do business with National car rental Prince Rupert ever again. I will fly into Terrace and drive since National is the only option, before I will give this company any further business. I will also caution friends, family and colleagues to avoid renting a car from this particular business at all cost. The woman working was incredibly rude. She was clearly miserable in her job. Quite frankly I’m surprised she has a job. I felt bad for the younger girl working beside this lady for having to work with her. She seemed hesitant and apologetic for her coworkers behaviour. When I picked up the car rental a week ago I had the same lady I did when I returned the car. After my first encounter I figured perhaps she was just having a rough day and chalked it down as that. When I returned the car a week later her poor attitude and hostility was the same. Car rental is as much about customer service and decency as it is about the provision of a vehicle to patrons. I genuinely hope that management does a thorough job of retraining this worker as she currently has no business in representing a worldwide company like National. I expect better. People expect better.
Worst of of the worst place on the surface of the earth to rent a car. I rented a car the night before and it was approved. I showed up the next morning to pick it up, she was not at the office. She showed up half an hour late just to let me know that they were no cars available. I waited in that airport for 6 hours before they were a car available. I had to call her from home to let her know they was a car available. She came to the airport with her first class disgusted attitude and rented me the worst car imaginable. The car's windshield was so badly cracked you can barely see through it. They were scratches and dents all over it. I had to get to Grand Prairie real bad so I had no other choices. I told her I was going to Grand Prairie and she did not mention anything about drop off fees. When the bill came it was something like $700 Stay away people. You are better off hitch hiking.
Such a great business. Deidre was able to help me get into a vehicle as quick as possible. Service with a smile and great personality.
Tried to return the car but no one was there. Website says they are open until 10 pm it’s 7 pm and I can’t return the car. There isn’t even a drop off slot for the keys
Worst car rental company, owned by a private individual. They charge you .38cents a kilometre, unlike any other rental company in the peace region. Stay away if you don’t read the fine print you end up with a nice big bill. Use Enterprise or Budget! At least you pay what you get quoted. The staff at the grande prairie location are beyond rude as well. Same vehicle at enterprise in Dawson would of been $400 cheaper!
This is the worst rental company to date and fraudulent! The car itself was fine, the lady was horrible, i had my vehicle in at gm getting work done and they gave me a vehicle from national in the mean time, i used my credit card as security which is fine and gm was to cover the bill for the rental... all good! I used the car for the 4 days and returned it on dec 15th... keep 15th in mind, she then proceded to charge my cc the entire bill and gm was charged the same lol. I went to gm and said hey i was charged what gives... national said ooops and told gm that they have refunded my card... i checked for 2 weeks making sure it was not a delayed transaction and so on... it wasnt, so after another week of being told it has been refunded i checked again and nothing.... this whole time waisting my time, effort, looking like a fool and paying interest on a transaction that should have NEVER taken place... finally after telling her i will get a lawyer and so on it was magically refunded the next day January 16th some 32 days after claiming it was refunded! But, i still never got any reimbursement for the interest due this whole time. This lady is going to gouge whatever way she can and try to double up clearly... im afraid of how many people may have happened to already. I want nothing to do with this place ever and hope i can spread the word... even if its offered to you be extremely weary! Id give a negative if i could
Beware. No walk around because they have "no manpower" then they'll charge you 1,000 dollars and hang up on you. Avoid at all costs.
