Never open when people are getting off work, 5pm never works for anyone in the oil & gas industry. Basically one has to take time off just to go into the bank. This is an industry town there should be banks open late at least until 6pm or 7pm.

Whether I'm greeted with a hello or a smile I genuinely feel I matter to my local branch, and that is important to me - If the lines are long, the greetings and smiles help. Nice workers, most are very helpful and knowledgeable, a few need some updating on some of the new products they offer. I was looking to set up a certain account but was informed by a worker that they didn't have what I was looking for , I knew they did as it said so online. I had to go to Sydney to sign up, later I was told in Glace Bay that they do offer the product and have for a little bit

Often as long lineup to see tellers. Last 2 times there was only 2 out of 6 tellers working..don't plan on doing much banking on your lunch hour!

Worst branch with worst customer service. If the branch manager calls me i will definitely provide some insight. - staff doesnt know how to acknowledge waiting customer - too busy in talking among each other instead of serving the customer - being a new resident in Grande prairie, i will look for another banking services.

Absolutely terrible service by the manager in particular. The teller I had was great and courteous, but when needed for a currency exchange, the manager avoided helping me saying that she shouldn't still be there. It was 5pm and they were open until 7pm. I won't use that branch ever again and will probably switch banks. They have some of the highest fees in the industry and as Canadians we are one of the highest paying in the world, I expect above and beyond service. Pathetic.

Teller service closed at 4 so employees are just sitting behind a counter for an hour before close? Pretty terrible customer service given this is the busiest time of the year. It's understandable that covid has put some limitations on business but it must be nice to be paid to sit at a desk and just refuse customers...

Worst customer service I have ever recieved anywhere, disgusting service fees from cibc and very poor staff at this location, closing my account tomorrow, would not recommend Cibc to anyone planning on keeping their money, when asked to reverse some of the $70 of service charges I was charged because of them not switching my account over and they made me wait 2 hours for an apointment just to switch the account and not reimburse me anything, searches on the internet reveal CIBC is easily the worst bank in Canada, do not start an account here or at any CIBC location.

Parminder has completly changed the branch. The old manager was way over her head. Disrespectful and unitelligent. Parminder was not only able to win my mortgage renewal but has gotten more of my business. When they move him I will be following him.

I changed over to this branch 6+ years ago and I do not regret it at all. From the tellers to the branch manager, Parminder Ghuman, they have treated me with the upmost respect and valued my business over the years. I highly recommend this bank, especially this branch!

Why oh why can't you guys offer one at least one night that you are open a little later?? This bank used to offer one night a week (Thursdays) where they were open until 7pm. I get that Covid happened and things changed. But most institutions have gone back to regular hrs now or at least offer one late open, but not you guys. Its pathetic. I've waited in long lineups during my lunchbreak, only to have to leave without getting my business done in order to make it back to work in time

I was told I couldn't be helped at this bank and that I need to phone and do everything online. Went to the other CIBC in town and they were incredibly helpful and made my payment transfer no problem.

Probably worst bank in town. Always slow service inside. You lose access to the instant teller when they close or the homeless harass you for money right at the machine.
