The walk from the parking lot is a quite quick! Lots of trails, clean outhouse and the views are excellent. The suspension bridge has high railings and is surrounded by chainlink! Very safe but if you are any thing like me, your stomach will turn when you take your first step on to the bridge haha The views from both the bridge and the Lower deck provide an incredible vantage point showcasing a mesmerizing waterfall that crashes into the creek below. Id love to return one day soon!!
Easy walk from the parking lot to the suspension bridge across the Campbell River gorge. Great view of Elk Falls from the bridge.
Great short walk to do with the family! 20 mins through the forest and ending at an amazing waterfall and of course the suspension bridge.
It's a small trek down the path but stairs to the bridge. Beautiful area to see. A huge sarcastic thanks to the one couple who's dog was let off leash and bit my mom in the leg. Their reaction was to ignore it and say nothing.
An amazing way to view the falls
Great easy accessible hike for the family. There are a few other trails around if you want to explore a little more in a much quieter setting. Picnic tables, outhouses, paved parking lot.
This is a spitaular spot
Beautiful experience to be visiting it!
It was pouring down rain but amazing! The walk is pretty easy to get there.
For those unexpected visitors and a what to see in a short period of time, this is the place! Trails and streams to spectacular Elk Falls are viewed from a subtle bouncing suspension bridge. You’ll be sure to visit again rain or shine!
Not far off the highway. Just enough walk for a stretch. Beautiful with sturdy suspension bridge. Need some trash bins along the way, I accidently left my coffee cup after putting it down for a pic.
One of the best falls on Vancouver Island. Worth going if you are in Campbell river.
Pretty amazing veiws !
Like this one better than the one in Vancouver
I've loved this trail since I was a kid. And with the new additions and upgrades from BChydro it is only that much better. The trail isn't difficult and it is well maintained.
Easy hike and amazing views!
So cool. A bit sketchy, but it's clear that it's well maintained. Wings quite a bit which is gun if bridges don't scare you. Definitely recommend. Photo taken from the bridge.
Nice trails, many posts with descrition...totally free no hacks
Awesome. I'm from nova scotia on a trip. Was great.
Beautiful. Definitely recommend you go and see if you have a spare hour.
Any time u can get down there is well worth it
Good signage, ample parking, easy walk to the bridge and falls viewing area
Beautiful area to spend a few hours. Pack a picnic to eat on the rocks at the bottom of the river. I found this trail a little bit more difficult than Little Qualicum falls but worth the muscle pain the next day. I don't like heights but the suspension bridge was cool as well.
A beautiful and small suspension bridge that gave thrills and chills and a great view of Elk Falls.
Great walk up to the bridge! Beautiful woods, and a very cool view!
Nice trail. Well maintained. Lots of parking. Decent amount of people. Restrooms accessible
This is great easy walk for the whole family that has a few rewarding viewing platforms. Great place to show visiting family and friends.
Beautiful park! Great hiking! I do warn dog owners the metal bridge and steps can tear dogs pads to shreds. Please be aware the metal on the steps and bridge is Sharpe on their feet.
Great walk, beautiful falls, amazing views, and the bridge was spectacular.
No too scary. It's quite stable and the views from the bridge are amazing.
One of Campbell Rivers very best features. The crew who built the stairs, trails and bridges did an amazing quality job. Well worth the walk and bring a good camera.
Cute little suspension bridge!! If you're in the area I would recommend checking it out. There is a viewing dock that faces the water fall and it's amazing to see how steep it is. The suspension bridge does not sway back and forth and is rather sturdy. It's like a mini version of the ones in greater Vancouver.
Very impressive views, excellent trails, bridge wasn't very scary tho
Great long hike. Lots of downhill and then uphill walking. Beautiful place to go if you love walking and nature.
I thought it was pretty neat and the view was awesome.
Easy Access to the falls. Well maintained trails.
Absolutely amazing place. Very crazy in the winter season!!!
Beautiful scenery, only a few minutes drive from the centre of Campbell River. Well maintained pathways so easy access in all seasons
Always a nice walk
One of the best things to see in Campbell river. There are many things to do and see this is one of these.
Easy, walk on trails, beautiful falls. You can get right down to the water.
In the top 5 for waterfall experiences on Vancouver Island. Breathtaking. Especially with the addition of the suspension bridge. If you’re planning a trip to Strathcona Park this is right on the way. 2 kms our of Campbell River, 47kms more just to the entrance of the park. A must stop scenic adventure. Very worthwhile.
Great walking trails
Very cool
An amazing place to experience. A visit to this place is highly recommended
Awesome little walk right outside Campbell River! If you're visiting the area, you can stay at the campground just down the highway. An awesome experience any time of year!
Cute & little. Must visit place in Campbell river. Thank you to BC Hydro program.
The new addition is awesome. We walked all the trails and enjoyed every view. Construction in the area was a distraction getting in, but not within the park.
Awesome place to check out if your going through campbell river. The view is amazing and the walk is easy. Great place to bring kids, friends, a date or even your pet
Visit this place if you are in Campbell River. Not too far from the hwy. This location is kind of not marked very well. GPS was also not clear. Drove all the way over a dam and then asked a few locals and got directed back to this place. So note this when you go here. Beautiful area and the suspension bridge is great too with various viewing areas.
I bring everyone that visits me up to this beautiful scenery. It's just a great, quick, easy hike (took my 2 year old nephew) and the waterfall is just stunning during the fall and winter months when there is a lot of water running.
Very nice place to take the kids for a walk.
Awesome views, I miss living near here!
Beautiful area with a suspension bridge for people who love heights lol
Elk Falls is only 10 minutes out of town and yet feels like it's in the middle of a lush rainforest environment. There's lots of RV parking and the trail is a very easy 10 minute hike to the bridge. Definitely worth stopping for a rest if you're headed up island.
Great park, I saw a group of unicorns shooting a music video. the falls are also breathtaking, on a nice sunny day, they make the most amazing rainbows! This place is great to go for a hike, a super magickal forest!
Great scenary, well serviced path and suspension bridge is very sturdy.
The bridge was pretty neat!!
Nice views, enjoyed the trail to the canyon view bridge, it was very calm and not crowded at all. Elevation drops towards that 2nd bridge, so might consider going down there with a wheelchair/stroller. Looking forward to the new canyon trail opening up soon.
Getting better every time we visit !
Parking is very convenient. It is not a far hike down to the falls and the suspension bridge. Beautiful water fall, trails are nice and well maintained. Highly recommend to others that want to see something beautiful that doesnt take up a whole day.
For $46 Canadian dollars you can walk across the Capilano Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver or for $0 you can walk across the Elk Fall Suspension Bridge. Here's an opportunity to walk across a super fun suspension bridge that neighbour's the incredibly beautiful Elk Falls. It's a short and easy walk from the parking lot - perfectly suitable for all ages. Four legged family members may be a bit scared of the perforated metal walk ways, so consider leaving them at home if they're not the adventurous type. Rain may deter some, but consider that Elk Falls truly come to life during intense winter precipitation.
Supremely cool. Beautiful natural setting with just the right amount of human interference. You can still get great views without crossing the bridge, but if you can, your really should go to the other side, justv to say you did.
Awesome place to take out of town guests????
Pretty cool view from the bridge on either side. There are a couple of other vantage points of the falls around the trails that are better than the suspension bridge itself. A few pools for swimming further upstream looked nice too.
This place ia wonderful. Took my kids around the trail and it is easy enough for them to follow. The view of the falls from the lower view point is unreal. The suspension bridge offers you a great view of the canyon. The trail surrounding the area will take you close to the river. I'd do the trail again with my family if I'm ever in the area.
Gorgeous views. Cannot go wrong hiking down to a raging waterfall.
Awesome walk thru the forest to amazing views!
Great place to get out into nature.
Fun spot! There is whole network of trails in this park. We only had time for the suspension bridge. Nice park.
Always a nice little walk with a great payoff at the bridge!
Worth the trip!
Awesome views of elk falls with updated paths, parking suspension bridge and viewing areas. A must see if you're in the area.
Nice little walk for families. Don't except too much
Nice short walk for the family
Lovely scenery. It’s no Grand Canyon but impressive and no cost for parking.
Well built bridge. Doesn’t wobble side to side much. Doesn’t bounce around too much either. Views are good from the bridge.
Amazing place, great views! And the kids loved it
Spectacular location .... Beautiful in the summer but better after some good rains.
Beautiful area and definitely a great walk.
Nice experience. Loved the suspension bridge, decent hieght.
Amazing view.
I love the Elk falls and the new, well newish now,. Is always a beautiful ???? walk. The stairs are challenging as I have bad knees but oh so worth the climb. The views from the bridge and lookout points are stellar. I first walked along the Falls and the river over 10 years ago and have appreciated the changes and improvements that have been made over the years.
Beautiful trail, easy walking
Great family area...lots of trails to follow and.beautiful scenery!
Beautiful place to visit. Lots of trails to explore and amazing lookout points! Can't wait to visit again
Love the New Suspension Bridge! Fresh crisp and clean. I'll be back !
The bridge is fantastic. Thanks Rotary! There is a lot of stairs. The view is amazing! Short walk from parking lot. In my latest photo...people are not to smart to get that close....scary!
Great place to stop for a little walk.
Great view of the falls from the bridge. Short 15 minute walk.
Great views sturdy and fun suspension bridge!
Beatiful fall with rainbow included
Great picnic spot.
AWESOME! Great little hike down to the bridge with all new stairs and a viewing platform as well as the bridge. Go when the water is at its highest for a powerful experience.
The falls is one of the beautiful falls I have ever visited. If you are going to park near the falls, then it takes only 15 minutes to reach the falls. But I would suggest people to take the trail road and then reach the falls. It is a good moderate hike especially for the people who goes from beginner hike to moderate ones
Stunning views and assessable trails make for a great day out!
Great place to visit.
25Meter in length. Capilano in Vancouver is 140meter in length. Beautiful place to visit.
Stunning area to visit and hike!
Why pay for Capilano Suspension Bridge it you can do is for free on the island? ♥️
Beautiful scenery!
Absolutely stunning. So magical. Beautiful place to meditate. I will upload the falls pictures soon
Really enjoyed the trails and the BC Hydro trailer with the information about the John Hart Dam. Definitely worth the stop
Great place to go for a walk and see the scenary. Waterfall , River , suspension bridge . All very beautiful
Nice easy walk.quiet. not busy before noon. Great view from suspension bridge.
Love this place. Serene, beautiful, magical, inspiring. Omg the water was crazy. So much volume.
Good place.
A nice little scenic stroll
Nice short hike, a bit of elevation gain on the return so you need some fitness. Terrific waterfall and great view of it from the bridge.
Cool place
Spectacular suspension bridge. Wonderful trails. Excellent falls and viewpoints.
Beautiful walk through a forest to a striking waterfall. Several benches along the wheelchair-friendly path. There are stairs to get to the last portion of the walk, however.
Amazing looking place. The bridge is a great draw and the walks are incredible and look astonishing. Wish they were slightly better sign posted. Plenty of space for a swim in crystal clear waters.
Good views of the falls, short walk on new and well maintained path to the suspension bridge.
Great hike, easy to moderate, despite rain a great afternoon under the Douglas fir.
Very pretty, nicely kept trails. We always take family when they're visiting and our cat loves the railings. Bridge is easy to get to and provides quite the view of the river. Definitely not for those afraid of heights but there's a nice viewing platform as well if the bridge is too much.
Beautiful walk to elk falls. Did the entire10k loop. The falls themselves drop a hundred feet. The spension bridge crosses the gorge and overlooks the falls. The bridge is stable and confidence inspiring - for those afraid of heights. I''m not sure what I love more - the walk through the rainforest or the view of the falls. Bring water and be prepared for a good hike. There are picknick tables. If you're in the area, it's a must see.
Lots of hiking trails around. Your options are to hike a few KMs or simply get to the falls in about 10 minutes from the parking lot. Stairs will take you to see the falls and unfortunately there is no wheelchair access to the falls. The suspension bridge does not wobble much, very sturdy. Once on rhe other side you cannot see the fall from the platform however Mother Nature is still beautiful.
This is a modern, well engineered and well built walking bridge. The short hike from parking is easy and there is a lookout nearby that is accessible. Once you arrive near the bridge, there are many levels of steps to get down to the bridge itself. To the right is a viewing platform for those not brave enough to venture out on the suspension bridge; those who do walk the bridge are rewarded with fantastic views and the knowledge they did it! Crossing the bridge puts you at a second viewing area with no place else to go, so you must cross the bridge again and experience the gentle swaying (unless others are jumping and moving to make it sway as much as possible! Kudos to the visionaries who made this a reality. It is a true gem.
A small walk to get the the bridge and it's so amazing
Very cool! The bridge barely even wobbles for those that are afraid of heights.
Very cool view of the falls, easy hike down to the falls area...careful with the stairs and walking on the bridge...it can get slippery.
Great walk up from the river if you want some exercise. You can then watch the salmon fishermen. Its certainly a big bridge and the new platforms make for excellent viewing.
Amazing an awesome hike love this place so much
Easy walk to the falls. Maybe 10 minutes. Well kept trails. Lots of trails to choose from. Suspension bridge was cool. Not scary at all. Beautiful scenery all over the place.
Amazing place. Trails are very well kept. Very easy walk to suspension bridge. Map board at trail head is very clear.
Great place to take family for a tour and we love to walk the dogs here too!
A delightful walk to view a spectacular waterfall and old growth forest. The history lesson was a bonus. One has to be impressed by the vision someone had to initiate and complete such an amazing project in the early 1940s. An the vision continues with the recent upgrading of the power generators. But that his another story. There are various walks for almost all levels of fitness. There were elderly walkers and families navigating the paths with strollers. Just be aware that there are multiple flights of stairs if one wishes to access the suspension bridge. but the bridge is only ONE feature in this park. The paths are also popular with dog walkers. Though on-leash is the park policy, it does not appear to be enforced. If you are uncomfortable with free roaming pets, beware. Take the time to visit the information centre adjacent to the parking lot. It gives a very good pictorial history of this visionary project and subsequent evolution. The staff is enthusiastic and well informed.
Amazing bridge, stunning views and sounds.
Scenic spot, but the metal bridge infrastructure doesn't fit the scenery. I guess it is built that way for added safety and longevity, just too bad it has to look so industrial.
Nice walk on a good smooth path. A short walk not too steep. The suspension bridge spans a deep ravine with a spectacular falls. A lower observation deck gives a great vantage of the falls. Be aware of the metal stairs and bridge. It is designed to be walkable in damp conditions. Several people brought dogs which is not advisable unless you can carry them. The deck is spikey with galvanized metal. Was extremely uncomfortable for the canines little feet. It is a nice spot to go to cool off in the summer with the shade of the trees and cool mist of the torrent.
Such a beautiful place! I hope to go back one day!
Easy and short walk from the parking lot! Great view of the waterfall from the middle of the suspension bridge as well as from a lower lookout point adjacent to the bridge.
Good look outs to the waterfalls, and nice suspension bridge all is for free
Such a great place to visit at Strathcona Provincial Park area, great trail and fantastic falls.
Beautiful place. Finally have a chance to visit it
Very good
Easy hike from parking to the falls and the suspension bridge. And the view from the middle of the bridge overlooking the gorge is gorgeous ????
A stunning nice place Just be aware the toilets are pit although there are a lot of them and all are designed so well and nice still there are some issues with them... ???????????? The other problem was that we couldn’t find any water fountain or any faucet or anything around there Except for those, the place is very nice and worth to visit specially the view of the falls at the end of the short easy hike
Worth the drive and the hike into the site. The river makes a sharp left hand turn immediately after rolling over the falls, and it's produced an interesting chasm below the bridge. New and well maintained structures help to alleviate the usual suspension bridge related apprehension many might experience.
A short walk along well maintained trail. The falls are magnificent as is the Suspension Bridge. Several other short trails are in the area and all are very well marked. There are maps at every trail intersection. Very impressed! Parking lot is easy to find on Brewster Road. Outhouses and BC Hydro Information Centre there as well and just a couple minutes drive to the dam.
Great little spot for a fairly easy hike through some old growth forest and then you get blown away by this incredible canyon with a good sized waterfall! Its a must see if you are in the area, highly recommend!
Don't listen to the naysayers: There's nothing "artificial" or "lame" about the suspension bridge or waterfall! I guess if you were spoiled by Capilano or Lynn Valley, you might be expecting something grandiose, but what you have here is a decent, pleasant hike to a lovely series of steps and bridges that brings you to a lovely bridge over a picturesque valley, with the roaring Elk Falls to the left. I loved the hike and was utterly mesmerised by the waterfall. I highly recommend the trip for everyone and look forward to coming back myself one day.
Nice short hike with great views of the waterfall.
Beautiful forested path leads down to the suspension bridge and observation point overlooking the falls. There are many stairs involved ..but they have wisely placed nice benches along the path to relax and enjoy the scenery and trees. Its spectacular and worth the effort.
Awesome bridge! Great view of the falls.
Was very cool to see.
Forest and Nature Gorgeous ???? ❤ ✨. Elk Suspension Bridge absolutely ???? outstanding. Strongly recommended for visiting ???? ???? ???? ???? ????
We walked from the elk falls provincial campground with our 5 year old. It was much farther than we thought but well worth the hike. You can also be more simple and drive to the parking lot and walk there within minutes. The bridge is in perfect repair and the view is incredible. The actual falls are powerful and breath taking. Enjoy!
Great place!!
Beautiful place for a walk
Awesome viewing areas, with a nice easy hike from a nice parking area. Just know that there is a lot of stairs!
Beautiful and a great hike through nature at its finest. Well marked maps, clean bathrooms on hand. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a beautiful day in nature.
awesome place!
Great spot for a short scenic walk!
When you are scared of highs but the view is too good to pass..
Beautiful trails and easy access. Lots of parking. Work was being done but did not interfere with enjoying the walk or the scenery
Elk Falls is an amazing gem!! The suspension bridge adds a whole new perspective to your experience. The walking trails are well maintained and the area is clean and respected by users. There is quite a large staircase system to access the suspension bridge and viewing platform, but the falls can easily be viewed from the walking trails. If you find yourself in Campbell River or area, a stop at Elk Falls should be in order.
A beautiful waterfall if you are in the area, definitely not worth a special drive...
Beautiful.
The walking was pleasant, a very easy walk and the fall is magnificent.
Nice trail walk, great view of the falls from the suspension bridge and lookout.
Powerful waterfalls and forest views. Spectacular.
Not for the faint of heart
Beautiful view, scary but amazing, it was fairly busy. Only a short walk away from the road. Will visit again.
Great place to go for an easy walk
Great spot for a short hike and view of the canyon and bridge!
Breathingly beautiful
Definitely a must-see well worth the drive and the effort short walk 5 minutes from the parking lot easy access for wheelchair excetera
Nice short walk with rewarding view.
Fantastic view of the falls now that the new viewing area has been completed. Well made, the suspension bridge allows for a unforgettable experience.
About a 15 minute walk to the bridge and falls!
Short nice walk to the falls. It's not Niagara but definitely one of the nicer things to do in the campbell river if you don't wanna sit in the your side crummy hotel. ????
Wonderful easy hiking trails great with kids.
Easy walk from parking lot and wheel chair friendly as far as the top viewing area at the of the stairs that descend to the lower viewing platform. It is definately worth the ten minute walk.
Short walk, fantastic views
Stunning spot.
Lovely way to see the waterful. For a suspension bridge it's very stable. High sides with wire fencing. The floor is corrugated steel.
Fantastic forest and wondrous waterfall
Scenic hike from the parking lot down to the waterfalls, it's about a ten-minute drive from Campbell River. The bridge is new I wish people would pick up after themselves.
Very scenic walk, only wish it was longer.
suspension bridge is right next to elk falls. The view is amazing. The bridge got see through bottoms and sides, and people who is afraid of heights probably have a hard time to cross.
Thanks Rotary Club for the Bridge.
Beautiful part of Vancouver Island! Easy walking trails to the falls. Heads up though, there are stairs.
Beautiful day for a nice stroll to the suspension bridge . Amazing views !!!
free to contact. you can take a walk in 15 min to the Bridge and see the wonderful fall at the view points.
Well worth the walk from the parking lot. Fabulous!
Great family outing
So beautiful the trees are so big and old such a nice place you can hear the Roar of the waterfalls definitely take time to check it out just awesome
It is always a great spot to bring visitors! The island has so much to offer.
We had visited these falls years ago. Had to return to walk the new trails and the suspension bridge. The views from the bridge were spectacular
Pleasant long stroll
Beautiful walk to the bridge. The bridge itself was stunning. Worth the trip.
A very easy walk down to a neat suspension bridge.
A short simple walk. Came back the exact same way as went down. Went during release of extra water and that was very cool. Wonder if there will be more trails added.
Beautiful! Nice trail but a lot of stairs. Just be careful if stairs are a struggle is all.
Scary
Wonderfully made accessible beauty of nature! Dint be another dead person at the bottom, Stay away from the water. Signs are there for a reason not a suggestive thought! Go enjoy and please live to tell about it not others telling about what happen to you!
Only takes an hour or so but one of the best places in the area! This newer area replaces the previous viewing spot with an amazing view of the falls.
Amazing View of the fall from the Suspension bridge. Please do go to the old lookout too.
7:50am Feb 2, 2020 They are releasing water from the dam. ????
The bridge just goes over the falls nothing on the other side. Water level was down. Nice walk down, but multiple stairs at the bottom. Bridge is more wiggly than I expected There are wash rooms there
Loved it... beautiful walk. Got some great pictures of the kids. Very safe to being kids (8 and 6 years old) the bridge was a big hit with them. Definitely a have to see.
Nicely treed walking trails, lovely waterfall with good viewing platform and the suspension bridge over the gorge. Your dog(s) would love it too.
Both adults and kids enjoyed this visit. Kids 8 & 11. Very good path leading to the bridge. About 5 flights of stairs to go down and then back up. Bridge is very secure and not much movement. Koodos to the Rotory Club for installing it. Beautiful view of Elk Falls. Definitely worth the quick side trip from Campbell River. 15 mins drive. Hike 15 mins each way. Stroller accessible till the stairs.
What a beautiful place to walk. Pretty easy walk for most :)
Gorgeous
Large network of well groomed trails with great views.
Nice walk to the falls, and view of them from the suspension bridge. 1.2 km with 109 stairs each way, so accessability will be an issue for some.
Boone of the three wonders of Campbell River. Great out door hike into first growth forest
Great place for a small trip. Lots of old trees and not may people. Loved the falls amd suspension bridge.
Nicely maintained trail
A pleasant healthy walk of about 15 minutes duration. Definitely worth the journey!
Super nice walk...not very challenging and in the spring runoff it is very impressive...well worth the time
Scary as hell, but I'm afraid of heights. Really fun and crazy stuff. Highly recommend checking it out. .
Beautiful place to walk.
This is a really neat find when you are in or near Campbell River. The trail maps could be better... and Google's own trail maps seem incomplete (not all the trails are shown) but it's a very impressive waterfall. The trails allow several different views and the easiest ones are probably fairly accessible for older people or people just getting started with hiking. The trails are short and the viewing platforms are solid with great safety railings. Dogs will probably find the metal grating uncomfortable though but it's really safe and non-skid for people. The improved access was created as part of a community project in cooperation with BC Hydro. As part of seismic upgrades the power house and penstocks are being replaced. The originals seem here (made of WOOD! and cables) will be removed soon and no one will see site again. The new waterflow is a tunnel. Really a neat walk. Glad we found it.
Amazing so well made and maintained. Definitely worth a visit and close to Campbell River
Must see
Great experience
Just gorgeous! And the trails surrounding are beautiful!
Great place with lots of trails to walk.
Beautiful area with safe stairs to walk on
10min hike to see nature at its roar. Path was easy. Bridge was solid. 118 stairs grouped together close to the site, according to the missus.
High and scary, but safe and nice high railings
With the new bridge, you get great views of the falls.
Stunning! Squishy stairs and suspension bridge make waits long due to covid spacing suggestions
Easy access to parking from main road. Clean or gravel pathways with beautiful scenery. Hikes are good for kids and grandparents. Lots of stairs and some steep sections from the bridge.
Great short hike to spectacular Elk Falls. Suspension bridge over the Canyon and falls. Multiple short hikes along the river and through the rain forest. I sat on the waters edge and soaked my feet in the cool water up stream of the Elk Falls near a second set of falls. I wish I would have taken my bathing suit so I could have taken a swim. There were others swimming in the river and the lake.
Beautiful place to visit.
The hike to the falls is good just 35 min to and from. Great view.
We really enjoyed the chance to walk out on the supension bridge. You get a great view of the falls and the water down below. It's not too long a hike, but there is a fair bit of up and down, if you have any mobility issues. The co-ordinates to the parking lot, for a GPS or map program are: 50.03808 N, 125.33039 W (Decimal), --or-- 50° 2' 17.09" N 125° 19' 49.4" W (Degrees, Minutes, Seconds )
So beautiful. Easy trails. Short walk to falls.
A great walking tour. Very well marked out. There was no garbage in site which is amazing. Lots of bathroom facilities. The views were great of the falls and river. Ample parking.
Sturdy suspension bridge.
The bridge is amazing. It snowed the day we were there and it was magical on the bridge in the snow. Easy walk to get into also.
Great view and the trail to the bridge is beautiful. Just need more trail on the other end of the bridge.
The walk and the view are well worth the time and effort. The trees and the path are a nice lead up to the falls which are pretty impressive. This is a good attraction in the Campbell River area and I would recommend it to anyone in the area who has an hour or two for an easy walk.
Very beautiful park and trails. Do pay attention to the warning signs.
Easy walk, great views of the waterfall and from the suspension bridge.
Magnificent
Cool little walk with a waterfall at the end. The suspension bridge is pretty awesome too, it's pretty high and gives a good view
Short hike towards the bridge. But there are various trails with km markings. The bridge gives a great view on the river. There wasn't much public at the bridge.
Fantastic walk down to the falls, with Covid social distancing signs on the trail and the suspension bridge above the falls. What a great place to see.
Really awesome place. Worth doing the hikes. Suspension bridge was really done well. View is spectacular.
Never disappointed by being there.
Nice little walk. Pretty kool place.
New bridge, great view, awesome easy path
This is an excellent little adventure to go on. And the craziest part: it's FREE (I'm looking at you Capilano). A short drive from Campbell River will get you to the start of the park where it's a short, curated, walk down to the falls and the bridge. Multiple viewing points let you see the falls from different angles. Climb down a few flights of stairs will get you to the very safe bridge which provides an experience of its own crossing and epic views of the falls and canyon.
Spectacular place to visit. Lots of easy going trails and the view if the falls is magnificent. Highly recommended.
Well worth the walk from parking lot. Amazing cedar and fir trees. The waterfalls can be viewed from a number of vantage points.
Always a great place for a hike on a nice groomed trail with a beautiful water fall! Easy for all ages!
An amazing experience for my 5 year old we walked a large section of the trail and she enjoyed every minute of it.
It was awesome. I highly recommend taking the trip.
Raining all day November 27th 2021. We had the trails and Suspension Bridge mainly to ourselves! The Falls were in full force! So powerful and loud. What an experience to witness. Soooo exhilarating!! A once in a lifetime sight with the atmospheric rains BC has been receiving.
Very nice .
Beautiful hikes Beautiful scenery right in our own backyard
Beautiful place to visit any day of the year. The waterfall was especially spectacular today (Feb 1, 2020) because BC Hydro was releasing water upstream. Wow!
It's a nice and easy stroll to the falls, very short distance good for family
Always worth the walk.
