Nothing negative to say about this place! Your basic cone is cheap, and has enough ice cream on there to last a walk down the pier and back at least three times over! Staff is always in a great mood, but I imagine it'd be tough to be in a bad mood working somewhere as beautiful as here.

A wide variety of delicious flavours of hard ice cream served on the pier overlooking the strait and Quadra Island. The 'Kids Size' cone is two large scoops which is probably a good size for most adults. They have 'taster' size cones which are a single scoop and an adult size is three scoops. There are lovely benches along the pier where you can sit and eat while watching for whales, dolphins, seals, eagles, herons and people fishing. This is a perfect spot for a family walk combined with a treat.

Always large portions at a great price. There can be a big line up but it moves pretty quick. What they call a Baby Cone is huge. 2 scoops and 2 flavors is a great deal . Friendly service .Always nice to enjoy your ice cream as you stroll down the Pier.

The small children's cone is really quite big. I had the waffle cone and chose two flavours, vanilla and salted caramel. The salted caramel was delicious, however, I love a strong vanilla flavour and this wasn't quite as strong as I like it. Be forewarned it is a big cone with lots of ice cream. I almost had trouble finishing it.

World Famous! The view is amazing. Nothing better than taking a walk down the pier on a summer night while enjoying a double scoop on a waffle cone! The ice cream scoops are very generous btw. Fishing can be insane at certain times of the year. I believe this is the only pier you can catch Salmon from. I have caught Salmon, rock cod, cabezon, herring and ling cod from this pier.

Wouldn't recommend this ice cream or food place whatever they would like to call Themselves to anyone. The older man working here is so rude and cold. The ice cream literally melts the second you get it. Due to them not keep things at proper temperatures. As a tourist from the states I warn anyone don't bother giving them your time or money.

This is a fun place to stop as you are in Campbell River. The ice cream is great, but of course it is a little over priced, as is just about anything in a tourist town. You are able to rent rods at the shop and go fishing right there on the pier. They only have one hook, so if that doesn't suit you, bring your own gear. The fishing off the pier can be great at the right time of the year, but I have never been there at that time. It can be fun to just walk up and down the pier as you take in the scenery. It just isn't quite a 5 star yo me though.

This was a great place for a sunset walk with the family. Next time we are in town I would consider getting a fishing license and taking the kids fishing here. The canteen serves ice cream in incredibly large portions (3 scoops is the child size) plenty of free parking available. Wheelchair/ stroller accessible.

A pleasant stop on a stroll on a pier. Always fun to watch how strong the tides are rolling in and out between Quadra Island and Vancouver Island. It would make you think you were next to a large river. Cap that off with a very healthy sized ice cream cone from the shop and it makes for a great stroll. This is a regular stop on our visits to Campbell River.
