Right now the business receives a rating of 4.2 out of 5 and that rating has been based on 76 reviews.

I have been getting my car serviced here since 2010 but on my last visit this month, the service (engine oil and yearly) was less than expected. I was recommended to get my front brakes serviced and flushed so I went home and made an appointment request online but I did not hear back at all. So, instead I got them here in Comox and I saved money too because they said I didn't need to service the rear wheel brake service because the corrosion was mild. This place also checked the engine oil and told me it was low. So, the technician at Strathcona did not put in enough oil. I checked it myself and it was low so I had to buy oil.
If you want to be misled and overcharged this is the place to go. I wanna say first that Toyota itself makes great cars and I love the car I currently own, but their parts department is incompetent. I recently had to replace my front and rear wheel bearings on my Corolla so I called this location to order some in and they ran my VIN and ordered the front bearings. I installed these bearings and about 6 months later I called again to get the rear bearings and they told me NAPA had some in stock so I went there. However, NAPA did not have them in stock but offered to order some for me but they needed to know if the bearings were ABS or not. Toyota had been telling me that my car had ABS the entire time, but I called to double-check and after running my VIN they confirmed I did. However, I do not have ABS and I realized this too late when installing the bearings. Overall, they made the replacement cost an extra $300-400 as the ABS version of all four bearings are more expensive and they offered me no compensation for grossly misleading me. I called Toyota Canada and they gave me no route of compensation either. I do not see why I should have to fork out an extra $400 because their system made an error. I would highly recommend if you do not want to waste money going to NAPA instead of Toyota as the people there know what they are talking about and are not relying on a faulty system. DO NOT GO HERE! My case reference number is 3262370 if Toyota wants to reevaluate their decision.
Great customer service. I make the drive from south vancouver island to Campbell River to service my vehicle here. The service department has always been great to me. Very accommodating and helpful.
The staff were very friendly and courteous. Buying a car has always been stressful but not this time. They didn't make me feel pressured. I highly recommend the Campbell River Toyota team
I live in Langley and I went all the way (a flight from YVR to YBL) to get my car from this branch. Was it worth the 500 kilometers trip (in total)? My answer is "Absolutely, I will do it again". But why? Here is my story: I needed a car really fast, I had to get it and I had only 12 days to find the right one. I went to almost 10 dealerships (just to give you some perspective, average customer goes to 1.5 dealerships and then buys). My preference was either a Toyota Camry or a Honda Accord. One of my experiences with them was that they ask you to come in and see what they can do for you. It is their technique, to lure you to their dealership, run your credit, get a couple of signatures and down-payment, and leave you with a done deal that you are not sure what it actually was. So my advice in general for all is that don't get soft, don't give up, a good deal is a good deal for both parties, if it is not a good deal based on your research, don't give in, keep looking. I eventually (after 6 days) found Toyota branch in Campbell River on the listings. They are all super nice people. I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole (she picked me up at the airport and drove me to their branch. We talked almost 15 minutes on the way and she showed me the fair that goes around in island on our way and told me about a young man who raised money by surfing every day January), Karen (she has quite a number of responsibilities, in one sentence she is there to make sure you are happy. She helped me with coffee and tea as soon as I arrived, assisted me with the test drive, showed me all of the features of the vehicle, ...., and even installed the plate on the car for me! Oh, also she helped me with pairing my cellphone as well), Kim (I did not ask about her title but I assume she is the manager since she oversaw the whole process. She is amazing, kind, and 100% transparent. A true professional. She took care of financial side of the deal overall from calculating the costs and setting up the monthly payment all the way through removing the lien which she promised to be done next business day and she did live up to her promise, so there is trust if you are looking for), and also I talked with Erik ( yes, Erik, not Eric, and believe me he is as unique as his name is. I am sure it has happened to you when you talk to someone and you realize this person is great to work with. Erik is that type of person. He is one of the sales representatives here and I have to say he was very different from most of the reps I talked with, and I talked with at least 15 reps, so I think my test sample is quite reliable). To sum it all, buying a car should be hassle free and memorable, not a harsh experience. My experience with this team is 110% positive and this is not because of the gift they gave me on top of the deal. It is because they actually care and spend time for you :-) I enjoyed my trip. I was astounded by the top-notch customer service, and I recommend this team to work with. Thank you everyone, I appreciate your help. I hope (and I am sure) your business grows even more. P.S. I will be copying this review on Yelp as well since I think I wrote every nice thing possible :-D
Karen is great to deal with
We just had our 2016 Highlander serviced and detailed there. Very impressed, Megan in service dept is outstanding, she checked out my Car before she let me leave...... Impressive.
Picked up my 2021 Prius ( worth the wait!) on Friday. I want to thank the entire team at Campbell River Toyota. A complete 180 degrees from "the other" Toyota dealership. Respectful, generous and attentive service all 'round. Hard to come by these days! The car is amazing! Especially looking forward to fewer stops at the pumps! The gift of local Raven Song soaps/candle was an especially thoughtful touch! I look forward to a long and satisfying relationship with this group! THANKS!!
I had bought a set of tires from their used tire sale, as it turned out one of the tires was separating a little bit, Jim the owner took charge of the situation worked hand in hand with myself and Yokohama and helped me get safe tires for my car at a very Competitive price point. Now I have 4 brand new tires a new tire store and plan on purchasing my next vehicle from this team. The service desk has wonderful staff. They even washed and vacuumed my car when installing my tires what a great surprise
Overall, I was happy with the sales department at CR Toyota. Erik was very helpful and accommodating before, during and after the sale. My experience with the service department was also mostly positive. However, it took 3 return visits to solve the problem of a noisy/squeaky wheel. I ended up paying (half the cost) to replace a tire that did not solve the problem. In my opinion, a customer should NEVER have to pay for parts that do fix the problem. The actual problem was finally discovered and the situation resolved. However, I am still out of pocket for the unnecessary expense, not to mention all the time spent with return visits. In the end, I am happy the problem is solved and my car is working well.
I reached out to them to place a reservation for the RAV4 Prime and Erik (sales rep) was very helpful throughout the process. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle, responsive to my inquiries and friendly. I ended up choosing a different vehicle from another company and Erik was very respectful of my decision. I will be recommending this dealership and Erik when to anyone who needs a Toyota in the future.
Please be careful when dealing with this dealership due to unethical business practices. I traded in my leased Volkswagen for a 4Runner. They drove the 4Runner down to victoria where I live and took the Volkswagen. The arrangement was that they would buy out my lease and send me the license plates once the Volkswagen arrived I’m Campbell River. 3 weeks after, I had lease payments still being withdrawn from my bank account and had not received my licence plates in the mail. It turns out that they did not pay out the lease as agreed in the sales contract. After several calls and countless hours of explaining the situation to various staff they agreed to pay me back and send me my plates but that never happened. The dealership kept telling me they would fix the situation and never did.
Kim was amazing, transparent and very attentive to our wants/needs within our budget. Was Honda for life but have been converted. Trent was helpful and provided all the details we wanted when viewing our new car. Bill was to the point and spelled out all the financial details. Overall a really great experience at Campbell River Toyota! Thank you Kim, Trent and Bill!
Didnt buy my truck there , but have had it serviced in this shop for 10 years. Ive been though 3 service managers ... aside from a couple minor bumps, over the years that the staff has been very good about going good for " no ones perfect " this shop is second to none. The head mechanic has to be one of the best mechanics ive ever delt with. He can work on toyota products with his eyes closed. Ill never buy anything but toyotas. This is, and has been, the best dealer in Campbell River by a coutry mile.
I love my 2021 Tacoma! Special thanks to Dave and Laura for great customer service. The truck and the drive from Victoria were totally worth it.
What a experience, totally professional from first meeting the service staff to the completion of the job by the mechanic Scott.Awesome job!!
When you want a Toyota you already know what you want you just have to decide who to buy it from.... I would buy another truck from Laura without hesitation. The dealership was transparent throughout the entire sale and Laura really went above and beyond. I'm from South Island and we spent time on the phone and via text so I could learn everything I needed to know. Kim secured me the financing I needed IN BUDGET the whole time. The used truck was immaculate when I came to pick it up. The truck I bought was originally purchased and then traded back in to Campbell River Toyota. I imagine when I go to get something new (to me) again - I'll do the same.
Recently purchased a vehicle through Henry. Great service and very professional - would recommend to everyone looking for a new Toyota. Thank you to the Campbell River Toyota Team!
Awesome staff verry friendly and helpful
Called in and left a message with the service department regarding the history of a Toyota I own but did not buy here and don't service there. They called back and gave me all the information I needed and more. I called a different Toyota dealership for the same thing and they couldn't even be bothered to return my call.... So I was very happy to get such great service.
Just bought a Tacoma here and have to say that it was a great experience from start to finish. Justin was very professional and helpful and all the sales team were super friendly and efficient. I flew in from Vancouver and my flight was delayed, I was hoping to catch the 1 o`clock ferry and everybody made a great effort to get me out of there with enough time to get to the terminal. Alas, i missed it by 6 cars! But, the subsequent wait time was an excellent opportunity to familiarize myself with my new truck so it all worked out well. Thanks
Took my 90 3.0 Toyota pickup in and while I was there let me know about a campaign from 1997 and honoured it giving me close to $1000 worth of front end work for free! Thanks guys!
no stars and a lost customer for this experience, put my Sequoia in for maintenance, there were no leaks when I dropped it of. Went to pick it up and transmission fluid was leaking, so they fixed it, again, took it home, still leaking all over my drive way, took it back in to be fixed (two environmental spills!!) drove the car to Trail BC, more leaking happening, (another environmental spill )took the vehicle to another dealership, they finally fixed the transmission leak (4th attempt)and also a leak from the rear axle which also caused shoes to be replaced, asked for a refund twice and for the money spent at the other dealership....no reply what so ever!! Better Business Bureau report and lawyer time now... still waiting for them to "make it right!!!" ...obviously a delaying tactic from them hoping that it goes away....
We have been leasing my Ravs from Toyota for some years now , I must share that the service is exceptional and Jami is amazing and goes above and beyond to fit you with the perfect ride! I love Toyota vehicles , I love Toyota leasing and I love Toyota Staff are the Best !!!! Much Gratitude for Everything you do and your fun loving and festive spirit that celebrates a clients comfort and safety for all their family needs , even you 4 paw family Mandy & Paul and Chanterelle , cashmere , Prada
if you are someone with special needs i would not recommend working for this company they let me go for making one tiny mistake at the work place and told me too get off the property
Several years ago I had a mechanical issue with my 2008 Tacoma while I was on vacation. I took my truck to The Toyota Campbell River Mechanic department and was very impressed with the service. Since I had such a great experience in the mechanical department, when it came time to purchase a new vehicle I knew I wanted to reach out to Campbell River Toyota. I sent an email inquiry and had the pleasure of meeting and doing business with Laura who was exceptionally helpful. Laura helped me find the truck of my dreams and arranged all details over the phone, email and text message before I made the three hour trip to pick up my new truck. Thanks to Laura's expertise, excellent communication, and patience my experience was stress free, and I LOVE my new truck! By the time I drove my new Tacoma off the lot Laura felt like an old friend and I would definitely recommend Campbell River Toyota especially Laura.
Truly superb service during these difficult times. Jamie and everyone else at Strathcona Toyota were pleasant and helpful every step of the way. Still waiting for one last option to show up but, the supply chain being what it is, it will show up when it shows up. Loving our new Rav4!
Laura - thanks for making my Toyota experience meaningful :) your entire time is so kind and professional! Thanks for everything. Can't wait for come back!
Amazing service from the team here! We recently bought a car here and the process couldn't have gone better, and the Raven Song gift box was a thoughtful touch. Thank you Erik!
Karen was awesome to deal with!! 5 stars for sure
When shopping for my Tundra, I looked at several dealerships up and down the island. I found my perfect truck at Campbell River Toyota, made the drive up from Shawnigan Lake, and met with Laura who spent the day with me test driving and chatting while the finance manger worked his magic. The truck had been customized by the service crew at the dealership to include running boards, air bags, and a bull bar, not to mention an extremely thorough service and maintenance of all systems bringing the used vehicle up to an almost new condition. The attention to detail and customer service was unlike any I have ever experienced at another dealership. Perhaps because it's privately owned or more likely because the staff are just good people who care about what they do, I was left feeling like a valued customer and will 100% be back when I'm ready for a new vehicle. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who's ready for a much more personal approach to automotive sales.
Great Service! Melani was really helpful, Was able to schedule me for service when convenient for me. I was really surprised how quickly the service was done and they cleaned my truck :) Thank you for great service!!! Definitely recommend this place
Campbell River Toyota is a low pressure, high quality dealership! They treat you as family when you come in and don't try to upsell you like at a lot of car dealerships! Highly recommended!
It was the easiest and painless purchase we’ve ever made. Under the circumstances, Kim (Sales Manager) and Adam (Product Advisor) were very helpful and fair. Outstanding customer service and would highly recommend and buy from again.
Great purchase experience. All negotiating done via e-mail. In and out in 45 minutes at the dealer, to trade in my old vehicle and buy a new one. Was very happy. :-)
I recently bought a Tacoma from here and it was a great experience! Adam was extremely helpful and friendly, as were all of the staff. Would definitely go back there for another vehicle!
My husband and I bought a new Toyota Tacoma a couple of days ago and have only great things to say about Laura and the others who we dealt with on the purchase. Thank you for everything, we love the truck and would recommend your dealership to anyone.
Honest excellent service. The dream of having a reliable full size SUV that suits our family needs which is a 2022 Toyota forerunner 7 seater is now a reality. Our greatest appreciation to our agent Lucas Colgan who answered all our questions and directly showed us the vehicle that we really wanted. Car Financing went through smoothly and we got approved, same day we inquired about the forerunner. I would highly recommend Lucas and Toyota Campbell river if your looking for your dream vehicle….
Excellent customer service! All staff were so great and helpful with the purchase of our Tacoma. The staff know the product and went above and beyond to get us in the right truck. I would 100% recommend CR Toyota!
I had a great experience with the team at Campbell River Toyota! They were very helpful and professional! Especially Jamie from sales and Ryan from financing! Thanks!
No choice for no stars. I took my 2017 Tacoma in with a fuel/stalling issue November 7th 2019. Just got it back February 12, 2020. Over 3 months in the shop. It took more than 2.5 months to diagnose the problem. Nov 6, 2019. Engine lights came on for the first time. Nov 7, 2019. Drop it off with Toyota. They had it for the day and couldn’t diagnose the problem. “Codes they haven’t seen before”. They told me to take the truck and made an appointment for Nov 13, 2019. Nov 12, 2019. Accelerated from a stop sign and the truck suddenly stalled. Came to a rolling stop on the side of the road. Eventually got it to CR Toyota and dropped it off. For the next 5 weeks… “Don’t know the codes” “waiting for a response from Toyota Engineers” Many times! “Could be the fuel injectors” “refurbished the fuel injectors in Nanaimo” Nov 27, 2019 . They keep saying “we” will give u a call tomorrow then I don’t hear anything for days. Rarely an update from the service department. Never called back when they said they would Nov 28, 2019. They left me a message and would like my permission for the mechanic to drive it for a couple days hooked up to the computer so they could test it more. Really they have gotten nowhere with it. Still a mystery! Nov 29, 2019 "We will flush out the fuel injectors early next week and get it back to me" Dec 3, 2019. “Looks like it’s a fuel injector. There are 6 of them and they need to now figure out which one is bad” Dec 5, 2019. No calls yet. Dec 6, 2019. Went in personally to Toyota. “Should have the truck next Friday”. Dec 9, 2019. “it’s a fuel injector issue with the truck. They are getting it refurbished in Nanaimo over the next couple days” Dec 13, 2019. fuel injectors were installed back in my truck but they wanted to make sure it was “problem solved” before giving it back to me. So I was asked if he could drive it for a couple days to test it out. Dec 17, 2019. CR Toyota said they think they have it fixed. I picked up the truck that afternoon and drove it home. Dec 18, 2019. Fuel issue happened twice while taking my daughter to school. Stopped dead again twice in the middle of the road. Dropped it off back at Toyota. Engine lights on again. January 3, 2020. Call from Service Department. Should have some confirmation Monday from Toyota Engineers. They think it’s “the computer”. “Will call you Monday”. Jan 9, 2020. Call from Service Department. “Still not sure what’s wrong. Now thinking it could be an issue with one of the engine valves”. Jan 23. Call from Service Department. Waiting on a part from Texas. Should be here mid next week. Also, the recall for the anti corrosion spray on frame will be done as well. Feb 3, 2020. Still no call back. I went in to Service Department. The part has still not arrived from Texas. Feb 10. Phone call that the truck is ready. Picked up the truck. So far the issue seems to be resolved BUT, somehow in the 3 months that the truck was there the recall work didn't get completed. Now I have to take it back in.
I recently purchased a vehicle from CR Toyota, they gave me a fair price on my trade in. Jessica in the finance office was knowledgeable and thorough. Jami and Kim were friendly and patient with me as I made my decision on whether on not to purchase a new vehicle and Jami was happy to answer any question I had, even on her day off. The atmosphere at the dealership it great. I will be a repeat customer for sure.
I don’t usually write reviews. However, dealing with with Adam Vavrik (Sales) And Kim Dougan (Manager I believe) was as pleasant as an experience can be buying a car from a dealership. I won’t bore you with the details. I’ll just say that both were extremely patient and well beyond understanding. They held a vehicle for longer than I would have ever expected, they were more than reasonable when negotiating the price and more than helpful in all areas in between. So just a quick thank you and well done to Adam Vavrik and Kim Dougan at Campbell River Toyota for going above and beyond. Thank you... George Beatteay
After spending over a year searching for a vehicle through different dealerships I decided to give Campbell River Toyota a shot and I am so happy I did! after test driving 5 or 6 cars I fell in love with and purchased a beautiful 2018 Mazda 3 from Adam, I appreciate that Adam took the time to find me a vehicle I truly love instead of just trying to sell me any car they had to make a sale like most dealerships do. After going to many dealerships it was a nice change to not feel pressured and to leave feeling less stressed and happy. All around an amazing experience buying my first car from all the staff at Toyota highly recommend!????
Loving my new Jeep! Big thanks to Laura, Jessica and their team!! Excellent service with knowledgeable, friendly, efficient staff. Also, the sweet gift box from RavenSong was an unexpected treat :) Would highly recommend CR Toyota anytime!
My wife and I spotted a terrific car on this dealership’s website. I called and spoke with Jerry Johnson. I’m so happy we were able to work with Jerry as he went far beyond any expectations we would have. He was able to get us a better price on the car, he made us a video since we live on the mainland, he helped arrange everything to have our car ready, including personally driving the car to the mainland for us! Finally, he helped resolve one issue after the fact by helping arrange the follow up service at our local dealership. Jerry has been the best sales person I have ever dealt with and made the whole experience great.
Totally awesome
We absolutely love our new Toyota Tacoma. Thank you so much Kim and Jessica for your amazing service. Also a thank you to Jami for showing us how everything works.
I can not express enough the amazing service . They have succeeded all my expectations and more . I will never go anywhere else again ....my new 2017 vechile is my work wheels and Crazy Dog Lady is their new forever customer. Everyone was kind , honest and just all around RAD. Kleco kleco ( means thank you ).
We cannot say enough about the Campbell River Toyota dealership - specifically Laura. Words can't express how accommodating, helpful, supportive and patient she was while we were looking for a Tacoma. Go to Campbell River Toyota and ask for Laura - you will have an incredibly positive experience!
We are loving our newly purchased 2018 Prius. What an amazing little car! We were surprised at how spacious the interior is. Lots of leg room and trunk space. Everyone we met at the dealership was friendly and cordial. David Corrigal, Sales Manager-used vehicles, was very knowledgeable making it a very comfortable decision to purchase the Prius. We were very grateful for Trent Walker's knowledge of the "techy" stuff we needed to know and his ability to articulate it to us so clearly. And after all that, we were presented with a gift box of beautiful scented soaps and a candle made by Raven Song Soap & Candle. It was a very pleasant experience!
Today I got some bad service from Toyota. I had booked an appointment for my seat belt issue and also booked a waxing for my car on Monday. Well the belt issue of course wasn't going off. My issue with service today is that they didn't wax my car as per request on Monday, they told me there wasn't enough time for it. It was because it was short notice, I said no it wasn't I booked it on Monday at the same day as the service call. Excuse was "her words" I had two other calls come for the same service and I guess I forgot about you and put it on someone else's appointment. Lame excuse to me. If you can't remember who called, then call back and double check. So I waited for 3 hrs for nothing. I highly doubt I will use their services for anything but regular maintenance from now on.
When my Subaru check engine light came on called Toyota to see if they could diagnose and fix Subaru. Told yes and was very happy when given same day appointment 1:15. Arrived 1:05 and advised wait and would be updated when info known. 45 minutes later went to check as hadn’t heard anything. Was told vehicle not in yet as another vehicle came in and had to be fixed prior to mine. No-one had said a thing let alone asked me if it was okay. My vehicle finally went in and was told 1st diagnostic tool not giving enough info 2nd tool to be used. 3:45 told diagnostic tool not able to provide enough info and go to Subaru in Nanaimo. Given bill to pay. Took to Campbell River Canadian Tire - they diagnosed low battery causing codes- replaced battery and vehicle running perfectly. Recommend Do Not waste time and money at Toyota where they don’t value their customers enough to honour appointments or even update customers regarding changes/delays and they need either to have technicians with more experience or better diagnostic tools
I live in Nanaimo and found a vehicle at their dealership. Jami responded right away and kept me in the loop every step of the way. When we picked up our car everyone that day were super helpful and friendly. We were in and out. I highly recommend them. Thank you
I've just experienced the most comprehensive. ..thorough...and enjoyable business transaction in my adult life ....and that is significant. .as I'm 62. Laura and Jim are an incredible business team. As well...I feel in the many hours I spent being "That Guy" with more than the traditional inquiries ..we found a wonderful common ground of similar interests that have quite possibly sparked a new friendship. Oh..right ...back to the point. There isn't a more friendly dealership. ..bar none. .anywhere. From their receptionist through parts and service. ..the financial office. .and of course ... the sales team. I highly recommend offering up your time to visit these folks and request that Laura walk you through the usually scary process of car buying. Every concern or question was answered or handled expediently...and with true caring. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Cheers to all...and many thanks to Laura and Jim for my fantastic Rav4! The only issue with this review site is that you can't rate to 10 stars..in my humble opinion. Bruce Wilde.
I changed my review, I apologize for not doing it sooner. The last time I took my vehicle in for a re-call fix, the service was much better!
Was in the market for a new car, but ended up extremely disappointed. The dealership owner Jim was rude, unprofessional, and I could smell alcohol on his breath. I have taken my business elsewhere, and recommend others do so as well.
Excellent service
My first trip to Campbell River Toyota but certainly not my last! Thanks Jami and Kim for making this purchase quick and hassle-free. We’re loving the new 4Runner????
Amazing staff and friendly atmosphere ???????? Making you feel like you’re part of the Toyota family from when you first walk in and throughout the purchasing process.
We had previously been dealing with another Toyota dealership and the experience was turning into a nightmare. Therefore, we checked out the Campbell River Toyota dealership and we are so glad we did! We ended up purchasing a brand new Tacoma from them and it was a great experience. Our salesperson was Jami and she was awesome. It was quick and we negotiated via text message and phone call for the most part since since we both work full-time. When it came to signing, they had everything ready to go and I was able to complete everything on my lunch break. On top of it all, they gave me a little gift box at the end which I assumed was some sort of Toyota merchandise like a mug. I opened it a little later and it was actually an assortment of local artisan soaps, eco friendly soap mat, etc. I was almost more excited about it than the truck because it was so unexpected! I would totally recommend this dealership.
Worst experience I have ever had at a mechanic or dealership. They charged me over $1200 to diagnose out what the problem even was, they kept my vehicle for 5x longer than quoted and even damaged the body work when removing panels. I made formal complaints to management and they ignored all correspondence. I would never step foot in this place again and advise you to steer clear. Worst service ever
Worst customer service ever Justin the sales rep cant figure out the difference in trim levels told me that they advertised the wrong price what kind of show are they running save your self some time shop at a big city dealer!!!!. Thanks Justin for wasting my time
Bought a truck from adam at toyota. Was a pleasure working with him, he made everything easy, fast and smooth ???? also a shout out to kim and the rest of there staff.
We had a great experience with Justin and all the staff. Thank you for being patient, kind and polite. we've only ever bought Toyota cars and we have never been disappointed.
Love my new Corolla Sport from Karen at Strathcona Toyota! Melissa in finance and Jim the owner helped me out with a fantastic deal and I am so happy!
My car got an airbag recall...the service dept. WAS SLOW...COULD NOT GET THE AIRBAG....ALWAYS EXCUSES EXCUSES EXCUSES... AFTER WAITING 6 WEEKS...I WENT TO COURTENAY...AND GOT THE WORK DONE...
They broke the door console when they put a new lock in. Didn’t tell us or apologize. Had to go back to tell them to repair it. They agreed, then had us bring the car in twice and still didn’t order the right part. Will now have to take it back a third time!
I bought a Tundra nearly four months ago and had been very happy with the service until now. Someone backed into the truck while it was still on the lot and so a condition of the purchase was that Campbell River Toyota would have it fixed. Unfortunately the salesperson never took the time to follow up or return any of my calls, I called every two weeks for nearly four months. I was then told that they had the part and I would have to arrange with a body shop to get it done myself and they would ship the part- which was supposedly in stock and I was not informed on any of these follow up calls. Fast forward to today when the body shop calls to tell me that the dealership lied about having the part and need me to drive the hour and a half to the body shop to have an estimate done so that they can order the part. I am beyond frustrated and incredibly disappointed with every level of “service” I have experienced with Toyota Campbell River. Rating one star because there is no option for zero stars.
