Ordered an item online as that was the only way to get the price. Would not honour it instore. Now I find out that I have to be home to receive it since I live in an appartment. Which doesn't help as my wife and I both work . So I call Staples to tell them to leave it at a nearby store and they won't. So I cancelled the order and now have to wait 10 days for my refund. They are quick to take your money but slow to return it. I have ordered online before and never had a hassle like this. I was a long time Staples supporter but now am thinking twice about it.

Good luck getting any actual help in the self-serve printing if you are trying to print something from your phone. They have no problem helping you if you're doing photocopies, but SoL if coming in with your phone. Would be nice if they put a notice up saying you'll have a pre-auth charge of $25 placed on your card before even being able to use mobile printing (Google drive/email). Only met with dismissive staff.

Had a GREAT experience here ordering an item that wasn't in store. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. I will say, though, that the 1-800 delivery number is terrible. Inconsistent answers from different staff, some of whom were quite rude. It made the delivery experience stressful and frustrating. Not having a pick up location for if you're not home (the way Canada Post does), makes it nearly impossible to receive your package if you work regular business hours.

(Translated) I went to this happy store for the first time, to buy a Samsung Galaxy S9 + but I was surprised that because I was a relative of an employee, they were not allowed to attend me. And the reason this person did it was to help me because I don't speak English. I went like any client to BUY. I found this unreasonable out of place and unjustified. They lost the purchase because of rules that are not always followed. (Original) Fui por primera vez a esta dichosa tienda, a comprar un Samsung galaxy S9+ pero me llevo la sorpresa de que por ser familiar de un empleado no era permitido atenderme. I went to the Pinebush store in Cambridge to purchase a detailed flyer item. I live in the furthest area of Cambridge and Staples is located in the further most area of Cambridge. When I arrived to pick up my item the staffer said there were no such items in their location or anywhere within the Staples business. I was quite peeved to learn this then I thought perhaps it was at another brand store so I went to 3 other competitors to no avail. When I arrived back home I went to my recycle bin to look through my flyers again and there it was ,,in the STAPLES location on Pinbush..was I peeved off or what. Then I tried calling for 3 hours and NO ONE answered their phone. What kind of crappy service and store is this.....just a bunch of coal in all of your socks this Christmas and a not so Merry Christmas to you Staples.

Don't get photos printed here. Garbage quality. The pictures I received were so bad you could see all the pixels, almost as if they printed a picture that didn't load completely. Waste of time and money. Next time I'll just use Walmart photo center.

Had original, large format drawings scanned at the copy and print center. They were completed within the estimated turnaround time (4 days) and were rolled and repacked carefully. Scans far exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and resolution with flawless colour reproduction. Staff was professional and knowledgeable. Would definitely use this service again.

I got wedding invites printed through the website. The good things about my experience was it is a very good price when you first see how much it costs (i would say a fair price for the quality of work I got). And the printing was virtually fast, was ready for pickup at my store in a week. Now the bad. First of all the colors of the invites are off, what was purple turned out blue. Which doesnt go with the colors of our wedding. So if your looking for exact colors, staples apparently cannot do that. And secondly which admittedly (may) be my fault. Theres a white line on the bottom of all my invites only on the back. So a cropping error, which again may have been my fault but i remember checking the cropping of these invites 3 times to make sure they were within the bleed area because these are kind of important. All in all, the invites will work, but next time when I need to print off something this important, I will be going with a better quality printer company, for slightly more money.

I was really satisfied with this location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I got greeted immediately and assisted where to get what I was looking for. At the checkout the cashier was also very nice and friendly. I was also really impressed with the covid-19 protocols in place for distancing and hand sanitizer readily available as soon as you enter. Very organized.

copy and print center staff are useless. I had two 11"x17" documents that I just needed scan and they said they wouldn't be able to get it done until MAYBE the end of the day. It would have taken two minutes to scan my documents and put them on my USB key. There were two staff members in the print center, no other customers around and I went right at the time the store opened. Not the first instance of the copy and print people being lazy and useless. I wont be going back to this staples.

I have recently purchased upwards of $200 worth of architecture related supplies at this Staples location, spent approximately 30 minutes in the store and was not once greeted or offered assistance by a staff member. The product displays were mostly out of stock and not refilled, although the overstocked products were visibly stored above the products designated home. This is just laziness on the employees part and does not make for a happy customer. I will remember to bring a step ladder next time I visit this location as I will likely have to perform a Staples employee's duties for several hours before I am able to purchase anything from the barren, poorly stocked shelves.

Walking into to this location, I noticed that the store was well organized and that the shelves were fully stocked. I was greeted promptly at the printing/shipping counter. The employee was friendly but she kept making silly little mistakes with my package order. I understand that we're human and errors can happen, but I was very annoyed to have to get a call from the shipping company because she put the wrong address on the billing label.

I left a review last summer of 5 stars when I shopped in store, but I’m changing it to a 1. I ordered a laptop here specifically because their website clearly states pickup is available after 2 hours. I showed up after 4 hours and was told anything over $500 automatically gets a 1 business day hold. This is FALSE ADVERTISING. I would have shopped elsewhere had I known I couldn’t pick it up the same day. Now it is late in the day and nowhere to get a laptop at this hour.

Box store, pencils paper, help yourself. Wondered into the Staples looking for a new computer desk. Was back in the area for about 15 minutes and not a soul came to check on me. Had to approach a cashier to page someone back there. Another 10mins with no sales rep and I figured forget it. On my way out I noticed a half decent computer monitor, 27" 1ms @144Hz surprise find in here. No boxes around to grab and checkout with so again I waited for a sales rep to come say hi. Check on the cashier girl to see if anyone's working the floor today. She said she'd page someone. Well I'm not going through that bs again so BestBuy made good on my needs.

I came to Staples to get my daughter an ipad pro and my son a new tablet. Which I found both right away. Prices were generally the same as anywhere else. The selection for electronics was pretty minimal. Although the Bluetooth speaker selection was pretty wicked. Even a few in the clearance section were pretty awesome and for a great price. The store is very well layed out and organized. The employees were friendly and easy going.

I've been here several times to make prints from my phone and recently to get photos made. The customer service in the printing section is terrible. The last time, the staff person who originally assisted me was tied up with a customer who only had a flip phone (!) so I waited at least 20 minutes while the other staff person completely ignored me and carried on making copies and looking busy. She finally approached me and informed me that I had been given the wrong information about photo printing. I swore I would never go back but unfortunately there are very few options for self serve printing. Today I needed some assistance but there was a huge line up with one staff present so I struggled through. Meanwhile the customer next to me was being helped by another customer for almost half an hour who kept asking me questions! She was still there when I left. I approached the manager to give him feedback and although he gave me a half hearted apology and explained someone had called in sick he just stayed in the same spot doing nothing to help the lone staff or assist the customers who had been there since I arrived. Never again!

I go to the Pinebush location to create my invoice, every time I get my copy back it's never what I ask for; it either not padded or all the invoice comes back with the same number. The problem is nothing at the copy and print desk is keep on file, so every time you go to place an order there is alway a new customer representative to take your order and since I'm been going there my order is alway wrong.I just spend over a hundred dollar in invoice and all have the same number again. Staples likes to sell open boxed / returned items as new with no discount. Beware when you order something from their website for store pick up, even if the website doesn't say the item is open box, it may still be an open boxed/returned item. I wasted 20 minutes driving each way to find this out and all the store rep told me when I complained is that "well, we don't get a discount from the manufacturer on returned items, so we can't give you a discount either". I did not want a discount, I just wanted a new item like I thought I had ordered and I was annoyed that my time was wasted because of their misleading website. No other retailer I know of sells open box items on their website without describing the item as open box except Staples.

Typical Staples store that is located off of Hespeler Rd. It's located in an open plaza that has a large number of other stores ranging from name brand big box stores to smaller brand stores. Oh, cannot forget a number of good restaurants also located in the mall. In regards to the Staples Store it's like I said your typical Staples. I have always found this store to be clean, well stocked with all kinds of office supplies and a helpful staff. They also have a section for photocopying, binding etc., along with more office related services.

I went here the first time to inquire about poster printing cost. The tall gentleman there was quick to brush me off, did not answer my questions and even though I waited in line like everyone else, he quickly put me aside to help the next customer instead of answering my questions. As much as they say they can help you custom print, they were no help. His manager also did not help me when she saw he was no help. I tried to give this location another try. I returned a week later with my poster file I wanted a 72x 36 poster but printed in three sections to save cost. This was advice by a peer who said she did the exact process at staples. She went in with the file on USB and asked for a tile print and they did it promptly. When I said the same thing they asked me if I cropped it into three sections? I said no because my friend didn't and they said then they can't help me. So I stayed in the store and tried to crop my file. A tech associate kindly tried to assist me but he didn't know how. Then he suggested I used the digital assist computer, when I got online with them they said they would charge me $15 for 15 minutes of work. But she said she would have to reformat the whole thing, meaning it would probably take a lot more time. I was there for two hours. And no help. A colleague of mine simultaneously went to another staples in Waterloo since I let her know there was a chance I couldn't print out poster. The associate there helped her in under 2 minutes, and gave us an alternative to print it fully on one paper on 72x 36 inches. Terrible inconsistency in the stores. Do not come here for print help.

My partner went to do a print job with heavy duty paper for an event we had to prepare for, 3 days before the event. We went to pick up our print job and it wasn't done because they will not use outside paper. Not using our paper wasn't the issue though. The issue is that we were not called the night before to tell us they couldn't complete the print job and when we arrived they couldn't even find our usb with the file on it. Not only that but all print shops were closed and there was no way my print job was going to be done by the due date. On top of that when we asked for the manager there were no suitable alternatives presented to us. I was not happy with the service I received and my partner and I will not be using their print services in future.

I would give no stars if i could. I was primarily working with Alyson - she was very nice but clearly uneducated and unwilling to ask for assistance. the second girl i spoke to, not sure what her name was - was incredibly patronizing, rude, and also uneducated - this one has some sort of power hungry vibes to her. I was then led to the acting manager on duty, where i was placed on hold for 15 minutes.. so i hung up and called back for the manager on duty and was able to reach him - isn't that odd.. After fighting with the manager for a good 20 minutes i was finally given my refund over the phone. I took my business elsewhere because of the service i received from the two girls in the print shop, my order with the competitor was filled in minutes! Don't waste your time with this Location.

The Pinebush location is pretty well organized and usually well-stocked. During the last few visits I have found customer service staff to be courteous and friendly. When shopping for home office items, such as desks or office chairs I wish the staff were a bit more knowledgeable. But overall my experience has been a positive one.

Paid same day price came in and the employee was new at the printing department and breifly had a clue what to do when coming to ringing out was told false pricing for booklet binding due to poor knowledge or training. Either way not happy with experience on top of it all pick up my booklets two days after wards and the booklets were STILL not correct. Was missing two pages and had to wait an additional 20 mins for my correct order. And wasnt told sorry, no reimbursements or anything just that theyll fix it. Over priced for poor service

I purchased an acer laptop. I took it home and took it out of the box and hooked up the charger which didn't work. We brought the charger back to Staples and they sent it off to Acer to either repair or replace. We found out today 2 months down the road that they are not going to honor the warranty because the charger was damaged. This indicates to me that the charger was pooched when we purchased the laptop. In the length of time we had the laptop before we discovered the charger was not working was a total of one day. How in blazes did we damage it? It was removed from the box and plugged in and unplugged the next day when we realized it wasn't charging at all. This is a perfect example of how they make money. They said I could buy one for $68.00. If we had damaged it we wouldn't have even bothered to bring it in for service. Last purchase for me at Staples. I'll go to best buy or source.

Really good experience at this location (Pinebush). Greeted immediately when I came in the door by several staff members, store was clean and well stocked. Hassib (apologies if I've spelled your name incorrectly, let me know and I'll edit this review) was very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and honest when I asked for some help with laptop computers. He was thorough when figuring out my needs and showed me several options that fit my criteria as well as explaining pros and cons to other aspects that could affect my usage of each model as well. He broke everything down in a timely manner and one I was completely able to understand without making me feel ignorant. By the time I had finalized my decision I felt like I had all the possible information available to make an informed choice. It was a pleasure, and I'll definitely be a recurring customer. THANK YOU!
