We got take out from here and everything was great. We requested a time and it came out exactly when we asked. The portions were big and the quality of food was excellent. I would definitely order from here again. We ordered the P.B. Paella and the Cali Chicken Grilled Cheese, both were delicious and I recommend trying them out. They actually gave us two packs of wipes as well which I haven't seen offered at any other restaurant.

Great place with tons of food choices. Probably host one of the biggest menus at a restaurant so there is no lack of choices. If it's your first time you might want about 20 minutes to look over the menu. So many good choices and they all look and taste great! One of my favourites in town that's for sure.

We started the evening with my husband ordering the hamburger and I order the meatloaf our waitress Pamela recommend, it was delicious. We added 2 Strawberry Bellini drink , those I also highly recommend trying yummy. I would of had more if I wasn't so full. So I highly recommend stopping in there if you get a chance to. You would not regret it. I'm definitely going to stop there next visit to Cambridge even if I'm only passing through.

I just bought take-out from the Hespeler road location. It was supposed to be a decent Christmas eve light dinner. The food was absolutely horrible. I ordered two grilled cheese, two French onion soups and the shrimp and crab linguine. The side salad had hair in it and the crab was clearly out of a can. I've had a much better experience here in the past but this was so bad they will never receive another cent from me. 80$ for a garbage meal.

Ordered from you on Skip and you advertised in the beer section Heineken. No where does it say non-alcoholic but that's what I received. I tried to have skip do the right thing and have you send what I ordered but they refunded only the alcohol and not the whole order. I wouldn't have ordered a meal from you if you weren't serving alcohol. Then Skip blocks me from reviewing you on their app so this stays up. Look at your orders before they go out the door.

Ate at Pickle Barrel Cambridge tonight, October 25th. After a long day of travel and meetings Pamela our server brought some great energy and took awesome care of us. Wings and drinks were great along with the service. Only disappointment was that the Manhattan steak was on the menu, but apparently taken off the menu now. I tried the "quote" substitute and it was good but not the outstanding I was hoping for. Not being critical, just hoping you bring the Manhattan back and dump the other. 5 starts for service, but on food say 3.5 Sincerely, a guy who likes a good steak. Cheers.

Worst customer service ever. They call Cops on you even if you have two drinks and you don’t do anything socially inappropriate. This is just too much and unacceptable. I regret going there last night and call my friend’s all over from Kitchener. Even the food was OKAY OKAY. But the drink I had was unique and nice.

I very rarely give a bad review, however, I’m quite disappointed by our experience yesterday. This was the first time we’ve gone to a Pickle Barrel, and we ordered a triple decker grilled cheese and the fiesta bowl. I’ve only heard good things about the Pickle Barrel, so it was upsetting to come home to small portions of subpar quality dishes. The grilled cheese was just plain white bread with a couple slices of cheese. For the side, there were 10-15 fries thrown in the takeout container. The fiesta bowl tasted okay, but there was a very small portion with the ingredients just thrown in the container. For the price... this was not worth it. Even if prices were a lot cheaper, I would be disappointed. I am quite upset.

Pickle Barrel is always our favourite place to dine, due to it's awesome selection and great prices. However, we visited the Cambridge location on Friday and were very displeased to see that the menu had been cut down to one page. I hope they don't lose too much business due to this, as I would hate to see them close down. We always rave to our friends about this location. Unfortunately, we will be forced to dine elsewhere until the temporary menu is sorted out. Service was great as usual.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time on a Monday evening. Everything was excellent: drinks, food, and service. Jessica, our server was friendly, sweet, and accommodating. We had the buffalo chicken burger and the double chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese. Both were delicious and perfect. We came from Brantford to check this place out and will definitely be back. I’ve seen so many recommendations for Pickle Barrel so we have it a try tonight after seeing we have a gift card that can be used there! We sat down and immediately got a plate of different kinds of pickles which was amazing. I LOVE pickles so I was so happy about that! We got the nachos for an appetizer and they were pretty meh, nothing special but not bad. There was very little to no cheese on them, but we got them for free (when you sign up for their emails they send a coupons for a free app) so whatever! We wouldn’t order them if we were paying, but they were fine enough. We both got the early dine menu (2 course for 11.99). I got the Caesar salad and cheeseburger with fries (cheese was extra), and my fiancé got the soup of the day (cheddar broccoli) and the fettuccine pomodoro. All of our stuff was really, really good!! And we would both order it all again. Finally, we finished our meal with the Brownie aha-Ga-Galore milkshake to split. It was sooooo yummy!!! We probably wouldn’t get it again just because it was so many calories, and pretty expensive ($10.99), but it was really tasty and a nice treat! Overall, it was really good and I would definitely go back! The decor was very nice, music was a good level and the staff was nice.

First time to try this place and my experience was beyond disappointing. I wonder if this place is owned by the same owners of the Waterloo location. I have always been a fan of Waterloo location - went there almost every Sunday when it was open for dine in. I just found out they have Pickel Barrel in Cambridge and tried it for the very first time yesterday. Their spaghetti bolognese hardly had any meat in it - did not taste bolognese - just regular tomato sauce. Their chicken parm - the chicken tasted unseasoned fried batter. The pasta with the chicken parm tasted bland, cannot even taste the tomato sauce. Their BBBLT was definitely lacking in bacon - why call it BBBLT if there's hardly any bacon. We upsized to a poutine which we paid extra for. The fries, though bigger, can be counted with your ten fingers. These observations are based on a comparison with the same restaurant at a different location. The tastes were like heaven and earth. Why go to this location when you can have a way better experience at another location? I hope they train their chefs and sous chefs better. I want this location to stay in business and their employees stay employed during these COVID times.

First time going today. I went with a date, we both found it to be a lot nicer than expected. Good service, the waiters/tresses don't use pad to take down order, just make sure that they get it right. They offer a variety of foods and to be honest it all looks delicious. Great service.

Sorry but we won’t be back our meals were dissatisfying and disappointing… over cooked deep dark brown fish, slimy spinach, soggy lettuce brown lettuce on three types of salads drowning in dressing & tiny portions in a baby bowl, skimpy bed of fries under the fish, double stacked corn beef meat was not much at all. Only thing we enjoyed was the two dishes of pickles. Food quality & portions as well as presentation needs attention and needs to improve

Our 1st time. We were both very hungry. He ordered a turkey Club with fries. And I got the Broccoli soup, knowing I would have a few of his fries. It was not enough at all. My husband's sandwich had a strip of Bacon, bit of shredded turkey, on bread the size of my palm. The soup didn't taste like anything, just creamy green. Didn't eat it. I took a picture of half my husbands sandwich, with the top of the bread off, to show how little it was. No cheese, No tomato?? We grabbed a Sub on the way home. $30.00 . Never again

I normally post on Trip Advisor, All in all the staff was great. We were a party of 9(all family,and over 45). The kitchen staff needs to be a little more aware of what is leaving the kitchen. A couple of dishes were great(salmon) mine could have had more shrimp and hotter. First time their for me, and will go back to see if they improved. thanks

Takeout experience: - Ordered the Buffalo chicken burger and asked for "a BUNCH of extra pickles"... got 1 pickle. - very little batter on actual chicken piece as most of it had fallen off or failed to adhere to the chicken. Batter was quite soggy and gross - upcharged for sweet potato fries but got very little fries. - beef and mushroom dinner was incredibly small portion and was not cooked to medium as requested. Overall very disappointing experience unfortunately.

Nothing against this location in general but Pickle Barrel is just too expensive for what you get. Service was excellent. Food was hot. Pickles are obviously delicious. But it makes me sad to get a dozen fries and a few slices of pastrami on bread that falls apart. Again, nothing against this locations in particular. Just PB overall lacks any kind of value and I leave hungry. Again. I say again because those darn pickles are such a nice treat, I always give in and agree to go. And then I leave hungry. Again.

Jeremy served us last night and he is amazing!! He was very quick, seems like he loves what he does and it translates into the energy he brings to the table... Pun totally intended!! Cambridge Pickle Barrel has always been a great place to eat and socialize! We have been a number of times since it opened up and we have had nothing but great experiences, customer service, and good times! My girlfriend always elect to go here when we can because it is that great! We are super satisfied with every aspect of the Pickle Barrel and if you have the opportunity to have Jeremy as your server, he is certainly one of the best of the best! A great experienced in a refreshed restaurant. We went there for dinner on a busy Friday night. Here is the good and what could have been better : The good: 1. Ambiance is more upbeat. TVs can be seen from dining areas for those wishing to follow a game. Its generally louder and more chatter can be heard which is good. 2. The menu is huge and extensive. Something for everyone. 3. Service is friendly as before. 4. The food was excellent overall. Really enjoyed it. The spicy dishes were actually spicy and overall the food was very well made and delicious. 5. We love that everything here is made fresh from scratch. And not using commercial sauces and mixes. What could be better : 1. The appetizers came out around 2 minutes before the food. And 45 minutes after we ordered. It's a busy night but we were basically eating apps worh the main course at the same time 2. One of the dishes had rice that was hard and seemed dry. 3. Wish they had more organic and local choices so it feels less like a chain restaurant and more local fresh gourmet. A one page local menu would've been amazing to add to an already extensive (but commercial feeling) menu. We will be happy to visit again and we really enjoyed our night there.

Our food was awesome! Good prices, too. The menu is great and I'm so glad that Pickle Barrel came to Cambridge. Only reason for giving it 3 stars is that our service was really awful. We had to pull a manager over to be able to get something as we waited half an hour without our waitress (we didn't even see her on the floor... not sure where she went off to!) - would've loved more drinks but she never came to offer. So that was the only bummer! But I will definitely return.

This was the first time I've dined out since the re opening of restaurants. I was a little apprehensive at first but our server put my mind at ease right away by explaining how everything works and how we pass plates etc. When asking which beer they have on tap she kindly listed them and even suggest I try a little bit before I ordered which I really appreciated. Food was great, service was on point and I'd definitely recommend The Pickle Barrel for a lovely evening out. Cheers!

This is definitely one of the nicest Pickle Barrels I've ever visited. Far better than the one in Downtown Toronto at Eaton. Service was fairly good. We arrived early so grabbed some drinks at the bar. The selection of craft beer was a bit disappointing, seeing how there are so many new local breweries, but Pickle Barrel was still stocking most of the mainstream brews. Food was quite nice, didn't feel like a chain restaurant at all.

I went there today with my sister for lunch. First of all its beautiful inside , second they bring you pickles to snack on ,third the prices were really down to earth ,fourth everyone is nice and polite even to two allergy struck sisters. I not only recommend the restaurant it will be my go to place for a nice affordable place. I am very picky with restaurants because i hate paying for food I can make cheaper on my own but they really take up the meal enough to where I felt like it was worth going out for.

Pasta was not fully cooked, and next to no sauce and the salad was just some chopped up Roman lettuce. It was my first time experience at Pickle Barrel. We were promptly seated and served. The interior decor was really nice as it gave off a modern sports bar vibe. The prices of the food were standard; about what you'd expect at other competitors. I had the Mushroom Swiss Bliss burger and the patty didn't have much of a taste. The flavour of the meat did not stand out at all; I was able to taste the condiments over it. The appetizers were decent, but nothing amazing. In my opinion, the food could use a boost in flavour profile.

ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!!! Truly delicious, everything we had. Only snapped photos of our apps, devoured our meals & neglected to snap pics BUT apps were so good we could not wait to eat our main dishes. Our server was really nice & friendly. Told us all about the important details/deals. We got there right at 5pm waited at bar for 15 minutes before got our table BUT so busy shortly after. Tried to make reservations around 11am but already booked solid so call with plenty of time in advance but we did well in timing. Totally enjoyable, highly recommend it!

Very disappointed in my experience. I ordered delivery through UberEats and I had issues with the quality of food I received. Afterwards, I called to speak with restaurant a while back and was offered a gift which was to be sent to my home via mail. I still haven't received anything and really find it strange that I was told that but haven't been compensated as a previous loyal customer. Hopefully, this isn't a ongoing issue.

A friend and I had dinner and a drink here last night. The atmosphere was great and the menu was huge with an incredible selection to choose from. Our meals were fantastic and the caesar salad was by far the most delicious I’ve had anywhere! Our server, Pam, was top-notch and went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. She was incredibly friendly and attentive- I have nothing but positive things to say about Pam and our experience last night. I’ll definitely be back!

** WARNING:: LONG REVIEW** Zero stars need to be an option. 3 failed meals in 7 days.... December 31, 2021: NYE Reservations for 8:30pm. Ordered apps, steak and loaded potatoes for myself, meatloaf for my husband and desert. Apps were decent, entrees arrive, regular mashed potatoes, mention it to the server, but opted to not return a meal just because of the potatoes, was suggested I order gravy, I did...big mistake. Awful, just awful; Didn't use it. Start to eat my "vegetables" nothing more than cold, pretty much raw, unseasoned (like not even a grain of salt) green beans. Horrible. Inedible and left to be tossed in the garbage. Move on to the steak. Asked for it to be medium well, cut into it, pink, (almost red if I'm being totally honest here) and oozing, none for me thanks. Mention it to the server (not her fault), opted to not have the meal remade at this point as my husband was pretty much done his meal by then and would have sat there another 35 min to wait for it and then watch me eat. Thankfully the server was the super nice, the desert was great and I had wonderful company because the meal itself was not fit to eat. Give them another shot...January 2nd 2022: My daughter ordered apps on SKIP shortly before close. 20 min later the order was cancelled and she received a message: $5 SKIP credit given. Called the restaurant the next day, asked why it was cancelled only to be told "It shouldn't have been"...thanks tips! Given SKIP # to retrieve my daughter's $50...still waiting on that $$ to date. January 6th, 2022...one last attempt. Tried to order the Wonton Nachos, not available. Ordered the hoisin chicken bites and a salad (along with a few other items for the fam ((totaling just OVER $100)) and tbh, I'm not sure what happened to the sauce that was supposed to be on them but the bites were dry, rock hard, cold and almost no sauce. Oh and I should add, the green beans with my husband's meal...same cold, unseasoned, almost raw, sad little green beans...that once again made it to the garbage. I GIVE UP!! You would think in a time where restaurants are struggling to stay afloat and want support, they could be at least semi conscious of the food that is leaving the kitchen. Good luck getting through this latest lockdown with food like this. ONE star for dining in. Don't get excited, it's only because your server was great and made a horrible experience tolerable. ZERO stars for the food (both dine in and take out).

Had a swiss mushroom melt burger with a veggie burger substitute instead of the meat burger. It was delicious. Had a poutine on the side was just ok. Gravy didnt melt the cheese curds , I was disappointed. But service was good and they accommodated are walk in group of 9.

Our server was very friendly and knew the menu items well. She answered every question. My salad was fantastic; so fresh! The chocolate cake was awesome too. Good sized portions. I found it noisy. That could just be me. Oddly, there didn't seem to be air conditioning in the ladies washroom. It was very warm. I would recommend the restaurant. My companions enjoyed their meals too.

We ordered our meal through skip the dishes; 1 pastrami sandwich and 1 double monty sandwich. My fiance purchased the pastrami sandwich and added Swiss cheese and the "stack it up" option (meaning to add more meat) and also upgraded his fries to a poutine... his sandwich had 3 pieces of pastrami on it and he only received eight fries??? His dish alone was $24.96! We love to support local in these times but paying that for a 3 piece meat sandwich with 8 fries is insanity. The taste of everything was great which is why I gave 3 stars but the portions on that sandwich alone was not right, I'd hate to see how much meat he got on it if we just ordered the regular sandwich. ????

Five stars for the service. Our server was Dana and she was awesome. We ordered a couple of pints, nachos and ginger chicken bites. The beer was good and the chicken bites were amazing. The nachos were good except there was a massive pile of lettuce that hid the fact there was very little cheese on them, like I'm talking maybe 6 or 7 that had cheese on them. We were disappointed in that but it wouldn't stop me from eating there again.

Been here twice, service is great, food is good. Has become one of the highlights of cambridge instantly. Very nice place to take your significant other and even your family. My fav is the angus meat loaf. The stacked chicken with eggplant is delicous too. I also have tried the jojos jamaican shrimp with chicken, it is good but the rice needed a little more cooking. On busy nights ot is slow, but this is one of the few places that does right for the customer. Overall a great place and i cannot wait to go back!

If you want an amazing place to go out that is well worth the money - this is your place! The service was wondering from the greater who sat us to our amazing server. (I wish I had her name because she deserves a shout out for sure.) Our server was very busy but she didn't show an ounce of stress. She was on top of everything! The food was great - hot and tasty. I would 100% recommend for you to try this place if you haven't already.

My favourite restaurant in Cambridge. Our server Pamela was exceptional. I had a burger and the seasonal soup, my husband had the meat loaf-- his fav! It has been nice to get out of the house and go on little adventures again. Never regret driving from Brantford to Cambridge to eat at the Pickle Barrel. Wonderful experience!! Our server was pam, she was super helpful with explaining the menu as well as suggesting great and tasteful alternatives. Everything is cooked fresh and tasted amazing. Such a delight coming here for dinner tonight. I have not had service like this since i went to an all inclusive resort.

We always enjoy our food from here! During the pandemic it’s been a go-to for take out. Everything is always well packaged and ready to go at the front for you to pick up! Also every time we pick up someone has left a nice written thank you on our take-out bag. Would definitely recommend!

Went with a large group and seated fairly quickly. Waitress was friendly and quick to take drink orders. I tried the 3 Alarm Chicken breast Burger and it was really tasty. The combination of the buffalo chicken with fried jalapenos and avocado worked really well. Finished with a Strawberry Layer Cake and it was nice and light, and I would have it again

We booked 2 tables at the back corner of the patio to celebrate a friend's birthday last night. Our server wasn't friendly from the start and proceeded to scold us twice when some of us moved from the first table to the 2nd table when more people arrived. We took taxis to the restaurant. A few of us ordered food. Her husband who had eaten earlier had 2 drinks in 2 hours. They refused to serve him a 3rd drink because he didn't order any food. He's 6 foot 6 and weighs 250 lbs. He wasn't showing any signs of inebriation and we were all well behaved. We asked for the manager to express our frustration about the 2 drink limit, if you don't order any food in 2 hours. We explained this is inconsistent with other restaurants on Hespeler road. The manager said the Pickle Barrel is a family restaurant (I guess adults only aren't welcome at 9pm?), but she proceeded to bring him another beer. If we had known there was a 2 drink limit, if you don't order food, we would've taken taxis somewhere else. The Pickle Barrel should inform customers of this when customers call to book the mandatory reservation. Customers are also required to wear a mask when they go to the washroom (masks are provided). However, when you enter the restaurant to go to the washroom, half of the staff aren't wearing their masks indoors. Not sure why customers are required to wear masks indoors, but, it's optional for the staff of the Pickle Barrel? We waited about an hour for our food. I can't recall ever waiting that long for a salad. On a bright note, I did have the super berry kale salad with chicken. It was excellent.

Went for dinner the other night . Service subpar , we were never asked if we wanted another drink , they were sold out of bruschetta ....how do you sell out of bread ,oil and tomatoes ? Our meals were meh and with are usual place being up the street with wayyyyyy better beers and food its easy to say we won't be back.

The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered take out over the phone and they were super friendly taking my order. I ordered their new chicken for their 70s menu and it was so tasty. Usually love this restaurant but my lunch experience last week was very underwhelming. Firstly, what happened to the paper menus? I had dinner there just over a month ago and we were given disposable menus to look at. Scanning a code is not something I want to do at a restaurant. How do you explain that to elderly customers, or customers without a phone? The salad I ordered, though large, had clearly been sitting in dressing too long and was soggy. Chicken was not freshly grilled. I plan to return, as I always enjoy the ambience and the service is always great. Hopefully my next visit will be more memorable!

What a delightful restaurant. It was our first time visiting and it certainly won't be our last !! The service was so Amazing. Came here for a family dinner with reservations for 9 people, they made great accommodations for us! Even with part of the group being a little late, they were very patient with us. Our server was very energetic and helped us with all the questions we had, he knew the menu very well and even gave recommendations for us to try out. We have ordered through Pickle Barrel and attended their restaurants many times. Looked at the website to contact them directly but there is no option. Always happy with their food until today. We ordered and had the meal delivered. Unfortunately my NY Striploin steak that I ordered medium-rare was well done. The steak was also placed on top of my mashed potatoes so when I took the steak off they were all full of the steal juice. My wife's fries with her fish and chips were overdone and all hard.

Despite the current outbreak, my family was able to dine in as a group, with reservations, and we all enjoyed a remarkable meal. The PB Big Breakfast was amazing, and filling. Service was excellent, price was very fair for the high quality.

A few guys from work suggested we get takeout from Pickle Barrel (Cambridge) for lunch last Friday. I ordered the chicken parmesan and I was very unimpressed. The chicken was burned and dry and worst of all my meal was cold. I'm let with the feeling the chicken was prepared well in advance, potentially 24 hours or more in advance and then quickly re-heated for my meal. If I was in the restaurant I would have sent it back but as it was picked up via "skip the dishes" I had to option but to eat it. The pasta could have used a bit more sauce and that too was on the cold side. The others guys seemed fine with their food (burger / chicken on a bun, etc...) UPDATE: I contacted Pickle Barrel as they requested and they placed the blame on "Skip the dishes". So somehow the driver for Skip The Dishes burnt my chicken, leaving it dry. Way to pass the buck onto someone else. I have to ask, was the chicken prepared the day before?

My husband and I live in cambridge, but until the pickle barrel opened in cambridge, we drove to Toronto to enjoy the food and service. Before covid, we were able to enjoy a couple of dinners at the cambridge location, and even referred co-workers to your restraunt. All of which enjoyed the food and service as well. My husband and myself, have missed going out for dinner since covid, and we convinced each other to try and order our dinner by delivery. I must say that even though we love the PICKEL BARREL, we were let down. The menu from the pickle barrel does not translate well with delivery. We are looking forward to when things get back to normal, and we can once again, enjoy the food and service in the manner that it was meant to be.

This is the first time I’ve ever had pickle barrel and Unfortunately it was not good at all. I have a strong background in culinary and this dish was very poorly thought out. The seasonal veg was practically drowned in oil with very little if any seasoning. The mash potatoes have got to be the worst I think I’ve ever had in my life. The only part of this dish that was edible was the chicken which was okay. I don’t think I’ll be ordering here again. Also the coconut shrimp was good.

My husband and I recently had our first Pickle Barrel experience. While the food was delicious the value was extremely poor and incredibly disappointing. $9 to receive 4 fried pickles, $9 for SEVEN (small) pieces of cauliflower and $13 for seven wings. If you want to be full after spending your hard earned money, please spend it elsewhere to avoid serious disappointment.

Went to Pickle Barrel last night with some friends. I had made a reservation at 5pm for 4 of us. The restaurant called in the afternoon to confirm our reservation which I though was great. Arrived on time and our friends were already seated at the table. Our waiter Bowie came over right away and took our drink order. The drinks came out very quickly and then he took our food order. I ordered something but asked them to hold the goat cheese and he said "No Problem" The food came out in 15 minutes and it all was all hot, correct and delicious. Prices were not to bad. Bowie stated that this was his first serving position and I must say he did an excellent job. Was very friendly and checked on us several times. We are excited that Pickle Barrel has come to Cambridge as we have visited it often in the Toronto area so we knew what to expect and it lived up to our expectations. We will return again and hope Bowie is our server then.

Hello all, I’ve been to this location many of times and was very displeased with my visit this time around. The quality of food I was served was very subpar. During Covid-19 I am trying to help out local businesses by dining in however, the quality of service and food was not up to standard. I believe the food should be quality checked because this is unacceptable. I’ve had pleasant experiences in the past but this time around I will not be returning due to the lack of service and food.

First time ordering and eating their food. I ordered 2 regular spaghetti and meat sauce and 1child size spaghetti and meat sauce. All 3 were the same size, child size. Each one was just tossed in the sauce just enough to coat the pasta. I should have just ordered 3 child sizes and saved 10 dollars. Unfortunately my family was still hungry and had to make something else to go with the food. We were very disappointed.

This is my second time eating here, and while I liked the food the first time, I found the second time disappointing. I ordered the barrel cut steak cooked to medium rare with the mashed potatoes and vegetables, a Ceasar salad, and sauteed field mushrooms. The Ceasar salad and mushrooms we're great, the mashed potatoes were average at best but the vegetables and steak could really use some work. The seasoning for the steak was really good, but that was about it. It was tough, chewy and definitely not medium rare. It was inconsistent throughout, with the centre being completely raw. A good medium rare steak, or even a rare steak should have a nice consistency in the texture, firmness and colour throughout the meat, which it did not. The vegetables, while cooked really well (nice and crunchy!), I found them so, so salty. I ended up not finishing my meal or taking home my leftovers, which is really unfortunate for how much I spent.

Had planned to dine here today with my friend for the first time. We called them for reservation and the lady who answered the call told us we can come by 3:15pm to 3:30pm, we reached there before 3:30pm and the lady in the front refused to take us in saying our reservation was at 3:00pm. I don’t think i need to explain much now why I have given one star, I wish i could give a lower rating. Definitely I will never go here again or recommend this place to anyone I know. The staff didn’t have the courtesy to accommodate us on a different time and asked us to order a takeout. I understand due do COVID-19 there are some strict precautions to be taken but you cannot ask your customers to leave. If anyone from pickle barrel is reading this I would want you to know we came to your restaurant first time to have dinner after a long and exhausting day. This was probably the worst experience you could offer to a potential customer. ????????

My experience with Pickle Barrel has always been good however, last night I could say my experience was not the greatest. I ordered Nachos and was served nachos without any cheese on it at all. It also had 2 small jalapeños on it. I asked one of the servers if it came with cheese and she had said yes. I told her that it had no cheese on it and it was dry. She kindly took it back and apologized. A minute later, another server came and asked what was wrong with the nachos and I told her it had absolutely no cheese on it. Her response was either they would take the nachos back and give me a discount or charge me for extra cheese. I told her that made no sense to charge extra for cheese since there was no cheese on it to begin with. She proceeded to be unkind and said there was cheese on it. At this point I was not willing to argue back so I said to add cheese and ill pay extra for it. Very disappointing as this was my first time after a long time going out to eat at a restaurant because of COVID-19! Also, the server was not kind at all.

I ordered 2 kids meals today. One of the kids meals came with no sauce, the other one looked like someone dumped a can of tomato sauce on it and called it a day. For the amount of money that they charged you would think that more effort would put into the meals. This is the last time I will order from Pickle Barrel. Your food use to be good but not anymore. I can't even get a refund for it.

Good staff, very busy location. Make a reservation for dinner. They have an early dinner option from 3 to 530 that gives amazing value that I highly recommend. Also - unlike most restaurants in the Cara family - they serve Diet Coke... Overall a great spot for a casual dinner!

Staff is very friendly. Service at our table was good but there were many mix-ups with our order. Their seemed to be about 5 different people serving our table so I believe there was much miscommunication between them all. The food was average at best. It came hot but kind of tasteless ???? All of this did not affect our night out with friends. Afterall, it is the company you keep that makes a nite out memorable. We've been there in the past for lunch and it was much better.

Hey, if you can make it in 15minutes, put wait time 1hour so you don't waste other peole time please! UPDATE: After waiting 30 minutes. I came into the door and asked my order. You know what, it already there, and why they didn't bring it out? It such a worse ladies in front.

Went here with my young kid. Service was great. Venue is clean, comfortable, spacious and safe environment. Dine-indoors. Make sure to bring a sweater as AC is high (usually normal for restaurants). Accommodated young one with crayons and paper. Food didn't take too long to arrive. They had a great menu of items including a kids menu. Everything was great except for the main dishes. It wasn't necessarily awful but it was not that good. I had a burger with bacon which had little flavor, oily and not very enjoyable. I also had a French onion soup which tasted different than expected. My kid had a grill cheese and fries. Fries were fine but the grill cheese was dry and very light on the cheese. We had dessert, chocolate cake and ice cream which were pretty good. The mains were not to Pickle Barrel's usual standards at other locations. It may have been an off day for the cooks but I was not impressed to the point I felt I needed to write this review. This location almost had it all! Maybe next time!
