My first time using GTS services I gave them one large project in 3 parts; Hebrew to English which was over 35 pages. There was a second smaller project as well, Hebrew to English. The web portal for quoting jobs is very easy to use and the response time is extremely fast. I received my translations in just a few days. The translation project involved many images and tables embedded into the appraisal type document. What they gave me was a perfectly formatted documents where all text, images and tables were properly placed including borders. I also received both PDF and Word versions. The quality is outstanding with idioms translated properly. The only reason I didn't give them a full 5 is because there is a glitch (maybe just for me, using MacOS) in the printing of the accuracy certificate. I had to use a screen shot which works just fine for me anyway. I highly recommend GTS. I tried several other services and they were either very difficult to deal with and a lot more expensive. Finally, GTS was excellent in resolving PDF scan issues where they had to refund my original order so that a better source document could be used. They corresponded via email with many many times and promptly. This is a very professional service. I would definitely use them again.

Translation was extremely sloppy, certain important words were simply left untranslated, date and dollar formats were only haphazardly converted to the European style, and communication was severely lacking. It is against their policy to convert currencies, which I was not informed of until after I paid and told to simply do it myself. When I asked for assurance that this would not be illegal, I was ignored until I requested a refund. After several emails, I was rudely told I would receive one the following day. I did not, and my emails continued to go unanswered until I published a negative review. Calls go straight to voicemail. Do not recommend.

Originally, the certificate of translation was a separate document that made no mention of the translated document. Also, it was not in the target language. Within hours of noting this problem I was asked exactly what was needed and provided everything and provided the documents quickly at no charge. In a short summary: The Translation was very good, the layout of the Document was copied one-to-one even though I had only provided a scanned pdf-document. I also received a written statement that proofed, that GTS is a licensed Translator and that the translation is complete and accurate. I was very happy about the Services provided by GTS. My full Experience reviewed: So first of all, I did not pay for the services provided by GTS Translations. Here is why: I had an official government issued document to translate. I needed them for an ETA Application. As my flight was already paid and scheduled I was in a big hurry to get the document translated as fast as possible. I had no experience with any Translation Services so far, so I threw “Global Translations” into Google. Logically the first entry was for “Global Translation Services”. The website provided an upload tool to get a quote for the Price of the Translation. In addition to that, the quote also specified a delivery Date for the translated Document. As the date was set 2 days from then, it was still within the timeframe I needed the translation. So I put down my Information and paid via credit card. The next day nothing happened but I was not expecting anything different. But the only thing I got as response so far was an automated Mail thanking for my Order and that the translators would begin working on the project shortly. As it was very important to get the Translation in time I started to inquire about my Project trough GTS’ Livechat on their Website. This way I got into Contact with Mark who insured me, my Documents would be ready on this day (still 1 day before the Quoted Date). I was very happy about that. Later that day, as there were no updates on the website about my project, I asked again. Mark told me he was sorry, but they were not able to complete my translation in Time. He offered me a refund or that I could wait for the translation to be finished. As it was now supposed to be done by tomorrow 9 o’clock I agreed to wait. The next day at 9 o’clock the website still hadn’t changed and I started to worry. I contacted Mark again and he apologized again and instantly refunded my payment the reason for the delay. But he also insured me, not to spend any money on another translation service, as the translation would still be ready shortly. As he promised, the Translation was provided some time after that on the same day, so on the day, the initial quote had specified. In my last Conversation with Mark, he asked me to write a google review as I did receive my translation without having to pay for it. And I must say, even though everything went according to the first initial quote, it did not go as I was told multiple times and I would not be able to give 5 stars if my payment hadn’t been refunded. But as I did get my money back at the first inconvenience, there is really nothing bad I can say about my Experience with GTS. I put the translated documents into my application and it went through. PS. For everyone that is interested: In the end I did not make my flight as the ETA Applications are processed very customer-unfriendly by the Canadian Government. That has nothing to do with the Translation provided by GTS. I flew two days later. PPS. The official Logo of GTS and their Website is “GTS Translation Services” which turns into “Global Translation Services Translation Services” that’s a bit redundant don’t you think? ;)

It seemed too good to be true, and it was. The timing was great, the work, not so much. First, I didn't get the translation certified, which was something I then asked for, was answered quite rudely by Mark that it was, I should download the certification. Because my translation was English to German, I expected said certification to be in German. It was in English. When I pointed this out, Mark told me that they only had it in English. Funny, I thought it was an enterprise that did translations. He finally agreed to get it translated to German, and thought it probably would be accepted in Germany. While proofreading, I noticed that one of the translations was wrong, the meaning of an sentence was misinterpreted. When I pointed this out, Mark said that it wasn't, told me they would give me a refund and asked me to get another translator. So much for the quality concern. Guess I will have to get it done by a professional. Edit: on top of everything else, you lie. I sent exactly 1 email requesting that 1 sentence be corrected, and then the part that said "[illegible signature]" be in German. When I got no response, got in contact again with Mark over the chat, for that sentence (which, if I am going to be honest, was kind of the main sentence of my recommendation letter: the duties I perfomed at my job). I did pay, YOU decided to not correct YOUR mistake and told me I was going to get a refund and to look for another translator. I am attaching a screenshot of the emails that I sent from my email address in the last week as proof of your lies. Notice I left the first letter of the person I sent it to, so you can't claim that I covered emails to you up.

It is really too good to be true. My 135 euros went in vain. I wanted some translations of English documents into German language. During the order process they were very responsive, but later the tables turned- 1. The translations were NOT ACCURATE, multiple times I had to ask them for corrections, for which I have proof in my mails. 2. The translations come 'WITHOUT ANY CERTIFICATION', yes, I am saying that because they ask you to download a paper, which is supposed to be a proof for your translations, but trust me it isn't. I live in Germany, and the citizen's office denied to accept those translations in a minute as there was no stamp or whatsoever in the translation. My translated documents look like as if I printed them out myself from google translate. 3. IGNORANCE- when none of the offices accepted those translations, I asked the GTS services, through a mail on 17th of February, 2021 (phone is never picked up, so don't even try) to send me a hard copy of the translations with some certification or stamp, as a proof, so that I can show it officially. I even mentioned that I will pay them the postal fees (which normally translation agencies charge in their order process). IT'S BEEN A MONTH NOW, NO REPLY YET. And it is the same email id via which there was an active conversation during the order process. I request everyone to go through the negative reviews once, and not be ignorant like me. Don't be fool of the overall ratings. PS- Since I can't reply to the replied comment, I am editing my review here. Yes GTS did contact me, "ONLY AFTER I POSTED THE REVIEW". Secondly, 'tried hard' is too much emphasize when they don't reply to customers regarding their query, which I did. And I translated 5 documents from GTS for which you have sent me only one with the stamp. Most importantly, regarding the refund, you considered that only if I "REMOVE THE GOOGLE REVIEW". I am also attaching proof to the kind of service provided by the GTS.

Horrendous experience with cringe-worthy customer service. GTS never even emailed me and told me when my translations were done I had to continually log into my account and check. When I saw they were done I checked my email to see if they had told me, and of course not. They would have never emailed me so its pretty much just waste your time and keep checking until were done kind of deal, they work on their time not yours. They completely ruined the formatting of the translated documents leaving us not knowing if words were in their correct spot and if everything was accurate. We had to have graphic designers fix the formatting. When I emailed them to see if they can just quickly glance over it to check to make sure the translation is correct AFTER we had to fix it, they said they would. its been 1.5 weeks and still nothing, the images I attached are my final attempt to contact them through their website chat. Their customer service DOES NOT stand by the rule that the customer is right, they are snippy, argumentative, and honestly just very bad and unprofessional customer service. SIDE NOTE - the reason I had to use their live chat was because they refuse to answer emails (or even email you when your work is done) they also never answer the phone, the ONE time i got through on the phone they literally answered by saying "yes?" in an irritated voice ... then I said uhhm hello? is this GTS? and they said yes? again in an irritated voice ... any company that answers the phone with yes and has their customer support team argue with customers is horrible business practice. SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE STRESS OF THIS FACADE OF A COMPANY. they argue with every single person who leaves a bad review. They also try to belittle you and put you down. Its astonishing this company hasn't drowned yet. I just read another review and they literally tried to belittle the customer by letting everyone know that is a waitress at red lobster. WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS DOES THAT? So childish and petty and always need the last remark. Its a joke of a company.

OK, I'm editing this. They did call me back and they did fix things. They gave me new translator's certifications that actually mentioned the documents translated and they gave a $150 discount/refund. But it was still work to get this done. My client spent $550 on translations from GTS. He paid for 48 hour service. Total time to translation was about a week. The translations appear to be machine translations, but GTS assured me that they are not. They do not appear to meet legal requirements. If you are looking for translations for legal purposes, this may not be a good place for you. The documents are reproduced in English EXACTLY like they look in Spanish - same formatting, same ink signatures, etc. This is not the way translators normally produce translations. Normally, the translator writes [signed] or [signature] on the translation where signatures appeared and [seal] where seals appeared, etc. These translations have the appearance of forgeries, which makes them dangerous to use for legal purposes - they reproduce copies of ink signatures, government stamps, seals, etc. in a way that is dangerous because the English translation is not necessarily precise and the agency or person who signed, affixed a seal, etc. has never seen this translation and certainly never authorized it. It would be wise to carefully rethink the methods being used here.
