I would not recommend this place for translation. They are so rude at the phone and unprofessional, they don't seem like they want to help at all. They send me the translation 2 times and said the courier couldn't find my appartment. I said OK I will come by to pick it up and they said that they can't give it only if I paid 25 $ and send again with another post office, I would never paid that since I live 20 minutes away not in another country. Bye bye never again!!! P.S. I have the copy via email

I needed to translate my passport which had about 60 stamps in 3 languages and was done in 1.5 Days and cost 160$. My emails were answered spontaneously any time of the day or night and never showed delay or reluctance no matter how many questions and inquiries I had. what can I say, I am positively surprised. We needed to process several documents for authentication in DFAIT and then have them transferred to our embassy. we shopped around and the cost of docsbase was pretty much on par or a bit cheaper than what I found in other places for authentication. translation was cheaper. What I and my mom liked is that the person we spoke on the phone first (do not remember his name, I then dealt with Isabelle) actually bothered to explain to us how embassy will process our documents, how to prepare them, what we need and where we could save costs. They even explained how we could get everything done everything ourselves if we wanted to. I would say it was really honest. Now, translation was done in about 2 days (14 pages) and then they asked us to approve our spelling of names which was wise because alphabet is not latin. We then did notary in docsbase office and had them finalize documents in DFAIT. done next day, appreciate that. In total we are very satisfied with the service we received and I want to say that I was glad that they kept me always informed about the process stages. E.g. when documents translated they told us, then sent to Ottawa we had tracking, when legalized we had scans and it was really great how they followed with us. Very polite and very gentle. I recommend

They translate the entire document accurately, including seals. They also offer you a chance to review the documents before certifying them and send you a scanned copy before mailing. As for the pricing, it's very reasonable compared to others. They don't charge you extra for mailing the documents unless you want it trackable. If you have electronic copies of your documents, you don't need to go there at all; all you need is to communicate by email. They are also completely certified and accepted by the IRCC for translations. I'm very satisfied with my experience and will definitely go to them again if I need anything.

This was my second time using Docsbase. Good the first time, terrible the second time. When i sent their English-to-French translated document to my Quebec office for use, they were disgusted at the very poor Google translation. When I took the time to look myself (because I do speak and read French), I realized they were right. The Quebecois employees said that 'it looks like someone used Google translate'. How can I possibly defend Docsbase when it is my french-speaking employees complaining about how bad the translation is?! They asked me to provide comments on every error. Anyone who can write French knows that if the verb conjugation is wrong, half of a sentence can be wrong. Anyone who writes French knows that, unlike English, there are several verbs for one English phonetic word (eg. connaitre, savoir, entendre parler de, etc.)....so....if I'm having to tell Docsbase the very basics, what am I paying them for???? Docsbase accused me wanting to have a translation done for free. That can't possibly make sense if you have to pay up front. In fact, I think they want you to pay up front so they can take the money, do a terrible job, and walk away. In addition, their written English response to me was such terrible English grammar, I realized that I got what I paid for. Enough said. The sad thing is that Docsbase was sending me a certification! Never ever again. Update - 27 December 2017 - Docbase provided me with a refund, but I never received the certification I requested, which is smart on their part, because I could have taken them to court with it. I will say that I have since paid someone else to translate the same document, and all they could do was laugh. Docbase should be embarrassed.

I ordered a few bunches of translations (3) went well, late because of "Canada Post service", but was ok. after the fourth requirement I think they got overwhelmed because after 2 months to wait for my papers I decided to ask and pay for re certificated and pick them up to avoid Canada post "lost them" again, that was the answer they told me after all that wasted time. The service is not good at all for urgent necessities. the documents I picked up only where 1 of two. Because was urgently.... You are not allowed to publish my address or personal information. I don’t know why they have more than one star reviews, it looks like a scam, I trusted the positive reviews on google but now I am sure they are all fake, they are very expensive ( I paid 82 dollars for a marriage certificate translation ) and they take their money first then they send you the file to verify by email, the translation was all mistakes in spelling, grammar and meaning, I had to fix the translation myself and send back and when I asked if the translator was proficient in Arabic language because it looked like it was translated by Google translate, Isabel got so defensive and because of my question 3 weeks later I haven’t received my translated documents, I contacted Isabel by email inquiring about my translated documents and she was so aggressive and disrespectful, now I have an appointment with the embassy but no document, if there was negative star evaluation this sham of a business deserves negative 5 stars. Had my wife's couple passport stamps and visas to be translated to English. Had original scans and scans with directions on them to follow what needs to be translated, marked with green color. You can't miss it unless you're totally careless. And they were. Translated stamp in English to guess what... English! Skipped page-wide visas, both, 2 of 2 skipped - seems they didn't like it. Some Russian guy reached out to speak on the phone, was rude, started to speak Russian right away like I had to understand him. Was telling me something about their lawyer. Honestly I'd question their business culture. But one thing is true - prices are low as the quality is. They charged me around $70. After they refunded I found translators in Alberta for $170 and they did a perfect job. If you want it cheaper and risk your time, future(with such poor outcomes for you immigration processes) and money - go ahead and try them, otherwise - go somewhere else.

If there was an option of 7 stars I would have given this to them. I needed translations for my Citizenship Application. I used to live in Saudi Arabia and hence had over 50 stamps on three separate passports. All local Calgary translators quoted me over 150 to do this job. I was hoping somebody will do it for a 100. I emailed DocBase and they gave me a price of approx. 70 bucks. Promptly accepted, having doubts in my mind for the service I am gonna get. Extremely responsive team, especially Translation Manager Isabel. They gave me a draft in less two days and I reviewed it and returned it back to them and the original translation came in the mail within three days. I was super impressed, very professional looking documents and all done in time and an extremely reasonable cost. A month later I was required to get the translation for my parents Marriage Certificate. Again, extremely responsive, Isabel, had it all sorted out for me in less than two days. I missed a spelling mistake after I had accepted the draft. They had it all finalized and put in the mail, I emailed her to ask for this correction, she had it all taken care of. I was in my mind ready for a cost to this blunder of mine but she took care of it. That's why I would say, they are the best translator I have ever used and trust me I have used many, being from an Arab country where everything is in Arabic. If I were to describe them in one line, 'The most Canadian translator in Canada', now you all know what being Canadian entails !! Cheers.
