Pretty terrible customer service. In a world of closing big box stores- you would think customer retention would be important. I no longer have any reason to shop here. There was a mix up with a faulty product I had bought and for some reason the skew didn’t match something they had in store, even with my receipt they would not do the return. I get that there was obviously a mistake at some point - but their policy is not “customer is right”. Avoid this store if you want the experience of being able to return items to a brick and mortar store.

The staff has always been rather friendly and helpful. Sometimes, I just dont want to search, I ask an associate for help and they can point me in the right direction straight away. Everything is generally easy to access and very visible. Making a nice bathroom set or bedroom set is quite easy. Parking has always been rather accessible. If I were to have any complaint, it would be on the price of product, that being said, it is often a quality product. The products I have purchased will last a long time. If you are willing to make the investment, you may have a lovely home, with quality product. I purchased my bathroom set piece by piece over the course of several visits, due to a tight budget.

5 or 6 staff members followed me around the whole store ＆ each time i looked over at them they starred back while still chatting with colleagues, when I confronted them two ladies said it was only protocol, which I understand but in this circumstance basically the whole staff was not only following me but starring at me in an unfriendly manner. I don’t think I looked like a threat to anyone, I was wearing my winter coat with baggy slacks ＆ a very expensive purse which shouldn’t give off the impression that i’m in any way a thief, so I politely went about my business ＆ walked to the checkout to pay for my white basic duvet (which did not display the price anywhere near where it was stocked) ＆ when i saw that it was 555$ I couldn’t believe my eyes. I admit I was not so polite when I told them I was going to buy it somewhere else ＆ how overpriced the blanket was while I walked out but I can tell ya that I’m never shopping there again ＆ i’m definitely going out of my way to get everyone i know to stop as well. However this was by far the worst costumer service I have ever received ＆ Hope to contact whoever is in charge of the staff members at this particular location.

I went to the Glenmore and MacLeod Body Bath and Beyond store to exchange (not return!) a new product I received as a gift. I didn’t have a receipt as a friend of mine doesn’t know that I want to exchange it and I don’t want to upset her saying that her gift didn’t work for me. I was refused any help as “the system will not allow me to do an exchange without a receipt “. The manager, Renooka (I hope my spelling is correct as neither her nor the associate who called her were wearing the name tags) didn’t even try to help and was just saying “come with a receipt “. Very dissatisfying shopping experience!

Went to the store located in Mcleod and I was asked by 4 different store clerks if I needed help, this was a bit to much and it made feel unwelcomed to browse and look for things at my own pace. I finally decided to leave, and I did buy a bench, a desk and a cushion in wayfair and amazon. I would rather buy in person and locally but this wasn’t the best experience, and maybe it is because of the covid stress, so I hope it gets better.

Really like this bed bath and beyond. It's really clean and the staff are friendly. Nice quality goods with mixed prices. Some sales are good and some items are fairly priced and others outrageously expensive, it's a spectrum. This store has a wide selection with new goods frequently coming in so it's always fun to walk around in.

Well, I started shopping online because I am being bombarded by emails since I made a Christmas purchase, by a coupon offer. I got ALL THE WAY to the end and found i could only use pay pal. How frustrating. I dont use PayPal. No other options. So I went shopping in store to use the coupon. It was fine. A little confusing figuring out how the coupon was applied, but the sales clerk was helpful in the end explaining the receipt.

The young staff member in the section required was very helpful and led me to the exact item I required. So great! The check out counter clerk was rude, lazy and totally ignorant. The register said 1 price and the sign another on the product we were wanting to purchase. She said "oh well" "nothing I can do". My husband went and got the sign advertising the item we would have purchased, she said "well it's not in the register so I can't sell it for that price.... what else do you want". We left our entire cart and walked out hearing her complaining that "she was due a break and where was a replacement." If she were my staff she'd be replaced alright! You have good products but some of your staff will be your downfall. Won't be back.

The store itself has a lot of products but the lack of customer service is horrible. Me and my partner were looking at buying massage chair but were unsure of the features we were looking for. We must have been standing there for 30 mins looking at all the models and not one single employee greeted us or asked us if we needed help and walked by 3 times. We found one that we liked but again there were no prices underneath or anywhere and most stores would honor that price or give you a discount since its not the customer fault if you do not mark items correctly. They then say well sorry its not that price , which ok fine but no discount? , we then ask what they recommend as there is a huge price difference for both massages we were looking at ....neither of the employee's knew anything about the products and couldn't give us a solid response other then it goes up and down your back. I think since me and my partner look young they assumed that we were not going to buy anything but i was willing to spend upwards of 300$ so they lost a huge sale. It seems as if this store only wants you to get out as soon as possible , and i was not going to buy anything cause i bet the return policy would be a joke. I would not recommend going to this location. I think there are way better ones around the city. My tip would be train the staff better and knowledge in the products would be useful.

BUYER BEWARE, don't visit in the winter. The staff at the Bed Bath and Beyond, near Chinook mall in Calgary, is known for being negligent with the store's maintenance and safety for its customers, as they do not ensure the that the sidewalk attached to their building is clear and salted / sanded which results in cases of brain injury. The quality of the goods and prices is not worth the cost of physical harm, especially when you can order it through better vendors online, and have it delivered to your home safely.

I was gifted an Ugg dog sweater from a family member. Unfortunately I already had this dog sweater, So I thought I would go into the store and simply ask for a exchange/store credit. I went to the cashier and asked if I could exchange or get a store credit for the item. Since clearly my dog already had one.. he was wearing it. He turned around and asked I assume was a leader or manager if he could and the lady had a disgusted face on and said no. I said I just wanted an exchange or a store credit so I can buy something else. Again, in a disgusted face I was told no. It's the Christmas season, lots of people are getting gifts and not everyone has a gift receipt. I'm not asking for cash, I wanted a simple store credit. I love my Bed Bath & Beyond, but this was horrible.

Bed Bath and Beyond Expectations! Jo-Jo was fantastic at heing both knowledgable and approachable. She works in the bedroom area, at least that is where i met her and needed her help with. As a guy, I know some things about bed dressing, but not a ton. I found Jo-Jo's explanations easy to follow. She knew where the items would be and took the time to walk with me to get them. She even helped me get a cart knowing that I would need one. After making sure that I had everything I needed I was placed in the capable hands of Deepa at the front. She was friendly and efficient as well. The cavernous store with tons of stock is not so intimidating when you have capable guides to assist you through. Without them I very likely would have either left empty handed or with a quarter of what I did purchase. Guys, this is a good place to go for the wife. The staff will help you look like a Superstar.

Do not order anything from them online. It's beyond ridiculous. They provide a tracking number that shows delivery to customs and nothing past that. I've now been on hold twice for over 2 hours each time and nothing was provided other than "it's on the way". Once my payment is taken I expect to be able to track my package. I will absolutely never order from here again. If a zero star was an option they would get that. Update: My package arrived (Non Stick Pans) they arrived dented with almost no packing materials in the box. The option was to ship it back and wait for new ones to be shipped. What a gong show. Never again will I order from them. There are too many options that provide way better customer service.

Totally botched the only Christmas gift that my wife asked for, ordered early to avoid any surprise with stock or shipping and received a factory damaged item. I called and spoke with the sales associate who checked and was told that as long as I returned it that day I would definitely have it for Christmas morning... Days later an email from "BED BATH AND BEOND" informing me that I am not going to be receiving any item at anytime as stock is depleted. I had the opportunity to drive across town and pick up the item at two stores that had stock and was told by the two sales associates that traveling to the other stores was unnecessary and promised that I would have the item for sure by the 24th!! I don't hold the sales associates responsible, I refer to the training personnel and the management, for dereliction of their responsibilities to offer the basics of making sure their patrons are dealt with in a timely responsible and 'kind' way... Not exactly too much to ask for!!! "...UPSET PATRON IS A PATRON NO MORE "

I tested out their curbside pick up service yesterday. Their weren't very many people in the store by the look of the parking lot. However, I noticed one other person using the same service - who was there before me. It took more than 20 minutes after following their instructions listed, for the young lady to bring me my things. I was a bit disappointed in the speed of their service but I was thrilled to get my order. I am looking forward to have MG new plates for Easter!!!

Good little store, huge selections of products. A bit pricey sometimes but they have really good sales, you have to visit constantly. They do have some nerdy themed stuff as well. Friendly staff, maybe a bit too friendly in that they don't seem to read "headphone" language. For someone with anxiety and or social issues please read the language. But overall a great place for bed, bath, kitchen... you know... beyond!

Customer service is awful. Would stay away. My wife and I had our wedding registry through them and easily spent a thousand dollars on things to set up our condo after the wedding. After 6 months one of the pots that we bought with a set from them started to fall a part and the non-stick lining began to flake off. When we showed up with the faulty pot and receipt in hand the clerk looked at us very unimpressed and let us know she had these pots for 10 years and "she's never had this issue." After the manager of cookware came over, she just looked at us and said we probably used them in a way we shouldn't have and waited for us to leave. Absolutely no effort to help us in any way, just kept telling us we were the problem and looking annoyed with us. After we decided to contact Calphalon (the company that made the cookware set) they immediately responded, apologized and agreed to send us a new replacement with no cost to us. Have had better experiences at other bed bath and beyond's but this one seems to consistently have poor customer service. Doubt we will be back to this location.

I like this store a lot. This is my fave BB&B location. It’s busy but never feels cramped. Huge selection of anything you could ever need, and tonnes of stuff no one ever needs but is fun!! The staff here are always friendly and I’ve never had an issue here. The only downside of them, and this is NOT this location alone, the pricing tends to be a little high on some of their kitchen items. The pots and pans you can get cheaper at Canadian tire and same with most knife sets and dishes. They have a lot of fun items you can’t find elsewhere.

It is very frustrating in these times when the economy is suffering to experience poor customer service. I just really wanted to freshen up my bedroom with a new duvet, sheets and pillows. The bedding section is a bit overwhelming and the only time I encountered a sales person they asked me “are you finding everything?”, I responded that I could not find one that l liked yet. Her response was to say “ok” and walk away. I wandered in the section for another 30 minutes before I gave up and left. I guess no New bedding for me. I won’t be back.

Went to buy a waffle iron that was on sale. It was the display unit. They said it was a bio hazard because they used it for demos and instead said they were throwing it in the garbage instead of selling it to me . Should be more careful of inspecting items before putting them up for sale. It was sold out everywhere and because it was used they'd rather literally throw it in the garbage instead of selling it. It's fine to have whatever protocol you have but what a disappointment!

Urgent need of Customer Service training...take some pride in your work! I left and went to Walmart and my experience was so much better. The prices were lower, the isles were large enough and clean enough to fit the provided carts, staff was helpful and friendly. I recently purchased a waffle maker from the website and it arrived yesterday after over 2 weeks from ordering, and it happened to be completely smashed on top. So I get a hold of Bed Bath and Beyond and I'm told I either have to take it and drop it off at a FedEx drop off place or take it to a store. I explained the whole reason of purchasing it online was that I didn't want to go into a store but they wouldn't have FedEx come pick it up from my house. So I take it to this location this morning and while the person is starting the return they mention they might have it in stock so we go look and they have the same brand but round and I want Square, said I could get something else and I asked if they would give me a discount on the ones they had in stock that were more expensive but she said no. Throw into the mix that I was misgendered a couple of times and the hassle to get something that works and not wanting to be in a store I just wish I would have bought it from Amazon. Next time I will.

I love this store for an eclectic mix of kitchen and bath items and many things in between. Although the store features kitchen and bath necessities (pots, small appliances, cutlery, towels, curtains, bedding; to mane just a few), it also carry items for your pet, your holiday decorating and most cleaning chores. Well worth a look if you are in the market for a specific item or if you just want to browse. My one complaint is that the store is jammed so the aisles are tight and there could be improved signage - a small niggle though for a fun and well stocked store.
