Great gym. Some of the comments made here are false. People need to grow up and take ownership of their ignorance. This gym gives you copies of the contracts to review and you have enough time to review & rescind if you have issues. Stop making a joke of yourself by falsely accusing a local business that is going above and beyond for its members thru these tough times. Anytime Fitness Skypoint, unlike other gyms, stopped their billing the same day when lockdown happened. They even gave their members an extra 3 months to make the gym enhancement payment. We are in this together. Let’s help our local businesses stand back on their feet and ignore these people who fail to read their contracts.

I have been trying to contact the management team for over 3 months. They do not ever answer the phone and you are not able to leave messages. I have moved and is now a 45min drive home to work that location and apparently they are the only ones that can do anything. Avoid this place

Great gym when it first opened. But with COVID 19 floating around I haven't frequented this gym as much for good reason. Not the staff. Staff is great. But some of the PATRONS are just plain ignorant. Sneaking friends in. Not wearing masks in areas where you're supposed to. Wearing outdoor shoes. And NOT wiping equipment after use. Today I went and witnessed 2 gentlemen literally use and touch every dumbbell and not even wipe them down after. So gross.. I know it's hard to keep tabs on everyone at a 24/7 gym. But damn some people need to learn proper etiquette there.

I went to a different Anytime a couple weeks ago and I have to say besides the size of this location limiting certain pieces of equipment being present, the club itself is very well maintained, doesn't feel overly congested and the staff keep the club VERY clean. I'd like to see more equipment geared towards legs/back. But again, the space limits that. Other than that, I just wanna say THANK YOU. Keep up the great work guys.

The manager at this location is awesome. She really takes care of the place and makes sure its well upkept. I've made suggestions for certain types of equipment and she's asked the owners to buy them and sure enough within like 2 weeks or so maybe less they had what I was asking for. The environment is super friendly too. I'd definitely recommend going here over other gyms and locations.

I really enjoy working out here, the gym and staff have a very welcoming, encouraging environment! It’s a very diverse place in the city, so it’s nice to see a lot of walks of lives, I would like to recommend T.V.s in the gyms to watch sports, also washrooms could be better cleaned during the nights, as they seem to get dirty, i would like the mirror that is broken by the weights to be fixed asap as well, as it is a safety hazard, the shower curtains could be the water proof ones, so they don’t rust from the bottom like how they are!

The secret is out. This Anytime Fitness is the newest, cleanest, and friendliest in Calgary. The staff are welcoming, and the gym members that I have encountered are extremely friendly. The gym itself has three full bathrooms with showers, and there is towel service. There are lockers that allow use of a personal lock, two changing rooms, boot racks, and a filtered water bottle station. In the gym area there are lots of disposable wipes to maintain cleanliness. 5 treadmills with Netflix and YouTube. Two stair climbers. Spin bikes, ellipticals, 2 water rowers. Full complement of free weights. Squat racks, assisted racks, and plenty of benches. There is also a stretching area that many use for ab exercises and lunges. The gym also has a great sound system playing motivating gym music. Peak time is 1700-1930ish, but even when busy nobody waits, respectful crowd. Glad to be a member and highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for an upbeat and positive place to workout. Up and coming area to, by summer the entire area will be packed with great restaurants for those after workout cravings :)

I canceled my membership inside the anytime sky pointe location I was told by the staff member kiran that my membership has been canceled. However today I received a text saying my payment is having an issue being processed. I called the location and spoke with kiran and I was told that there’s no cancellation form on file, when cancelling I was not provided a form to sign of any sort and she said I didn’t send one in, where am I suppose to generate this form from if I am not provided one . I would not recommend this franchise after the one year contract was over I decided to cancel my membership and clearly it hasn’t been canceled and now I am responsible for over due charges aswell. This place is a joke. I had to edit my review because of your guys reply, as I said at the beginning I came into the sky pointe location doesn’t say I did it over the phone. Thank you so much for actually reading my review and taking the time to reply to it.

Trying to resolve this issue & talked with manager & owner both are so arrogant & rude they refused to return our money & also with in one month their key fob are not working talked with owner & manager manager told me they have problems with scanner & owner told me internet is down sometimes & fob is working with internet this happened 5 to 6 times a month in early morning every month as well They don't care about their members only cares about their money ????

Many members of my family have joined Anytime Fitness gym just as this location opened up! They have said numerous times that it is a great facility that has been maintained really well and kept really clean. It has top notch equipment and extremely professional, helpful employees. Of course, since it is a community gym, during peak hours the place gets really busy but since its close to home your family can feel safe to go workout! The gym membership is also more affordable than other competitive facilities. My family members highly recommend this gym! Go and workout :)

It’s impossible to cancel your membership because of COVID-19. Customer service representatives are rude, belligerent and unhelpful. I have never dealt with worse customer service, not ever. Since I can’t reply, I’ll edit. You just typed in “Mark” and didn’t have everything pop up?!... Oye. I’m a member at the Chestermere location and have been fighting with the Anytime Fitness reps on the phone, they are terrible to talk to. They lie. They argue and they don’t help resolve anything.

Best anytime you'll ever go to. Weekdays is kept superclean then the members ruin it over the weekend. They forget where they got their dumbbells from and put it somewhere completely different I don't know what kind of pre workout you guys taking when there is 1 minute between the time you pick it up, do your rep, and go to set it back and your brain goes "????????????? I guess I'll put it on the next open slot completely opposite from where it picked it up from" 3 private washrooms with showers and they provide towels which is excellent. They could use more mirrors infront of the barbell racks is my only complaint and hope they add it.

This is my first time with Anytime Fitness but I have been to numerous other franchised gyms. For a smaller gym serving the community of Skyview, there's enough machines and weights for any kind of workout. The gym members I've shared the gym with (so far) have been friendly, clean up after themselves, and are regulars. My only feedback is the open area can be walled off if there are classes offered in the future.

By far one of the best Anytime Fitness locations that I have been to. No doubt it gets busy during peak hrs but staff works very hard to keep the place spotless and organized. I have noticed some ungreatful members being mean to the employees at times. Folks need to realize that if it wasn’t for this location, you wouldn’t have a good community gym that is close to home and where your family feels safe to go work out at at any hour. I agree there are rules to not let the people that are not vaccinated in cause they are afraid of the number inclinging. When I went into the gym I didn't know of the updated restriction as I avoid the new which is all negstive. When I walked onto Anytime Fitness Skyview Kiran was not polite and NOT AT ALL compassionate. She talked in a monotone voice like a cop said "I can only let vaccinated people in you have to leave". No compassion and understanding. Like I was a another number. Didn't feel like she was talking to me like a compassionate human being. Didn't even ask me for my name. If she showed a little more heart and care it would of been nice. Left the place as if I was not welcomed and some sort of outsider.

Goodbye covid, don't let the door hit you on the way out! This Skypointe location is fun. Decent people, lots of equipment, three private showers. The people who are rude to the manager Kiran are horrible, I find her to be great. No person deserves abuse, especially from an online platform. I have been a member of AF for over 4 years, and I have never had an issue with being overcharged. Read your contract, all of the fees and policies are contained within. Stay happy and healthy! On vacation in beautiful PEI until mid July but looking forward to returning to the gym! Covid = gone!

I got my account canceled, they did a great job.if you can contact them and discuss a suloution, they would help you figure it out. -------------------------------------------------------- The gym is nice but the poor serice destroyed everything. I have to leave Canada cuz the Covid19, it's impossible to cancel my membership at this location. It should be expired about 3months, but they asked $100 as cancelling fee and also i need to spend $150 more to proof my new residential address as English, even they can just use Google to translate the address within 3mins! So I just let they charge me 3months and say goodbye to anytime fitness forever! Covid 19 is a thing, but bad customer service is more critical. Hope you could do some changes for the customer cancellation rules, not focus on charging $50 per month. Good luck.

Without personal trainer they took my payment . Then I asked kiran she said this is our system we can't do anything. Also they cancel my membership without any reason . Couple months ago, I joined Anytime Fitness and I can happily say that it has been one of the best gym I have joined. The gym has really great equipments, is extremely clean and organized all the time whether you go early in the morning or late in the evening. There have been instances where the employees have dealt with some ungrateful members but they have been professional through it all. If it weren't for this location, we would not have such a great community gym close to home. It is so convenient to go Anytime just like the name! Of course, not to mention the price of the membership. It is way more affordable than the competitive facilities. Highly recommend this gym.

The gym is wonderful but the customer service is just awful. The Manager is extremely rude to deal with. I had to cancel membership because of relocation and we had to go back and forth with the manager as the information provided to us initially was incorrect. The process took a long time and the manager was abrupt when talked to her on phone. She has no sense of customer service at all. Will not go back to this franchise again.

Right as COVID shut down I had canceled my gym membership or so I was told, I'm writing this review in hopes that Skyview anytime fitness will refund the amount of money that I had to pay after sending my account to collections without ever attempting to reach out to me via email or phone. With the importance of credit these days I think its imperative that this should've been communicated with myself if the account was infact not closed as I had assumed it was. Keep in mind this was a month to month contract and not a yearly obligation. The collections company will be reversing the credit impact as there was never any attempts to reach out to myself. My review will be updated to see if anytime fitness does make this right for me as I had to pay the collection in hopes to not impact my credit moving forward. My intention with this review is that nobody else has life altering credit impacts over a gym membership.

SAVE Yourself the hassle of dealing with Anytime Fitness!! There is zero customer service. They have shady management and signup practices. Not sure if Ownership / Management is bound by corporate policy or is hiding behind it to grab as much cash as possible because of the pandemic. They don't have a monthly option. They tie you into a contract, You can only cancel at the end of the term. You can only cancel prematurely if you move more than 5 km away from an Anytime fitness and pay a cancellation penalty of $100 dollars. And this is my problem with them.... When signing up after the first lockdown; I was advised by the Manager Shyna that there would be no cancellation penalties if I moved to a place that was more than 5KM away from another Anytime Fitness. She specifically made a point of saying that they were trying to be transparent with their policies. When they finally opened back up, I called and got connected with Kiran another manager who basically said that I have no other option than to pay the $100 cancellation penalty. They wouldn't own up to the fact that they flat out lied about the cancellation penalty. They would not work with me to come to a satisfactory resolution. Best part, I now have to spend a minimum of an hour to go down to the location to "fill out" Forms because they won't let you cancel over the phone. Even during a pandemic, when the world is going remote... I now have to risk my health to leave my home to go to a gym, to cancel my membership and spend $100... Save yourself the trouble... Go on Kijiji buy some equipment, or check out some other options... Anytime Fitness is going downhill... Especially this one... just due to management and their ridiculously restrictive policies. Only good things: - Decent Location - New Location - New Equipment
