I am working as an interpreter 11 years now, and I started working with this company since 2017. Since then, the company did change a lot, but in a good way, with many people over the phone and different providers; it doesn't matter if it is a dial-out or an agent who is smiling over the phone and transferring the phone call, every phone call it's a unique one. By the way this is a great company, there is a great environment, BEST PEOPLE TO WORK WITH; starting from the top to the bottom, everyone in this company are committed to the job and are friendly and open to help you with any issues along the day, and I mean any issues at all, not only work related (I can bear witness to that fact). I am a freelancer Spanish Interpreter and even in the distance they always make it feel like they are around the block. Finally, to summarize everything, the payments are always on time. **I was forgetting about this but the only one sad thing it's the fact that I've just met Liliana and Nelson in a video conference call like 5 months ago (finally after all these years), but I didn't have the chance to meet the rest of the team YET(one day)**

I have been working for 911 Interpreters for over a year now and I always wish I had started earlier with that company. Mind you that when I started, I had my interview/training over the phone and up until this day have never met anyone in person (Nature of the job, COVID, etc..) BUT to be fair, everyone is so professional and helpful. In rare occasions, if I face a problem (location, portal etc..) , I always reach out (by email or phone) and I get support right away. It's impressive how they can keep up the friendliness, professionalism and fairness. In terms of hours, jobs are sent to the portal and are assigned based on first come first serve. Which means when a translation is needed (in person, over the phone, or video) it is sent to everyone through a link and then you can decide on whether or not you want to accept it. The languages I do are: English, French and Arabic. I get paid what I am promised and cheque get mailed to my home address on a monthly basis (never has a problem with being underpaid or cheque not received or anything else of that sort). I have to also add that if a job is cancelled due to whatever reason, you still get paid. when you are booked to work for 2 hours and the job last 1 hour, you still get paid for the full 2 hours. I cannot emphasize how happy i am with not having to sit here and calculate and make sure i am being treated well because they met every expectation and removed all the doubts i have about the job when i first started (i saw a couple of negative reviews which made me a little iffy at first) I am not planning to quit or leave this job. Would highly recommend accepting an offer their. I am treated with respect, fairness and professionalism (and the pay is great!!!), which is what i am looking for in every job I seek. Great service. Organizing an interpreter was an easy process. My work handles insurance claims for flooding in homes and needed a translator to communicate with the homeowner. The freezing rain a week ago caused a flooding in our clients basement where she stored a lot of family heirlooms. We needed to explain concisely to her the process as she was already stressed out. The interpreter was able to ease the situation for us and calm the client. By the end of it our client was smiling and in a more optimistic mood. Very satisfied with the service and would definitely use again.

They provide many assignments for interpreters, rate is reasonable. Also, if you have questions to ask, they response very quickly and professionally. Very happy working experience with them.

Tho ngah is one worse interpreter! If you are Vietnamese make sure that you do not get this guy. Because he does not translate word for word. He is very rude and unprofessional!!! He started cutting us off and translate only one word answer. I called the company to complain and they mentioned to me that I have to call my insurance to put a complaint in to them. But what I was telling them they can’t do much until my insurance calls. Honestly I’m very disappointed. If I could give this a zero I would because they don’t even deserve 1

Late payment is always the issue for this company. No reply in the e-mail is very common. They use cheque to lay their interpreters. The company’s annual revenue already exceed 500,000 Canadian dollars, even with such a huge money, they still intentionally pay their interpreters late usually 2-6 months.
