Really disappointed with the professionalism with this motel. My 8 year old daughter was outside playing in the water in front of this motel. The owner (I assume) opened the back door (while eating his dinner?) and yelled at us to get off of the property. When I asked him why he stated that she had “broken a piece of drift wood” I’m sorry what? Drift wood that washed up from the ocean. She’s a child! Definitely not kid friendly, or friendly in general. We promptly left after that and he continued to watch us leave just to make sure. Not a great experience. There’s nicer places up the Cabot trail or by the seal island bridge for sure.
