Gorgeous clear lake, great for boating. There are barely any boats in the water. The water temperature is not too cold, great place to escape the heat on a warm summer day. Watch out for the jellyfish, as there are very many in some places.

Gotta check out groves point provincial park. Great for kids big field and day park for picnic. Water is beautiful and it gets sandy after a few meters out.

We live on the best Island in Canada. Get out there and see it. Beautiful scenery and views. Especially this time of year with all the fall colors. The Bras d'Or Lakes are amazing. Enjoy!

(Translated) Not recommendable!!! Extreme Bad roads with very deep potholes! There is nothing to see except forests and creeks at the lake - that's better off elsewhere in NS !!! (Original) Nicht zu empfehlen!!! Extrem Schlechte Straßen mit sehr tiefen Schlaglöchern ! Es gibt nichts zu sehen außer Wäldern und den Buchten am See - das gibts woanders in NS schöner !!!
