Languages in Motion is really customer and service oriented. After contacting and comparing multiple translation companies, I was convinced I must stay with LiM because of the best customer service experience: - My questions were answered in a serious and responsible way, - LiM customer service employees provided their opinion and professional advice, which I valued a lot, and which solved some confusion I had about official requirements. Not all agencies do that! - I had the impression my documents were always handled with priority and high speed, - My special wishes and additional requests were fulfilled, - The pricing was reasonable for the value I got, - Documents in multiple languages were handled, within the same time duration and no or only small differences in pricing, - The translators worked responsibly and translations were formatted well and translated professionally (except for a few minor corrections I had to claim, but these were corrected without hesitation). After the first order I did not hesitate to place two more orders. Thank you very much LiM, I will definitely come back again!

I had a short, one page, mostly non-technical document for rush translation. I asked for a quote on Monday at 3:00 pm. I received the quote on Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 pm. The quote, including the rush charge, was exorbitant. I balked at the quote and ultimately agreed to a lower, but still quite high, amount on Tuesday at 7 pm. At that time, I was advised that it was too late for the translator to confirm the price and they would get back to me on Wednesday morning. I received and promptly paid the invoice on Wednesday at 10 am and was told the translator would start "right away". At 4 pm on Wednesday, after another inquiry, I was again told that the translator should have it done right away. The document was finally delivered on Thursday at 9 am. This company's prices are high and they do not understand the 24 hour nature of international business. I have since found another online service that is 1/3 the price and has delivered five translated documents in a few hours.

There was also a bit of misunderstanding with the administration fee. However, due to their response and sincerity of their comments (namely from Jeffrey Beck, Project Coordinator), I would like to change my rating and recommendation. Frankly, I am very impressed by how serious they conduct their business and the fact that they actually care about their customer's opinions. Seems like I had just walked in on a bad day. Trustworthy and efficient, definitely recommend their service!
